Kommentare: Remote access to thousands of tenant accounts.

Vorteile:

The software is regularly offering updates to keep up with the ever-changing demands of the self-storage industry. Their electronic signature feature has been incredibly helpful with generating move-ins by expanding our reach to customers that cannot physically come to our office. Their mobile friendly application has been a time saver and an on-the-go problem solver. As an administrator using the software I have the instant ability to customize the features as well as restrict/approve access to the software by others. From a users perspective, the many processes can be a little tricky to master at first but once they've been memorized the work-flow is very simple and easily executed.

Nachteile:

The abundance of processes can be slightly overwhelming to new users. Also, the ease of alternating between screens/processes can create confusion for the user and allow for accidental incorrect implementations.

Kommentare: Sorry to say that Storable has not been on top of improvements and service as well as the former owners.

Vorteile:

Ease of use when operating correctly. This has been a problem.

Nachteile:

Tech support has gotten slow, not very knowledgeable and they have to transfer you to an upper technician a lot. Much slower than it use to be.

Vorteile:

Sitelink is a very easy program to facilitate. It basically walks you through the procedures that are necessary to create leases and maintain the occupancy and payments.

Nachteile:

I do not have any least favorite features. Exploring and experiencing the product are what a user needs to do to be able to identify the capabilities it has to offer.

Vorteile:

The program is easy to use and teaching it to someone in person or remotely is user friendly. Mistakes can be corrected for the most part and you can always ask questions and google for information if it is needed. I love that there is a section at the beginning to learn more to get certified. When I was in the store I loved learning as much as I could.

Nachteile:

I know at one time there were secret codes, like tying units together that was supposed to come out in a book form. I understand that when you were bought out, this would not be available.

I use sitelink daily and like it but I do think there could be improvements.

Kommentare: Over all I think it is a helpful tool to have in the office. However like most things Sitelink could use some adjusting and improvements in some areas.

Vorteile:

I like the options to edit ledgers, I like that I can edit the map on sitelink web edition, I like that you can view customer receipts and invoices all on the same page.

Nachteile:

I don't like the move in process. The discount should be added at the end when payment is made. Sitelink makes it very confusing and difficult.

Sitelink is a critical part of our operations. We require it for all managed and owned locations.

Kommentare: Baring a hick up in which we lost a lot of date this year, and some bugs that came up that caused large issues from their servers, Sitelink is a vital part of our company. The ease of use from entry level manager to corporate control makes it superior to other products I have been forced to use over the years of property management. The reports and features gives all users a superior control of their business in many different ways. We do not use all the features and I am sure there is kore I could know but after 8 years of constant use I would never change.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, accuracy in editing and account management, Many features to help control the business. Helps with customer service.

Nachteile:

Long sign in times, reservation reporting is lacking and hardnto sort out. Protection / insurance editing has to be done 1 at a time and requires multiple confirmations. Even if you are an admin or owner. California late fee set up removes other automatic fees from being used. No facilities management for maintenance other than noting in unit notes that can not be tracked. You can put a unit on service but there shod be levels to automatically tell what type of service is required.

Supposed to be the best software in the industry and it is just terrible.

Kommentare: Buggy would be an understatement. And just when things calm and seem to work, the next release comes out. We have called support and were told that given things were not possible, and when we told them that we can do it, we were just hoping for an easier way, they ask us to teach them. The software is difficult to use at best.

Vorteile:

We have other facilities that use this software, the only benefit of using it is consistency within our organization.

Nachteile:

They force updates, all untested without the ability to opt-out. This is mission critical software, it is industry standard to offer "long-term-support" versions, as well as a beta channel. SiteLink forces beta versions on all of their customers without any recourse when the software stops working.

An Awesome Experience!

Kommentare: We have been using Sitelink Web Edition and Corporate Control Centre for years. When they said they had become merchant service providers, we were immediately intrigued by the idea. We thought we'd give it a try with a handful of new acquisitions, I mean - why not? We had such a positive experience that we chose to move all our merchant services to Sitelink.

Vorteile:

The biggest advantage of using Sitelink and Sitelink Merchant Services is the seamless usage. What I mean about that is...when a transaction doesn't record properly in Sitelink, or on a tenants card, there is no ability for finger pointing between Management system and Merchant supplier, no back and forth - Sitelink just handles it. And I must say, we haven't even had any instances of that - our prior Management System and Merchant supplier, would send us back and forth so many times that we would just give up and manually record or refund to make it right. We've seen a lot of systems over the years, as we acquire and take on previous systems and convert them. We now convert to Sitelink - Day One! We also smile to ourselves when we learn a selling location is already ON Sitelink , we know our lives are going to be so much easier. The Sitelink team are top-notch, they not only know what THEY are doing, the are not satisfied until WE know what we are doing - quite a feat for a technology company! Unsurpassed!! As far as conversions go - Sitelink does it all - easy peasy!

Nachteile:

The only Con I can think of for Merchant Services is the paperwork to get through! I have to say this was a complaint of mine on our previous suppliers as well, however. Really, there is no different, but once it's all signed up - it's just a sit back and wait until the debit machines are delivered, charge them up and plug them in - it's just that easy!

And, our OneSupport, our in-house service for software and merchant processing under 1 roof sets up your merchant accounts in SiteLink. The "Hub" edition to Sitelink Web edition is a joke. Really. It has almost no functionality.

Kommentare: Web edition overall could be excellent software. They switched over all of their credit card processing to themselves, and it was not planned out well. It's like doing a research project to figure out the receivables as they do not generate any reports. After 24 years, we are moving on to another software that can keep up with our current computers and operating systems. If you do not plan to upgrade your computers or processors, go for it and "stay back in time."

Vorteile:

I don't. The Hub is difficult to maneuver and has minimal features. You could not run your storage business with just the Hub features.

Nachteile:

You can only really look up a current customer. Renting out to customers, you need to jump through hoops. You have no access to change unit costs or reach critical components required to run your business. I feel their web-based software works great, but unfortunately, Sitelink does not keep up with current computers. We switched to Macs, but you can only use the dysfunctional Hub for a Mac. We purchased two Microsoft surface pros-but one cannot be downloaded. Keep up with the times, Sitelink. You are a dinosaur.

Kommentare: SiteLink aids in effortlessly running the day to day business operations that I am responsible for. It's simply amazing! I have used its layout to structure my daily activities.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and walks you step by step through moving customer in and out. It divides different storage functions into easy to use sections that anyone can learn. The customer service is great and they are quickly available when called upon. Overall, I have to say that SiteLink is amazing!

Nachteile:

The website capabilities seem to not work with most Mac users. There is also no way to do move ins online, from our website, like there are with making payments.

Kommentare: Overall system is very robust. Allows for lots of customization which is incredibly helpful, especially for reporting. Once you understand how the system works you're golden.

Layout . Combersomb and hard to navigate Presentation is a bit confusing after logging in. If you don't know where you need to be you'll spend hours searching. No clear direction for various tasks .

We have applied customer feedback from our more than 14,000 users to build the most intuitive, easy-to-use interface. For example, we avoid drop down menus and clearly label options on the home screen by task, such as "Move in," "Payments," etc. If there is a more user-friendly way, we would love to know. New managers tell us after a few minutes of going through SiteLink, they find what they need, and more. The self-storage business not only has its quirks, but few if any operators run their shop the same way. Happy with Web Edition

Vorteile:

I feel like it's easy to use. Particularly the move in/move out and transfer process. I think the credit card process is easy to use too. If ever I have a problem the folks at SiteLink are always ready to help.

Nachteile:

That it's not available on my mobile device. I think it would be beneficial to have this Web Edition available on a mobile device to be able to access when not in office.

Amazing Software!

Vorteile:

I like the fact the there are so many other companies that integrate with this software. This means you can add tons of features of your choosing very easily!! The task list is also a HUGE help in running my facility. It keeps me up to date on everything I need to do!

Nachteile:

The technical support is great at times and horrible at others. Some of the people are just very rude and act like you're bothering them. I feel like for the amount I pay for the software I should get top notch customer service.
