Great for new agency with a smaller budget.

Kommentare: Agency matrix has been great for our Agency. In the beginning they were very attentive to our needs and budget friendly. Throughout the years they have added more options to custom fit your needs.

Vorteile:

When we started our agency they were also relatively new so we felt like they took the time to truly understand our needs.

Nachteile:

Not having folders under attachments too easily fine something when needed.

It was pretty easy to use, and add/update data

Nachteile:

It takes some getting use to the downloading of data process, I wish it had an e-signature component.

Super Un-user friendly - poor support really zero support -

Kommentare: I have been with Agency matrix for 15 years - I recently switched mainly because the support once ZYwave purchased went to Zero - really if you don't believe me try calling them 1-800-456-2074 or email them support@zywave you'll get mothing - The other company sealed the deal today we had a issue with the PL rater and they remoted in in less than 5 mins corrected it on the first call - I just called matrix and canceled

Vorteile:

it WAS ( as in past tense) in the past a good basic system

Nachteile:

The support its non existent, you email support nothing - call one one picks up you leave a message and zero - ( I guess thats what the Z in Zywave stands for Zero Support)

Great Value and Solid Features

Kommentare: Overall I have been pleased and enjoy how quickly I can access items and information.

Vorteile:

I like the value of the product and the fact that they won't jump my rates 34% without warning like I got from one of the biggest in the industry. They are also responsive and are continually improving their product. They recently upgrade their acord forms where I can quickly create and issue a new COI with multiple policies quicker than I could on EPIC.

Nachteile:

At first I thought it wasn't as great for commercial business, but over the past few months I've been with them they have made enhancements that have been very helpful.

Agency Matrix is crucial to growth

Kommentare: So far exceeded expectations. Almost made a mistake buying a different product that was offering all but delivering nothing except an expensive 2-3 months. Luckily I was able to extract myself and get Agency Matrix.

Vorteile:

Agency Matrix has been around for a few years. I had been very loyal to prior product but it became clear it was not keeping up with new technology. The new product, while a bit pricey, it is more technologically advanced and comes with training and training videos. Very intuitive.

Nachteile:

Some imbedded products are best to use outside sources, like the texting and telephony option.

Kommentare: Need more training. Need webinars and conferences.

Vorteile:

This is a great starter system and really good for a small operation.

Nachteile:

The training and support. 1. The videos are a great idea but they are outdated. 2. There should be training paths or modules designed for AMS beginners, Intermediate and advanced users. 3. They should have training webinars and have users join based on the area of interest. Renewal COI automation is missing.

Worst Customer Service Experience

Kommentare: It did help us improve our workflow however I cannot stress the fact that the Customer Service is one of the worst I have seen. We waited 2 months one time just to have someone get back to us to add additional services!

Vorteile:

Certificates of Insurance emailed directly with Signature, getting better with commercial policies

Nachteile:

Customer Service needs to improve. Sometimes I am up to 1 hour on hold or get no replies back. Emailed them several times and it takes months to get a response. Also, we have to do our commissions manually as the system has a horrible invoicing operation that messes up the commissions. Something that should take minutes takes up to a day.

Vorteile:

Nothing, the system is lousy and way too complicated to use. They have integrated a bunch of "stuff" in the policy coverage sections and policy type sections that is just ridiculous and you have to wade through a bunch of junk to find anything you need. The system has almost no redeeming qualities.

Nachteile:

Everything. It's a mess of useless crap that you have to sort through to make anything useful and even then it is set up in the most unfriendly way I think it could be.

FOR INSTANCE, YOU PREPARE A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR A CLIENT, WHO WANTS IT SENT DIRECTLY TO HIM. YOU SELECT THE CERTIFICATE, HIT ACTION, AND THERE IS NO OPTION TO EMAIL TO THE CLIENT, ONLY TO ENTER AN EMAIL (UNLESS YOU ENTERED AN EMAIL WHEN YOU NAMED THE COI). SO, YOU CAN SELECT EMAIL AND AN OPTION COMES UP TO CC THE CLIENT. YOU CAN THEN SELECT AND COPY THE CLIENT'S EMAIL, PASTE IT IN THE SEND TO BOX, THEN DESELECT CC THE CLIENT, AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO. IT'S AN EFFECTIVE WORKAROUND, BUT IT'S JUST CUMBERSOME. THE PROGRAM SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FOR A SMALLISH, PRIMARILY PERSONAL LINES AGENCY. THE TOOLS TO SERVICE A DIVERSE COMMERCIAL BOOK WITH MULTIPLE STANDARD A SURPLUS LINES CARRIERS JUST AREN'T THERE.

Vorteile:

EASY TO STORE CLIENT INFORMATION, CLIENT SEARCH WORKS WELL. THE MASTER LIST FOR CERTIFICATE HOLDERS WORKS PRETTY WELL, UNLESS YOU TRY TO TIE HOLDERS IS INDIVIDUAL INSUREDS. EMAILING CERTIFICATES WORKS FAIRLY WELL, EXCEPT IT DOESN'T SAVE A LIVE COPY OF THE EMAIL, SO YOU CAN'T RESEND A COPY TO THOSE CLIENTS THAT CLAIM THEY NEVER GOT THEIR COPY.

Nachteile:

FOR COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT FLOW WELL. INFORMATION HAS TO BE ENTERED IN SEVERAL PLACES, ENTERING IN ONE SPOT DOESN'T FILL THE SAME INFORMATION ACROSS MULTIPLE SCREENS. ACORD FORMS AREN'T UPDATED AUTOMATICALLY, IN PRACTICAL USE THEY ARE JUST A PLACE TO STORE COPIES. IF YOU SELL A POLICY THAT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD, IT TAKE YEARS TO KEY THE INFORMATION IN, AND SOME THINGS JUST CAN'T BE ENTERED.

Not Cloud Based as they claimt, NOT for commercial lines, slow response

Kommentare: We are growing at a rate of + 33% year over Year and we have hung in with the system since 2016 but are SO frustrated with the lack of response we are looking to leave. THe systmen IS not cloud based NO matter what they tell you in marketing literature... If you need Acord forms with signatures this is not the system for you. Buggy overall and the whole thing goes down far to often.

Vorteile:

Price... till you realize "you get what you pay for"

Nachteile:

Not for commercial. The GUI (graphical user interface) or the Screen you look at has horrible amounts of wasted space with literally NOTHING on it. a useless "tools" box dominates the "all important" right side of the screen and the accord forms ARE not cloud based. You still need to download the file, stamp your signature and upload to "attachments" meaning they are no longer in the cloud but on your PC (not good if you log in from a computer that is not yours (travel/home). The coding/development team is either overworked or just do not care about the commercial space. If you run a small sweat shop that is heavy personal lines this is ok for you. Don't buy anything above the standard package as none of the bells are worth it. IF the VP of slaes told me no totus ehte "accounting" feature as it is poor. SO we still have to double enter everything into a completly different accounting program. NOT efficient.

Love agency matrix

Long time Agency Matrix user

Kommentare: Up until the last couple of months everything was working fine but we have had a few issues since the program was updated. Hope I am not making a mistake by sticking with Agency Matrix.

Vorteile:

I can transfer info from my Applied Rater straight into Agency Matrix so I have all the information transferred when I'm ready for it.

Nachteile:

Never had any until the change over. Now we are missing some of our customers and stuff does not load as it should

Abide Agency Agency Matrix Review

Kommentare: Overall it has served us well. With each update is a new learning curve for staff. I have been using since 2012.

Vorteile:

Easy to use to impute and find information.

Nachteile:

Geared for personal lines Agencies and not Agencies that do Commercial. Certificate process needs a lot more work. Fees and Taxes do not stay in totals with any edits to policy details. Text messaging is very minimal for the monthly fee charged.

Kommentare: I'm ok with Agency. Just ok. Not over the moon.

Vorteile:

At the time I purchased, the price was very attractive.

Nachteile:

Using the Acord forms section is MUCH TOO CUMBERSOME. Sometimes you can't edit a certificate you've made in the past week, sometimes you can. the whole thing takes much more time than it should. System seems to go down a lot without any real explaination.

Great Agency System!

Use this software daily for my workfflows

Vorteile:

I love the automations. Love how easy it is to process most things and easy to teach my users. Love the reports and built in pivot.

Nachteile:

Need to fix the task screen. The screen in the latest update is complicated. Commissions structure is annoying and the fact that it is a percent of a percent is hard. ACORD needs to better fill out.

FROM ACCUTRAC TO MATRIX

Kommentare: NO PROBLEMS, AND WE HAVE NOTICED A GREATER EFFICIENCY IN OUR OPERATION AND A BETTER ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT MATRIX IS THE OPTIONS THE USER HAS IN LOOKING UP CUSTOMERS. ALSO, THERE ARE SO MANY REPORTS THAT CAN BE GENERATED TO HELP TRACK THE CYCLICAL NATURE OF THE BUSINESS.

Nachteile:

I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO CLOSE OUT DAILY REPORTS BASED ON WORK DAY HOURS, RATHER THAN A 24 HOUR PERIOD.

Vorteile:

Cheaper than competition, but you get what you pay for!

Nachteile:

The system is not reliable and its down a few times a week. There is zero support when you point out bugs in this system and updates/patches are released on the fly during business hours without any sort of testing.
