Wonderful Vendor Partnership - HospitalPortal
Kommentare: Excellent vendor relationship - -extremely responsive and customer service oriented. I highly recommend HospitalPortal (and have) to my colleagues in health care who are looking for an Intranet portal solution.
Vorteile: As a non-technical staff member (I'm the Employee Communication Manager -- reporting into HR -- not an I.T. staff member), this software is fairly easy to learn and utilize. With a few quick clicks I can upload documents, build new pages, and edit existing content. The search function is very robust and helps our providers and clinicians quickly locate needed forms, policies, and other documentation required for patient care. The build in document control feature is a key feature for our clinical policies and documents.
Nachteile: Some of the behind the scenes administrative functions are not intuitive to me, but that is more than likely because I am not used to working in a database environment. Support is always extremely helpful and responsive to me whenever I need assistance.

Overall, we really love our new intranet! It is easy to use and navigate.

Vorteile: I really like that editing and updating pages is easy. We have so many different departments that each have unique needs -- and having each of those departments trained to update their own sections of our intranet is a major component of why we chose HospitalPortal. Everyone has ownership in keeping things current, and no one person has to be the "keeper" of the intranet. The other thing that I really like is how responsive the support folks are! Anytime I have a question or issue -- they have been incredibly helpful and follow up quickly.
Nachteile: There are a few kinks that can be frustrating (editing text colors & sizes seems to hiccup a lot), and there are some functions that I would like to be added. The on-call schedule took a while for folks to catch onto, and it is generally great, but can be confusing to work with on last-minute changes.
