Gute Simulations- & Modellierungssoftware

Vorteile:

"Es eignet sich sehr gut für die Simulation von Industriemodellen und Lagerabläufen. Kann auch mit anderen Tools von Drittanbietern integriert werden. Sie stellen uns eine kostenlose Version zur Verfügung, was eine hervorragende Eigenschaft ist. Ich glaube, wir verwenden auch Java und Python.

Nachteile:

Es wäre sehr schön, wenn wir mehr Videos mit Anleitungen zur Verwendung dieser Software hätten.Die Benutzeroberfläche ist ein wenig hektisch. Es ist nicht benutzerfreundlich und muss vor der Verwendung gelernt werden. Bei großen Dateien verzögert sie sich und braucht mehr Zeit.

Anylogic hybrid

Vorteile:

I love the hybrid simulation thing the most that we combine agent based with discrete event. It is very crucial for my project

Nachteile:

There is a very less availability and ppl have very less idea about anylogic

Kommentare: Overall good, easy to use but need to train for the models.

Great interface for systems dynamics modeling.

Nachteile:

Need training for systems dynamics models. More like user issue. AnyLogic is more expensive than other engine.

Switched to another simulationtool because of limits in AnyLogic

Kommentare: there are too many libraries. This is of course very nice but when using prorgamama the first time I panicked because there are too many possibilities. This can be improved for example to basis libraries and as the extras other libraries. Integrating 3D objects did not work

Vorteile:

I liked that many models were available on cloud as an additional resource. Also with questions that team was ready for you immediately

Nachteile:

However, I had to switch programs. Anylogic was not able to work with objects created in autocad in a .dae format. Everything jammed and my whole model crashed. I have found a better alternative simulation program that does this very smoothly

I like how powerful of a tool it is along with the helpful tutorials for getting started. I had never done any systems modeling before using AnyLogic, and I feel it was a great introduction. I am excited to continue building my capabilities with it.

Nachteile:

While the expanse of tutorials and practice case studies are great, I think an in-program tutorial that highlights all the features would be helpful as well.

Anylogic for DES simulation - Beginners to Experts

Vorteile:

Ease to learn due to the available resources on discrete event simulation

Nachteile:

It is a bit different in user interface to what I work on Plant Simulaiton

Best Tool Ever

It is very user-friendly and easy-to-use.

Nachteile:

I think there should be more exercises/instructions available online. Because it is rather hard to learn it on your own.

Great software, but would like better documentation for newcomers

Kommentare: Very confused when I first started using it, but got the hang of it once I build enough models and read the documentation.

Vorteile:

I like the flexibility and ease of creating models.

Nachteile:

The documentation and learning materials are lacking, since each model has it's own needs. Also, the "learn in 3 days" is separate from the actual documentation, making it confusing how there are 2 official sources. For the Javascript, it's very unclear how much code needs to be written in the 'advanced java' like the import statement, as it differs from modules/interfaces/variables/functions.

Simulating in Higher Education

Vorteile:

We teach simulation for a short period and students need software that is powerful yet easy to use as a beginner (and we are talking very small Discrete Event Simulation). Besides the need to fill in some "programming code" (students' wording) to access elements in the simulation model, it is very well accepted by the students and they enjoy exploring the features. And even go further than I require for the assignment.

Nachteile:

It is like most other software: too many features and it feels a bit overwhelming to start. Would prefer (and might be even possible) if a feature could be deactivated or hidden to have the focus on the tools required to write a small model.

AnyLogic Versatility

Vorteile:

The versatility of the AnyLogic software on a wide range of industries and modeling needs. What I liked most about AnyLogic is its multi-method modeling approach, which allows users to seamlessly integrate discrete event, agent-based, and system dynamics modeling within a single platform. This flexibility has empowered me to tackle complex real-world problems with precision and depth in my research works, and aided me in exploring various scenarios and analyzing outcomes comprehensively.

Nachteile:

So far, I have not identified anything I didn't like about AnlyLogic because it has been able to serve the purpose for which I need it.

Vorteile:

User Interface, almost coding free environment!

Nachteile:

When running on a smaller screen than it can get really messy and hard to manage! There should be better screen space management!

Vorteile:

The combination of the library in allowing you to create a seamless simulation that can create projections

The controls are sometimes hard with the mouse, designing a better selection process could be helpful

Implement any logic with AnyLogic

Vorteile:

What I like most about AnyLogic is the ability to integrate machine learning using its "Alpyne" pipeline. There are many other features I appreciate about AnyLogic, such as the drag-and-drop feature, which allows me to easily model complex systems without having to hardcode the model.

Nachteile:

I think the IDE interface for writing Java code could be improved, especially the function suggestions.

Great Quality Resylts

Kommentare: It was hard getting into it but definitely worth it. I would recommend trying to master one type of simulation at a time, whatever your personal needs are. The hardest part is honestly the very beginning. But once you're feeling confident in your knowledge of anylogic, connecting the different types of simulations is a seamless process.

Vorteile:

Once the initial learning curve is surpassed, the resulting simulations are great quality products. You are able to inter connect different types of simulation into one big symbiotic project. In my personal experience, said connection has been between discrete, dynamic and agent based simulation. I am very satisfied with the results I've been able to reach.

Nachteile:

The learning curve learning the functionality of all items available in the pallet was a bit steep.

Helpful jn process optimization

Vorteile:

It is very customizable which is crucial for process optimization. We use it for a variety of situations and haven't come across a scenario we couldnt use AnyLogic for. Havent had any glitching.

Nachteile:

Nothing too troublesome, it took some time for the team to implement and get use to but not anything unreasonable

Anylogic is a great software no matter what field you're involved in.

Vorteile:

The design modelling and the ease of use and the reliablility anad accessibility and inexpensive nature.

Nachteile:

Anylogic is a pretty flawless and reliable system. there are no major faults that i have experienced

Great software for students doing discrete event simulations or agent based modelling

Vorteile:

Great for visually appealing discrete event simulations, and agent modelling. The user interface very explanatory, thats a bonus. There's also a free version which is very impressive considering the capabilities.

Nachteile:

I've been using it for less than six months but it is quite vast in its functionality, and while the user interface is simple to understand, it can be quite daunting when you initially begin to use it. Plus, I did a lot of work with python and I'm not entirely sure how robust interfacing with python would be.

AnyLogic review

Vorteile:

I liked the ease of usability and the many customization options to tailor the program to my project.

Nachteile:

I dislike how some of the features are disabled for the free trial.
