Everything you need in one app
Kommentare: One stop shop for attendance, meal counts, children’s information and messaging with parents. There are way more features, I listed my favorite few.

Photos and notes are not in albums or files so you have to scroll back in activities to see them.
My thoughts on Procare
Kommentare: I think procare is a decent option, but there are better, user friendly systems out now that have better user interface and phone applications that integrate well.
Vorteile:
the numbers dashboard was the best part, being able to see everything in one area was super helpful when needing a quick peek at specific things like # of people in classrooms!
Nachteile:
i think procare was made in mind with 1 specialized person using the system always & not multiple people with basic knowledge coming in and using daily which is what I would assume most places have happening.

Kommentare: Our overall experience with Procare has been very good. We are amazed at what their system offers and for the most part how easy it is to navigate.
Vorteile:
Procare has many attributes that help to make our facility run smoothly, however, the top 2 things that set it apart is when I have a question with the software I am always able to get an answer quickly. I use the chat feature A LOT and I have never waited more than 15 minutes. It is quick and allows me to figure it out quickly. They also listen to you. When you give them feedback about things you want included that they do not yet have or if something needs to be adjusted in their system, they listen. They are constantly releasing new updates and at least 3 have been items that I had asked for.
Nachteile:
They have many training videos, but I wish they had question-and-answer sessions with a live person for each of the items on the site. I know this would be difficult because of the sheer number of items they offer, however, at one point this happened because I was the only one who had signed up for a training session, and due to this, the leader unmuted us and allowed us to ask questions as he walked us through the training...it was so helpful!
procare ;a reliable tool for childcare professionals
Kommentare: procare is ideal for centers and it has been a great help for my classroom. it helps me connect with the parents and keep the parents updated with their children progress and what we do on a daily.

some features require more in depth tutorials to fully understand how to use them effectively .
Good Experience with ProCare
Kommentare: Overall it has been a good experience. Not great but good. There are still some issues to be worked out. Like what Icons mean, Subsidy billing issues, and enrolling students into two classrooms.
Vorteile:
We have been using ProCare for a few years now. Customer service is quick and pretty helpful on most questions. I like that they will accept suggestions to make the software better from a user's end.
Nachteile:
The bugs that happen. There seems to be a few problems with the parents payment function that involves Tuition Express.

Kommentare: I have been using Procare for almost four years. I like the safety pickup and look up phone numbers to contact the parents.

Kommentare: Procare has been great. Setup was easy, we had great support and guidance. The Extended Day Team is more organized now, our parents get invoices and information on their children more quickly. And for the price point it was well worth it especially since Procare is for these programs unlike the other system we used which had to be shoe horned to fit our needs.
Vorteile:
I like the fact that this has cut way down on unnecessary paperwork and additional spreadsheets just to figure out how our Extended Day and Summer Camp Programs were doing. I also like how this has gotten about 99% of our families to pay online instead of with cash or check.
Nachteile:
Navigating the reports to get all the information I need for the accounting department is a little cumbersome but I'm figuring it out.

User Friendly
Kommentare: I have used Procare for 27 years and went through the major upgrade and the new Procare Solutions. They just keep getting better.
Vorteile:
I like the fact that the program is easy to use and has more complicated functions when needed. I was able to get rid of QuickBooks and do all my center management for students, accounts, and staff with payroll all from one program that I can also access from anywhere! I love their customer service. They are trained and can really help.
Nachteile:
Are too many choices a problem? So many reports that it takes time to figure out what report you want. Once you figure out the report that works the best you are set. With data reports you can configure your own reports as well.

I wish there were more merchant service company options.

Good solution for small programs and larger ones
Kommentare: It's been a good expereince. We were using CCM for ages (which Procare bought out) but due to cost we decided to go with Sage, which we did not like at ALL, then over to HiMama which we were happy with, but didn't 100% meet our needs. Procare's cost came down, and still had a lot of the features from CCM that we were missing.
Vorteile:
That we have everything in one place, we can send out forms, newsletters, message parents and handle billing all in one platform.
Nachteile:
We are school-age so our program runs differently, I wish the Standards provided in the lesson planner went up to school-age, but I have not yet found a program that is set up for school age students. Parents don't like that they get updates for room changes/recess, etc. But if they turn off notifications, they don't get any notices including deadlines... it would be great if they could do customization for user end for that.

There are still some features Procare is lacking, in my experience. I'd like to get notifications (as the administrator) when teachers create incident reports and I'd like a way to confidentially communicate with enrolled families within the platform, for example.

Kommentare: I have used Procare for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better. It makes my job as an executive over child care programs so much easier by keeping every tool I need in one place.
Vorteile:
Procare is a one stop shop! They do everything we need and are always adding new features. The backend reporting side of Desktop is a game changer for administrators and the app has been crucial for maintaining consistent, quality communication between staff and families.
Nachteile:
Nothing- we switched to another system for a year and as soon as our contract was up with the other guys, we ran back.

Kommentare: Overall, Procare has made our lives as both administration and teachers so much easier!
Vorteile:
ProCare takes care of all our needs in one easy platform. From tracking who is signing a child in and out, attendance, parent messages, incident reports, diapering, feeding and even napping, we have been able to do away with pen and paper for basically all classroom documentation. As administration that does not work hands on with billing, I am still able to see in-depth explanations to parents accounts and assist them when they have issues.
Nachteile:
As with any technology, there are glitches. Things as simple as Procare not catching a child's birthday and changing their tuition accordingly has to be monitored because it frequently does not work. Other than that, our only downfall is that if wifi goes down, we lose some capabilities as cell service is not great in our building and many parents rely on a tablet kiosk for signing children in and out.
Procare Review
Kommentare: Fantastic!! I have used two other similar platforms and Procare has been the most user friendly and the best option for familes.
Vorteile:
The customer service is amazing! Any time I need to message or call my issue or question is immediately handled and fixed. They also reach out afterwards to make sure you are all set and see you have any additional questions!
Nachteile:
I wish there was an option for automatic payments without additional fees.
ProCare is all that you need for childcare admin
Kommentare: The ability for ProCare to be the one stop shop for everything related to the daycare experience is awesome.
Vorteile:
The ability for childcare to stay connected with parents throughout the day. Reduces questions later, and promotes better collaborative development.
Nachteile:
Would like it if some of the notifications could come through as text messages rather than just push notifications.
Easy to use solution for Childcare centers
Kommentare: Overall, Procare has been great and has provided my school with a streamline way to document a child's day and stay connected with parents.
Vorteile:
I like that it allows for in depth parent communication. I also like how easy the system is to use.
Nachteile:
There are a handful of limitations within the desktop version for administrators. I wish there was an easy way to mark children absent. I also would like to see a higher quality documents system.
Procare is a PRIORITY!
Kommentare: Overall, I LOVE Procare. Although we are a new child care center with limited funds, Procare is a priority!
Vorteile:
Procare Solutions makes parent sign in/out a breeze and allows us to easily print reports that help with completing payroll and subsidy reimbursement. Procare Desktop has functions to help calculate private and subsidy billing quickly.
Nachteile:
We switched from the online only version to the desktop version, which took several Zoom call trainings to learn how to use all the functions of the desktop version. However, once we got the hang of the desktop version, it has a lot of functions that help make my work as a director more efficient. On the flip side, there are functions that can only be done on the desktop version, which means I have to have my laptop available. For example, if a parent asks what their balance is, I am unable to view it on my cell/online and have to wait until I am able to get back to my office to give them that info. PRior to switching to the desktop version, I could easily look that info up online.
Longest and most consistent
Kommentare: I have been a long time user of Procare. Over 10 years now. I have tried other programs but always come back to Procare due to it's ease of use, affordability and how much my parents like it.
Vorteile:
I used Procare Online since before it was Procare ONline. I like the portability and the price. The features were updated regularly and it made enrolling and tracking so easy and precise for my childcare Program.
Nachteile:
Some of the features still need to be updated. Integration with our food program and options state learning domains would be nice. We have the domains there but it has to be inputted manually.
Great, but takes a long time to learn all that the Procare software offers
Kommentare: Procare is a quality child care management system for keeping track of a ton of child and family information. It takes quite some time to learn all what Procare can do for your program.
Vorteile:
The online MyProcare Parent Portal is a great way for parents to add and update their children's weekly schedules. And it's super nice that they can pay their bills through the portal as well.
Nachteile:
Tuition Express frequently fails to post payments to random accounts when a parent pays online. This is a HUGE headache because you must goin to the accounts and manually enter the payments and then generate a deposit report.
