Vorteile: Ease of use and I find prices for what I am bidding 90% of the time.
I can create my own cost for line items when I can't find what I am looking for.

Nachteile: Constant errors. Software crashes constantly. None of the cost book data is accurate to any of our pricing so we had to create all of our own custom line items.

If our software were producing "constant errors" and "crashing constantly," we wouldn't have over 100 very satisfied organizations using it. Have you reported these problems to our Support Center? We have no record of such issues. Also, your company name is not a known client of AdvantageCS.

Kommentare: Overall for the publishing industry, this is a good piece of software that will get the job done with some slight complications but the positives outweigh the negatives.

Vorteile: Everything you could need for a subscription management software Advantage CS has. From take customer orders to producing labels for publications. Anything you want you can do, if the software cannot then it can interact with third party

Nachteile: It is quite costly for the support that is offered and the software can get quite complicated when doing certain tasks.

Kommentare: Advantage software is very sophisticated and flexible which is great but comes at a cost. Users really have to understand how to utilize the features in order to take full advantage, no pun intended, of its capabilities. So far the best system on the market for fulfillment processing. We currently use the CIR, PRO, and in a few months, the AMB modules.
Once you have used the system for a few weeks consistently the interface is very user friendly and navigation is easy and painless. The new .NET version of the software is very intuitive and easy to pick up but again, you have to use it consistently.
Company itself is great, very dedicated to their product and customer base. Communication is very transparent and engineers know their stuff, when they don't they are honest enough to fess up and try to find someone else that can help. The company has grown in the recent 1-2 years and recently we have had trouble getting engineers that understand and appreciate how customers use the system, hopefully this immaturity will pass quickly, but it is the price of engaging new younger talent.
