Die einzige Nachteile, die ich gefunden habe, dass der Software nicht genug möglichkeiten für individuelle Training.

Mindbody Application

Kommentare: I have only experienced Mindbody as a user, but am close with clients who use it as well. from a user standpoint is is great. but for clients can sometimes be finicky and is pricy.

Vorteile:

The simplicity and user friendly app available on phones.

Nachteile:

Mindbody is quite pricy for clients to have an account with.

Mindbody is not for Small Studios - Don't waste your money.

Kommentare: Mindbody was great when I first opened my business over 10 years ago. However, I would not recommend it now to any small business. Mindbody pulled fees out of my account for a studio in Texas that I did not own that had a similar name. Thousands of dollars were taken out and it took months for the money to be received back into my account after their error. I had to call daily to get updates on my overcharged account.

Vorteile:

It was easy for my clients to book classes on the APP.

Nachteile:

Small businesses were quickly at a disadvantage to franchises. They had the ability to pay for ads and promos. The APP was continually full of competitors offering big deals. Many small studios including mine eventually left Mindbody to software companies that included an APP for individual studios only. It created customer loyalty.

If you care about your business, stay away from them

Vorteile:

there is nothing worth for anyone to pay for Mindbody. They are big, they dont care about you little money every month. They have the good tech focusing on to make their review looks good but not doing they suppose to do.

Nachteile:

Their management is very sloppy. techs are spoiled. Nobody care about their business. if you really care about yours, stay away from this damn site

Overall VERY Disappointed.

Kommentare: So far I have only been with Mindbody for 6 months. And it is a nightmare.

Vorteile:

I like that they had a marketplace with other business', and that you can run a new client special that people can easily see.

Nachteile:

I switched from wellness living to mindbody in January of this year. I thought it would make my life easier, but it has done quite the opposite. First off may I start with the fact that mindbody allows you to set up late/no show fees but does not charge the customer automatically. I would manually have to go in and do that myself. Also, the fact that they must be in a contract for them to even store a credit card to charge is ridiculous to me. Also, every time I call for help, I am told I must do everything myself in front of a laptop, half the time people spend forever trying to figure out what’s the issue and then just never solve it and send me a bunch of emails on step by step how to do it myself. Not very convenient. Another issue I have is that all my emails that get sent out for campaigns and advertising just go to all my clients spam folders. Which defeats the purpose because they can never see them, and apparently you must have a domain email instead of a Gmail for this to even be reversed. Having all my advertising emails go to client’s spam folder is HUGE and is super bad for the business. Their only advice is to buy a domain email, which Is much too late for my business to change my email now. OR to ask every individual client to add the email I have as a contact, which there is no easy way to do. You think oh just send them all an email to ask them. Oh, wait they still wouldn’t be able to see it. I also created a new client form that I wanted people to be required to sign just once for the remainder of their visits, and apparently, I would have to individually send it to ALL MY EXISTING CLIENTS for them to sign it. Which once again is a ridiculous request. To be honest I am highly disappointed with the software switch so far, and as a business owner I can't say I’m sure that I would recommend it. It has not at all been convenient for me, I must figure out everything on my own and every time I call for an issue I am placed on hold for an hour with the situation and then I get sent emails on how to fix it, and then I just never end up figuring it out. I think I spend even more of my time as an owner on the phone with customer service than I did with my last software, which is really disappointing. 90% of the time I get the answer from customer service, that they don’t know what the issue is. And I am like, well I don’t either considering I am just the owner of my own business? Then they just send me steps on how to fix it on their best guess of what the issue is. I don’t even see the point in customer service at this point.

When it works, it's great

Kommentare: This software has literally 100% of the features that I need out of a software to run my business smooth and efficiently, but I would kill for all those features to work closer to 90% of the time for the price I pay for it.

The Worst Software Service Company!!

Kommentare: I am stunned to see even one positive review of this software and the company. We had the worst possible experience; nothing worked as promised. Customer service was rarely able to fix any of the issues we dealing with. We went from a completely booked schedule prior to MB, to a couple of appointments per day, almost all of which were booked over the phone. We lost thousands of dollars per month because of this software!!!! Our clients were so frustrated and the staff were beside themselves. After 4 months of trying to make this work for us, we finally gave up because NOTHING was fixed. To top it all off, we had to go with another platform and MB will not let us out of our contract even though we had such terrible experience, AND they won't let us drop down to a lower cost package even though we are no longer using them. We are stuck paying almost $1000 per month for their premium package that is not being used. I literally have never experiences such a complete and total disaster. We are now having to pay for two software platforms, MindBody, which is unusable, and then the one that actually works! BEWARE of this company!!!!

NOTHING, they are a disaster! Not a single thing worked as promised. We lost thousands of dollars per month!!

Nachteile:

Customer service is abysmal. It takes 10 phone calls to find the one person who might be able to help, but then the fix doesn't work the next day. Onboarding, our guy missed our first two onboarding calls and then had the nerve to say, well you never took advantage of your onboarding. THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK as promised.

Kommentare: Awful and not fair. Ive spent 135 a month and I'm not using it. I've tried to cancel now they say i have this month and next month because i didn't respond fast enough to a email

I asked to cancel several times. Because I was not getting any leads .a very expensive booking system

Nachteile:

I was on market place and didn't get any new leads . And couldn't cancel I'm still trying to cancel.

Good experience, very user friendly

Kommentare: I have used Mindbody many times, I have used it as a consumer looking for classes and studios, and I haven't been using the service as a fitness professional. But as a consumer my experience has been very positive, it has allowed me to know about studios that I wouldn't known other wise. I can schedule and change my class easily

It is very easy to schedule and very easy to cancel appointments, I like the idea of different categories of fitness classes and activities that allows you to filter per interest and distance

Nachteile:

There is nothing I can point out as negative, it is a very easy to use, seld explanatory amnd easy to navegate scheduling tools for fitness, yoga and other related activities

Stay away from MindBody Online

Kommentare: While the software design is lovely. Everything about the company, getting your own data from the company, how they run, and how they operate are absolutely horrendous and unethical.

Nachteile:

Their lack of ethics, stealing from their clients by advertising their own products to your client base, the u reliability of the app and scheduler, the unreliability of payment processing, the additional fees from payment processing, the costs, the customer service, gaslighting customers and [sensitive content hidden] to avoid taking responsibility for their failures, etc

My goto app for searching classes that are available for the time that I have carved out!

Kommentare: MindBody is my go-to app for seeing what is available in local classes. It is also my go-to app when traveling; when I find a few hours, I can use it for self-care. I have explored many courses I would never have considered without using MindBody as my primary search. More minor business schedules do not populate a standard Google search, so I always use MindBody first.

Vorteile:

I love that I can see many types of classes available during a time slot that I have available for self-care. My schedule is always shifting, and self-care time slots overlap with other obligations. MindBody shares what's happening now and in the future, allows me to explore options and book classes, and sends me a calendar link with mapping. I love this app!

Nachteile:

Having a time slot - mileage willing to travel - and available search options would be helpful.

When seeking software solutions for your company, robust and reliable support is crucial – an aspect that Mindbody sorely lacks. The system itself is plagued with numerous flaws that will inevitably disrupt your day-to-day operations. Any initial support you receive during the demo or sales phase is misleading, as it rapidly deteriorates once you've committed to their services. Mindbody's choice to hire overseas support staff results in poor communication and a distinct lack of understanding of their own system. Attempting to obtain assistance becomes a frustrating endeavor. The overseas support team often puts you on hold while they familiarize themselves with the system's issues before attempting to provide an explanation. Presently, the company fails to provide adequate training and support for the team responsible for assisting you, leaving them seemingly lost. Attempts to escalate the issue and speak with someone senior go unanswered, leaving customers waiting for hours. Unfortunately, after committing to an annual contract, you'll realize that you've invested considerable time and energy in inputting all your data into a system that proves to be unreliable. Transitioning to an alternative software solution and retraining your team becomes a daunting task, consuming a significant amount of time and effort. As a busy entrepreneur, I find it impractical to dedicate the time needed to decipher the convoluted information on their website or endure the lackluster customer service. I strongly advise exploring alternative options for your business software needs, as Mindbody may prove to be more trouble than it's worth.

Kommentare: We had a very good experience with Mindbody and stayed with them for almost 10 years. Their customer support and broad range of services worked well for our diverse training programs. In the end, we switched because more players came to market at a lower price point, with exactly the services we needed.

Vorteile:

Amazing tech support both on the phone and online. A comprehensive suite of products that can handle many different gym setups with a wide variety of services. The mobile apps are great for trainers and clients to manage their training schedules.

Nachteile:

Mindbody has become increasingly more expensive over time. The tiered approach initially worked, but you really need to pay for the premium to get all of the features - many of which were not necessary for our needs. There is value only if you can leverage the entire suite of products.

What A Great System For Spas

Kommentare: Just an amazing system, customer support, quality of the product and how easy it is to use.

Vorteile:

This program is very easy to use, we have multiple spas, and they inter contact, east to book clients, had membership and cand set any date to make it customer friendly. The have amazing customer support if you have any questions ever.

Nachteile:

There was nothing we did not like about this system. This is the only system i would ever use.

Does the job

Kommentare: I haven’t switched to something us so overall it does what I need to run my business.

Vorteile:

It’s pretty easy to use. Our area uses the Mindbody app consistently for scheduling and I like that people can find us on there.

Nachteile:

When you call for help, it takes a very long time to get your questions answered. The person who helps is offshore and sometimes is hard to understand or it’s difficult getting them to understand what you need. Mindbody is also very costly for credit card fees.

Difficult to Use but Necessary

Kommentare: It is a necessary part of the business but never worked well and has always been a software that we've tried to leave and find a better suited software for our business. My franchisees had constant complaints and often things just don't work correctly and it's difficult to get help or figure out why.

Vorteile:

Fairly easy to use the email functions and member communications functions. I was able to teach myself or use help topics to figure out how to do most things.

Nachteile:

Reporting is not easy to use or to find. The system has multiple limitations and is not user friendly. There is no "shopping cart" experience where I could resell or cross sell. Customer service is a nightmare.

Easy to use and easy to change things. Also schedule online is easy.

Nachteile:

There are 5 different ways to do the same thing.

The UI's are nice and clean. There is a lot of functionality

It could be more intuitive. The setups for reports and the calendar can be difficult. The customer service is slow.
