Telescope or The asset bank its great software for digital Assets management

Kommentare: I had a great experience with this software its one of the best digital asset management system software.

Vorteile:

It is very user friendly, it can be implemented on perm as well as on cloud. This software is used by the fortune 500 companies such as unilever.

Nachteile:

There is nothing that I did not like about the Telescope or The asset bank.

Professional Hybrid DAM System

Kommentare: North Plains Xinet Hybrid DAM system (Fileserver and DAM): ' Fileserver: Supports Creative teams by storing the files where they work
on every day. Xinet's own AFP stack (for Apple client connections) and
plugin for Samba (Windows client connections) allows for the creative
departments to work directly on the fileserver. No need to store files on
any other fileserver or local client workstations. ' DAM System: File shares are setup to be available from the web and Pilot
interface, metadata fields can be easily setup and assigned to the users
and groups. Collaboration tools and Adobe Application integration included. Secure access through Portal (Proxy server) and customizable user interface.

Work in Progress

Kommentare: I came into my position without ever having used a DAM before. It took a few months for me to get the hang of the system but now I feel pretty confident I know how to. The biggest issues I have are user-friendly experiences and the slowness of getting updates. Half of my job has been assisting people in using the DAM. It's a love-hate relationship but I know there is so much more potential with the system that we aren't using yet.

Vorteile:

Once you get the hang of it, it is an amazing tool to store information and pass off to others.

Nachteile:

It seems to break down a lot and there are server issues with it.

Global roll-out within a large FMCG company

Kommentare: PROS:
- fast roll-out thanks to robust solution, allowing Customer adjustments (taxonomy, theming, etc.)
- team and solution has good track records with global companies, so we think the same way and don't need to explain to them what our challenges are
- all key functionalities are available out-of-the box, including some Advanced ones CONS:
- interface for end-users is good and allows some customization/adaptation (theming), but still not the most modern or beautiful in the market. As the main users are marketers, they are in contact with agencies that can provide systems with better look & feel, even if much less robust / scalable / secure.

Robust platform to hold our most valuable assets

Kommentare: North Plains Telescope is a very robust platform that enables us to securely store our assets from initial creation, selection, editing, and delivery. Very easy to use and a great way to explore and find old content that had previously remained forgotten.

Brand Asset Library Software

Kommentare: North Plains are our provider for our BAL platform used throughout our business. We have recently been working on an upgrade and North Plains have provided great thought during the process.

Rocky Start

Kommentare: Things started off rocky but we are getting to a great place. I am looking forward to staying a partner with Northplains and know we working on the issues we have had.

Global brands - SAB Miller

Kommentare: Relatively new to the product and platform - simple but comprehensive product. Great customer support.
