Kommentare: We are a Radiation Oncology group practice in Miami, Fl. with 3 hospital-based centers and 2 freestanding centers. The hospital centers use different versions of Impac with different levels of EMR from 100% in one hospital to 30% in another. The freestanding centers use Aria and are 100% paperless. We were outsourcing our billing and the amount of work that we had to do was enormous due to the manual entry of every procedure. There was no follow up on denials by the billing company and their monthly reports only included the "good" things but not what they were missing. We got involved with Iridium Suite almost from the start of this company in 2007 and we just reached patient 6,000 in their database. They have incorporated many of the things we asked for based on our experience, and the system fits us like a glove. We import everything electronically from the 5 locations, no manual entry of anything, which is 99% of our billing and we get electronic remittances from about 80% of our payers therefore minimizing the manual posting and human error. The system has allowed us to bill for a procedure on a Monday and to have the money in our bank account on Friday the same week with direct electronic deposit. This is fantastic. They do periodic updates, which are included in their annual fees, which by the way are extremely reasonable. There is no upfront hardware or software expense, everything is Internet based and their technical support is excellent. We have a person-to-person relationship with them although we do not necessarily speak that often since there is no need. We recommend this system for any Radiation Oncology practice and I am sure it can do the same for any specialty.

Kommentare: Due to the impending elimination of our paper medical records, we needed to find a way to capture our radiation oncology charges electronically. After meeting the Medical Business Systems Iridium Suite sales representative at a Bogardus Medical Systems seminar, they were our first choice. Once we initiated contact, the response from the sales representative was quick and professional. A demonstration was easily scheduled and preformed expertly. All of our many questions were answered and all of our uncertainties about "losing control" by automating the process were quickly put to rest. Once the decision was made, the process progressed quickly and smoothly. The customer service representative did an excellent job with all the information and forms required for the transition to not only the new software, but claims clearinghouse as well. The level of initial training offered is quite extensive and any subsequent issues or questions are addressed very quickly, most often within just an hour or so. There is frequent contact by the sales representative to insure all of our needs are met. Our radiation center uses Varian Aria and Iridium Suite interfaces completely, importing an entire day's work within a few minutes. The automated payment posting process has significantly reduced the time required for this task as well as improved accuracy as well. The software includes many customizable features that are definitely valuable for practices that have numerous physicians and/or locations. Overall, we believe Iridium Suite to be an outstanding product and Medical Business Systems to be an excellent company to work with.

Kommentare: Iridium Suite is the software I was trained on in the medical billing department. It was extremely helpful to have the system stop some of my mistakes in the early stages of training. Having worked as a bookkeeper for many years, it was easy to compare the advantages of Iridium Suite software with other systems I had used. It is set up logically and has many little perks and features that help me when I am calling patients or insurance companies. I found Iridium Suite was easy to use, learned it quickly, and continue to enjoy using this system. To supply answers to my questions, the help link is fast and easy; plus the support department has been great whenever I have problems. I recommend this software for all medical billing.
