Kommentare: Better control of our security systems

Vorteile: It is an all in one web based solution for security in our HOA that allows us to control vehicle entry, swipe card entry to fitness center and tennis courts. Data is accessible by HOA admin from home or office. No need to interface with the gate via modem to make database changes. Sophisticated tool with lots of options!

Nachteile: Users have trouble setting up profiles and maintaining guest lists. We have to go through vendor to get answers from software developers about how the fields work. Unsophisticated users are homeowners who get confused by settings and choices they must make when setting up guest lists. They leave info blank that should be required -- important things like emails for password recovery and telephone numbers to be called when visitors arrive who are not on their guest lists. I don't know what the gate guards see on their screens, but they make errors because they can search different ways for a resident name and sometimes pick the wrong record. We had a dumb system before and this one is sometimes too smart for our unintuitive users.

"Very User Unfriendly System, no support from Vendor"

Kommentare: I on numerous occasions called CapSure to get assistance. They refused to return my calls. I recommended that they come to a board meeting to answer residents questions, they did not. We still have issues with the system where vendors were allowed in one week but not the next because they were not on our list. Submitted a list for New Year's Eve and still got calls from the gate that they were not on the list. When ever there is an issue, they will blame the residents.
