Kommentare: The system has been easy to setup and use and manage by people with a wide range of technical skills. Volunteer acceptance has been high and feedback positive. It has enabled our organisations to connect through a digital platform and connect with new and existing volunteers in a manner which suits their lifestyle.

Vorteile:

The Volunteer Impact module in the Better impact platform ticks many boxes for core volunteer management. It allows the volunteers to easily login to a portal and manage their schedules and opportunities. Good management of qualifications and expiry dates like child protection and first aid. For event setup there are 3 or 4 different types of schedules that can be setup to handle the vast majority of cases. Volunteers can be auto acepted to the event or reviewed. Wait lists can be created and event items hidden when they reach capacity. The system can also use qualifications to show or hide certain events from people who are or are not qualified for the event item. It also has the functionality to facilitate online training and learning with a simple module based approach. From a volunteer management point of view it has good visibility of the onboarding process of new volunteers and easy customisation of the application forms. Application forms can have custom fields and custom grouping of fields. Custom fields can be free text and dropdowns and other types as well. It comes with the flexibility of having three unique application forms feeding into the system. There is a strong API function to access the volunteer data and integrate this into other systems. Another great feature for new users is the full functionality of the trial for 30 days.

Nachteile:

You really have to drill down really deep to find any challenges with this product. It is steadily evolving balancing the desire for all functionality from end users with maintaining its ease of use. If we are looking at small things the application form does not have depencies between fields for example if dropdown 1 is value A then don't show text field 2. There are a few small enhancements I would like to see in the learning management component but as this is not the core strength it is expected that over time this will be improved as it is used more. This product can be up and running in test environment the same day as configuration and fine tuning over the next few days

World's number one volunteer management tool - does everything what others do in a very good price

Kommentare: Our goal was to recruit, screen test, engage and retain our volunteers for an event that we were organising all in one place and Volunteer impact has done an excellent job for us brining excellent value to the business.

Vorteile:

I simply became a fan of Volunteer impact after comparing it with others in the market Volunteer impact by better impact is the best volunteer management platform which comes at a great price that no one in the market can beat. They charge per volunteer which is also great. The mobile app is amazing and we love the scheduling and attendance tracking feature within the platform helped us a lot.

Nachteile:

The focus of the company is only on charities and not-for-profit organisations although it does work for all other organisations, I think the company should diversify its personas to target as some other industries can gain benefits from such an amazing platform.

Good for keeping track of volunteers that can help with specific projects

Vorteile:

I love that we can have volunteers sign up for very specific projects as opposed to just general help. We do work with boats which might mean working with a group of kids learning to sail or helping step a mast. It's nice to have a specific arena to reach out to and not have to worry a mix of folks who might not feel comfortable helping with certain things.

Nachteile:

It's a little tough to figure out email communication. Sometimes I struggle to remember how to notify people of something and by selecting one option, it removes them from a list before I can email them. It's fine once you figure out but was a decent learning curve.

The product is amazing for the price

Kommentare: It is an excellent choice for charities, not-for-profits or any other businesses to have a VMS that can be highly customisable and offers excellent services.

Vorteile:

1. The pricing is the best as they offer exactly the same product for which you will pay 50x extra than others2. Great customer support3. Easy to use and great UX/UI

Nachteile:

The only one I can think of was it is limited for volunteers, for event category or paid staff there are no options

Kommentare: My experience was good, the platform was great, only the cost was why we cancelled our subscription.

Vorteile:

user friendly, meets the needs of volunteer management.

Nachteile:

The cost was rather high for us as a charitable organization. We ended up cancelling our subscription as another platform offered the same thing customized for free.
