Useful Software, but could use some Improvement

Kommentare: Overall, the experience has been good so far. I'm working with the RegFox Help Desk folks to create a landing page for a series of events so that we can keep individual events separate for reporting needs, but together in one location for our customers who may be looking for an event in Atlanta while another customer is looking for the San Francisco event.

Vorteile:

One of my favorite options is the back-end automation feature where we can pre-schedule registration confirmations, reminders, and thank you emails. Our department is very busy and to be able to set these up in advance is super helpful so that the communication, which is required, is going to go out without have to go back and handle that work manually and in another software program. I do really like the customization of registration pages; this allows me to collect the info. that I need for my specific programming up front, and not have to follow-up with each customer to secure that info.

Nachteile:

The customization is a good option, but there is a con to it as well. Building templates for our organization to ensure that each program has the same basic requirements seems to be a challenge since each department uses the platform a little bit differently. For me, it's imperative that I include a Q & A section during registration so that I do not have to track down that information later using emails or surveys. This piece is not needed for other events, so we're working on those templates to be better defined for the type of work each team does.

Great and Powerful Registration Tools

How easy it was to set up my event - and not be charged until the first person paid!

I don't think it's a con - but Reg Fox rules can be a learning curve.

Kommentare: Overall regfox is a solid system. We can create events in several different ways and can run a variety of reports.

Vorteile:

Regfox helps us manage our annual conference of nearly 300 people and our weekly events. Paid events payment processing is fast and easy. Events are easy to set up with a small learning curve.

Nachteile:

Because we're a nonprofit that runs event year- round it would be nice to keep and analyze more information on registrants, for example linking events that a particular registrant has attended and record and link event registrants attending repeated events.

Effective Platform & Excellent Customer Service

Kommentare: Overall, the system was easy to understand, and implement, but the lack of 24/7 customer service can be harmful to those events that are held on weekends. Additionally, for large institutions, set up and communication between representatives at RegFox can be somewhat slower than expected, which can present a challenge when you're on a tight deadline. However, the customer service (does not include the rep) during the week is phenomenal-- they are knowledgeable and speedy. The platform, once you get used to it, is easy to understand, but some of the conditional triggers are a bit clunky and hard to understand if you're not familiar with these types of systems.

Vorteile:

Amazing customer service through the chat-- I had multiple situations where I needed fast answers, and the customer service team was knowledgeable, prompt, and accurate. The system is fairly easy to use if you're tech savvy, but if you're not, it might take a little bit of time. Otherwise, the system is straightforward and dynamic, offering a variety of options to suit everyone's needs. They are one of the few, if not the only one, that offers the ability to offer signable, verifiable waivers (instead of a terms of service checkbox). For registration, getting devices connected is super simple. Excellent product!

Nachteile:

Some of the reps take a little bit more time than I'd like to respond to emails and queries. They have only one team member to specific departments, which means some processes for institutions may take a little bit longer (but if you're not in a rush, that's not a deal breaker).

Kommentare: Customer service during pandemic unfortunately drove us away. While every business we interacted with gave us full refunds for event-related cancellations made at the start of the pandemic (spring 2020), RegFox was the one exception. As a NPO, we decided it was our responsibility to support our community during such troubling times, by providing full participant refunds on events we had to cancel. RegFox refused to refund fees we had paid them on the registrations that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, thus positioning our organization in a net-loss. Months later, we were contacted by [sensitive content hidden], and told to book a call; “we want to hear from you; what can we do to make this right and get you back as a customer?” Optimistic about their outreach, we explained our situation again and communicated that our only request was for the registration “admin” fees be refunded to us, and they declined. As a result, we have found other lower cost registration options that do not cost a per-registration fee.

Vorteile:

It is easy to manage multiple events, with landing pages, easily-customizable registration forms, and communications

Nachteile:

Sub-par customer service that over-promised and under-delivered.

First time user to set up RegFox registration links

Kommentare: It has been a very good experience! The final published products for two of the upcoming events I am organizing look really good and if I need to go back in to edit for any reason even after it's published, I can still do that.

Vorteile:

I really like the features it has to set up a registration page for an event in the way you want it to look. You can add things to it and delete what you don't need. It's easy to use (once I got the hang of it, I am not tech savvy at all). It was recommended for me to use by a good friend of mine and I am so glad I trusted her recommendation! I plan to use it to set up all future event registrations for the organization I work for as a Youth Director.

Nachteile:

The only thing I had trouble with was when I published a page so that it was activated, I couldn't figure out how to make a copy of all the pages so I could put a hard copy in my file folder or at least save a PDF version of it. I am "old school" in regards to still liking a paper copy of what projects I am working on to keep in actual files! And PDF files, I can save on my computer.

Feedback on conference registration

Product is great, but Customer Service is better!

Kommentare: When I needed customer service and requested information, I received a response in a quick and timely manner. Not wanting to type a book, I had over-simplified my question at the start and was given answers that I knew would not work for me or that I had already tried. On my second attempt, I listed more details to my questions and the resulting response from customer service was "let's talk" followed by a link to sign up for times to converse/screen share. Because of some spiritual warfare, minutes before I was to connect with RegFox to answer my questions, the system went down, but [sensitive content hidden] was kind enough to send a quick email stating the issue and that she would connect with me when the system was back up and running. Within 10 minutes RegFox was back up and I was connected to [sensitive content hidden]. Thankfully she was able to find me the quick solution I needed.

Vorteile:

Customer Service: I had spent a good number of days programming my first registration and utilized several RegFox videos as well as videos made by others in my parent organization about how to do certain specific items within a registration. My eyes were almost crossed with my looking at the actions page and which ones were working as expected and which were not. I encountered a place where I wanted to limit the number of sessions one type of registrant could select. I figured there had to be an easier way than to have to write actions for each of the 5 session options. I did struggle for a few days trying to find out how to connect with a representative from RegFox, until finally my eyes actually focused on the little chat button on the bottom right. Once I spotted that, customer service was wonderful. Even despite the power outage at the time of my call with [sensitive content hidden]. There have also been several emails since publishing just asking if things are going well. I was told by my co-worker that the customer service is wonderful and I totally agree. Thank you.

Nachteile:

The actions page is a wonderful tool and it can be very helpful. I especially like the ability to change the order of the actions with a click and drag option. What might be helpful is a way to print or create a document that lists all the actions. Some way to see them as a whole. This may be out there, but I just copied the data and dumped it into a word document to see the group of actions as a whole. It was there that I found I had duplicated several actions.

AMAZING SOFTWARE & BETTER THAN OUTSTANDING TECH SUPPORT!!!

Kommentare: Working with this company has truly been amazing!! I consider myself "old school" so sometimes when working with new software it can be pretty frustrating when you don't have a reference manual. However, RegFox has an area on their site for help that is so very user-friendly, more times than not, I can figure out my challenge or the information I need very easily. They are also very open to suggestions for upgrading the system. One time I was working with a major payroll company and discovered a technical programming error that kept them from being legally compliant. It took a couple of weeks for them to finally believe me, even after all the proof I had. RegFox is the exact opposite. The customer service is so amazing! One day the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] of the company even wrote me and thanked me for my input. She didn't add her title, but I quickly was able to find out who she was. If you need registration software, you should use this company! I will definitely recommend this software to other companies. For the price, it's AMAZING!

Vorteile:

The overall ease of use. Regarding specific features, there are too many amazing features to list here. Overall, the software is pretty easy to figure out, but even if you can't, or don't want to spend time trying to figure it out, the tech support staff is always ready to help, and don't refer you to an area of their system to review, listen to, etc. I found it fun to look through the system and learn about it. However, there are some things that don't jump out at you right away, and that's where the tech support people are so amazing. They even have someone that works weekends. The tech support team is always positive and helpful. They are a joy to work with.

Nachteile:

Honestly can only think of one thing, and it's minor. There's a nice feature where you can send emails out to the Registrants. You are able to send the communication immediately, or you can program it and send it at a later time and/or date. I wish there was a way to add a cc or bcc or check a box for the sender to receive a copy. When I realized I couldn't send a copy to myself, I wrote them and recommended that they add that option in the next upgrade. Almost immediately I received a response back saying they appreciated the input and definitely would submit my input.

Kommentare: We have been using the regfox software for roughly 14 months now and the Webconnex team have been exceptional in every aspect..... The Webconnex team are always pushing the boundaries to improve the software based on the most important feature the customer. I not only recommend Webconnex to my colleagues in the industry but make a point to refer then as they have changed our whole online registration process resulting in a huge growth in our online revenue and as a tennis club/camp operator that allows us to spend more time on the court while still taking care of our customers 24/7.

Vorteile:

The simplicity and exceptional functionality of the software 3.The flexibility to customize the registrations to our needs 4.First class look and professional templates 5.It is very reliable.... this is a big point of contention with software that is out there as alot of similar products are unreliable and do not have the support staff when problems arise and that hurts your reputation and not theirs. 6. the new social media share 7.Most of all the continuos upgrades to the software making it better each and every day and the teams willingness to listen to their customers on areas of improvement.

Nachteile:

I would like folders on the new platform like the old one to assist with organization. I know this feature is coming but would be nice to have today.

Very pleased after our first major convention completed

Kommentare: We have a membership of about 11,000 of which 400-700 attend out annual convention each year. We are now using RegFox for smaller local events as well.

Vorteile:

We have a very complex convention format. The software is very flexible and easy to adapt to our need, plus the logic capabilities are very good. At very low cost, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] set up our first draft of the registration form and we were good to go after that. Couple this with the overall low cost of the software (we are paying less for credit card fees and software, less than we used to pay for credit card fees alone).

Amazing Platform

Kommentare: This platform was previously used for smaller events but they knocked it out of the park for our event with well over 500 attendees.

Vorteile:

I used this software for a large scale expo with my company and everything went amazing. The software is so easy to use and the staff is beyond helpful and supportive. I would partner with them any time, any day.

Nachteile:

Nothing. I loved everything about this platform. New upgrades are happening regularly which make the product better and better.

Great System- Will Continue to Use

Kommentare: We had been trying to find a system that was easy for our event attendees to use while also not forcing us to track down payments, and RegFox helps us accomplish exactly what we need. Some of the tools take a bit of getting used to, but the customer support has helped us overcome our hurdles. We really like the automatic payment charge feature, which allows us to get a deposit initially and charges the balance at a later date. This helps some of our families that don't have enough money to pay outright when they sign up, but it ensures we get the money they said they would get to us. We no longer have to track down payments, which saves us countless hours of work. Though the price can get steep for events with a higher cost, the time (and thus cost) saved on the part of our admin team is worth it.

WebConnex has made life easy for our organization through RegFox

Kommentare: Outstanding. In previous events, we heard so many complaints about the registration process until we finally discovered RegFox.

Vorteile:

We love how many custom options can be included in the registration process. We used brownpapertickets.com previously and were very limited on adding any additional details to the ticket price. This product is robust enough to take on a complex event with multiple offerings.

Nachteile:

The initial setup took a little while to learn. I had to play around with it for quite some time to ensure it was fully functional.

Great DIY registration software - perfect for small to medium-sized businesses

Vorteile:

Gives you amazing options for customizing every aspect of your event's tickets, and the registration page. We used to use Eventbrite, and this blows it out of the water.

Nachteile:

The integrations could be better. Especially when it comes to Facebook tracking pixels. The way it's set up now, if someone clicks an FB ad with conversion tracking and registers for a different event, it still counts as a conversion for that ad.

Kommentare: Managing event registration data can be a nightmare. Regfox helped me solve this problem in one beautiful platform.

Vorteile:

I have been using Regfox for my event registration and surveys every month for the past 3 years and I love the platform! The user interface is very clean and intuitive. Templates make creating events super easy. What I like most about the platform though is the analytics. All analytics I need is in one clean page witrh an option to download the data for my own use.

Nachteile:

I hope to see a more robust calendar integration.

Kommentare: Many, but mostly flexibility to create the forms they way I want. I also appreciate the robust analytics and excellent technical support.

- It's super easy to design the registration form and confirmation. - Flexibility with reordering or adding fields - Friendly customer service, and I appreciate the quick, thorough responses! - Robust analytics, which are so helpful; I look forward to seeing the results of our campaign. - Affordable for a non-profit organization, such as ours - I could go on!

Nachteile:

Just one thing so far, which is that the font color in the confirmation is inconsistent, and I have tried to highlight the text and choose the color. I still get gray and black text, which must be due to the editor. Do I really need to know HTML to fix this? Should be easier. Other than that, I don't have anything to complain about.
