Viewpoint keeps us organized from start to finish!

Kommentare: Despite the difficulty in the initial set up, our overall experience has been positive. Once our employees and clients were trained and used to the new system, everything has been much more efficient. We are able to locate purchase orders, quotes, contracts, bond much fast than with our internal process.

Vorteile:

I like being able to follow my projects from quoting to contract to billing within the same program. It makes our record keeping a breeze and has streamlined our project management process quite a bit.

Nachteile:

It was difficult for us to set up initially. We had some trouble integrating our standard documents with the system so that we use our database information to generate contracts and purchase orders. I wish there had been an easier way to do this so we could ensure that our customer and clients continued to receive paperwork in the format that they were accustomed to.

Viewpoint

Kommentare: Find Viewpoint a bit hard to navigate. Once you use it often it gets easier, but staff that does not use it on a daily basis always has trouble remembering what report or function to use.

Vorteile:

Like the Job Cost Summary, it is a great tool to quickly analyze a projects budget to see if it is still on track. Individual lines items quickly show what is over or under budget.

Nachteile:

Lots of 'secret' F4, F8 functions needed to finalize things. Hard to teach and remember these functions.

By far the worst practice management software I've ever used

Vorteile:

absolutely nothing, there is not 1 thing in this software that makes me think, oh I'm glad it does that. If you held a gun to my head I wouldn't be able to tell you anything I like about it and would surely be shot

Nachteile:

Everything, can't run a day specific deposit list. Appointments only show 1 line of info, can't enter multiple payment sources. No way to differentiate between patient checks and insurance checks. The whole system is very flawed and not user friendly

Great product for Accounts Payable

Vorteile:

This is a good product for a large construction company because it is very well organized with categories that make processing invoices for a large company very simple. There are well defined categories for all the levels that an invoice goes through from unprocessed to fully approved. There is also editing that can be used to put notes right on the invoice and/or on the invoice record. It is very user friendly and easy to learn. This product would also be good for smaller construction companies as well.

Nachteile:

Have to transfer invoices to Spectrum (another software) to cut checks. They can not be cut from the Viewpoint software itself which can create more work.

Great Company Software

Kommentare: Reports, billings, compliance, invoicing, projections, etc... all streamline together for a smooth process.

Vorteile:

VP is easy to use & is streamlined so all departments utilize it & it is customizable to fit our company needs. I like using (1) program to do everything, it helps my job be more efficient & accurate.

Nachteile:

I do not have any cons specifically about VP. My only suggestion would be it would be nice to create expense reports within VP. This would eliminate the extra web-based program we are currently using.

ViewPoint takes the guess work out of estimating service calls.

Kommentare: It allows me to quickly cost projects. The assemblies make sure that all the parts & pieces are accounted for.

Vorteile:

This program allows me to quickly & accurately figure over all costs for our service department.

Nachteile:

Translating the lingo my service techs use to the appropriate item. This is probably more of an issue with the what the techs provide than with the program.

Viewpoint best for daily use of cost tracking and cost management

Kommentare: I like it. It's easy to pull payment information, pending cost, approved cost, what was paid previously, etc. I use it on a daily basis to see where I am at on my projects.

Vorteile:

Change orders can easily be inputted, changed. Reports can be filtered and cost can be easily and correctly assessed

Nachteile:

Have to go through some painful steps when inputting budget or when completing buyout on contracts. That's the only downside for me.

My Viewpoint Review

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use. I like what the app has to offer as well. I’ve never had a problem with the app as like some apps I have trouble with some of them.

Nachteile:

The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t offer surveys as much as I would like for them to.
