Vorteile:

Since Ghost is out of the picture, acronis is the top in image-based backup.

Nachteile:

It is a bit expensive compared to similar competitors.

All in one backup solution which can be opted for without the concern of CAPEX.

Kommentare: I am using Acronis for the last could of months and yet I did not face any issue in terms of working as well as their support's response time is also too good.

Vorteile:

There is no need for any minimum billing commitment for Aronis cyber cloud (if you opt for the same from Acronis resellers), as well as they offers the backups for each and every type of computing load and Operating Systemes in addition we can monitor and configure the backup from a single pan of glass (i.e. Acronis Console).

Nachteile:

We can not configure or use our own AWS S3 or Microsoft Blob as storage.

A combination of practicality and userbility

Kommentare: The software has made it easy for us to monitor our devices for viruses and malware attacks. It has also provided us with as evidence remote patch management systems.

Vorteile:

Fast customer services and ability of the software to effortlessly scan locate endpoints.

Nachteile:

Steep learning curve is the only issue with the software.

Rough time with errors, but it's not all bad.

Vorteile:

Web interface is great, server features are easily backed up, etc... Exchange backups are "ok" and usually work.

Nachteile:

I'm not getting all the notifications we have set to show failures. I'm having failures backing up Exchange 2016 mailboxes, support is VERY slow (read like... 1 week between email replies) and definitely not US based. Sometimes they can help, but I've often given up on issues because it's just too rough of an experience.

My Experience With Acronis Cyber Backup

I like that this is a scalable and an affordable business data backup software. It is very secure and guarantees business data security. Searching and retrieving/recovering backed up data is easy.

Nachteile:

With Acronis Cyber Backup, there hasn't been challenges. It is all perfect.

Excellent value

Vorteile:

We use this for workstation backups at my company and for this task it works great. The compression and deduplication is pretty good, scheduling options are very robust. I've had very few issues using it and it has been very reliable.

Nachteile:

Compression is pretty good, but not the best out there

Best solution for Disaster & Recovery

Vorteile:

The best thing about it is the different options for restoring while keeping RPOs and RTOs low.

Nachteile:

The price and that it is not so modular, there are many functionalities that we don't need because we cover them with another product and we can't stop paying for them.

A great backup solution for everything.

Vorteile:

The product is very easy to use, the everyday check of the backup is very clear. Need a specific file? No problems ! Check the backup and restore it with ease. Multiple backup location is easy too.

Nachteile:

There not much cons about acronis. The cloud plan is a bit expensive, and you can't really have a FTP plan as easy as the cloud plan but it's worth.

Kommentare: Trying to backup various systems (Windows, Android, iOS, Mac) and cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) in one platform was our goal. Acronis helped us archive this with ease and a very intuitive interface. All previous support requests we had have been answered and solved within 1-3 hours, if something could not be solved it was handed over to engineering to see if it's possible to implement the desired functionality. Pricing is very fair. You can add additional backup storages either local or at various service providers of your choice like AWS, Google, Azure, etc.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to create and manage various backup plans for different systems, cloud services and use cases. You can easily integrate Google Workspace and Microsoft365 into the platform and have a tree view of all your shared folders and email accounts. Backing up one of these is as easy as clicking a checkbox (if you already setup and defined your backup plan). All backups are by default encrypted, you can however encrypt these again. You can manage disaster recovery and have your backup stored at various service provider of your choice and/or local. Pricing per GB model is very fair and inexpensive.

Nachteile:

Might be sometimes overwhelming, as it also tries to integrate some sort of cloud protection option, however easy to ignore if you only want to use it for backups. The interface is not very mobile-friendly, highly recommend using it on PC only.

Acronis Cyber is so easy & effective

Vorteile:

It came preloaded with a portable hard driver I purchased and was super easy to install & set up. It works flawlessly and I back up my entire pc each week to ensure I don't lose files or images that can't be replaced. It doesn't take much space on my pc nor does it seem to require much memory to run effectively - you won't even realize it is there!

Nachteile:

I don't have any dislikes at this time. I've been using it for over a year and have zero complaints to register about the product.

Ideal for recovery and backup of business data

Kommentare: Acronis has been really useful since at a business level it is always under risk, since it can fail some server or be attacked in a cybernetic way that is why thanks to the implementation of this software we have backup copies of the business data more important as well as an immediate recovery of them.

Nachteile:

The pricing can be complex to navigate, and deciding which plan to subscribe to-- the per device/ per GB-- isn't obvious at first and takes a reseller with experience to lead you in the right direction.

Kommentare: It does what it says. It's a great tool if you know how to do stuffs using it.

Vorteile:

The thing I love most is the cross platform support of Acronis Backup. Also what it has to offer is incredible. Backup process is very quick and offers lot of options to select from.

Nachteile:

Setup and initial process could be somewhat complex. Also you may need to get some idea on virtual servers before proceed.

Fast restoration of the most important business data and information

Kommentare: Since the use of this software has been implemented, our information is kept secure and backed up so that in the event of any failure of one of our servers we no longer have to worry because we only have to go from anywhere to the cloud and thus restore that information to may our business continue to stand.

I love Acronis Backup, since it is a software that allows you to quickly restore commercial and personal information, it is also easy to use and beyond restoring and supporting data, it also protects them against ransomware attacks what really It gives us peace of mind because we can not only back up our data but also protect it, which is why I consider it a really complete and quite flexible software, since it offers its users a free 30-day trial, and is also compatible with Linux systems and Windows

More than upset I consider it a suggestion, it would be ideal if your interface could be improved to make it much more modern.

Simple and effective for my budget

Vorteile:

The web based console to control all my backups in one place, and not having to remote onto a machine to start a backup or create a backup profile is great. The fact that incomplete backups can resume from where they left off, and i have the option of target locations to do backups

Nachteile:

Initially the software upgrades can take quite long or not complete at all. Sometimes the seed load is seen as a separate backup, and the incremental backups take up more space than they should.

Kommentare: My overall experience with this software has been nothing but excellent. I can sleep rest assured that our back ups are completing and were able to restore if we need to.

Acronis By far the best most robust and easiest to use back up software I have ever used. The jobs are easy to set up in the restores our seamless.

Nachteile:

I struggle to find any cons with the software. As compared to our previous backup software this is far and away the best. This is outperformed anything that comes to my mind.

Interface can be a little confusing at times with a lot of options on the screen, interface also freezes from time to time when using it.

Acronis - Great Local Backup

Kommentare: For backing up my local drives while offering Ransomware protection, my experience with Acronis has been great.

Vorteile:

The GUI and various options are easy to figure out and configure. There are many different backup options, and the on-board Ransomware protection is a plus.

Nachteile:

The software does crash on a somewhat regular basis and appears at times to be a memory hog. However, most of the time it works just fine.

The Best Backup Utility!

Kommentare: Using Acronis in a hospital environment made things very quick and easy! Migrating from Windows XP to 7 was a huge task at hundreds of doctor offices in the state and Acronis made backing data up very quick and easy. No data was ever lost!

Vorteile:

Acronis is a very powerful backup utility. The software makes it easy to configure a backup and execute. The software works very well and I never really had any issues with using it.

Nachteile:

The cloud storage is a separate thing from the software so a hard drive or thumb drive would need to be used.

Disk cloning software

Vorteile:

You are able to backup or clone full system drives so that you do not loose any information if you disk is starting to fail

Nachteile:

The disk to disk clone feature is not always very stable and sometime does not work and you have to resort to imaging the drive and then restoring it on another drive. More time consuming
