Use Pumble, not Slack

Kommentare: It's basically Slack, but better. And the paid option is sensibly priced, so that's fantastic too.

Vorteile:

Pumble is easy to use - if you've used Slack, you already know everything you need to about Pumble. But, crucially, Pumble allows unlimited message history in the free version. This is a crippling restriction of Slack, and the main reason I switched from Slack to Pumble.

Nachteile:

Pumble's search feature is not great, and requires basically knowing exactly what whole word terms you're searching for. Partial words won't get you anywhere.

Pumble Never Fumbles

Kommentare: We really have no issues with Pumble. It is permanently on our phones as well as desktops.

Vorteile:

Pumble is great for sending quick messages without formality and for swapping files quickly.

Nachteile:

It doesn't like Doc sharing - it converts the to PDFs.

Needs improvement

Kommentare: I really would love to see more updates soon. My team is planning to transition to Pumble, we still have to decipher if it's a good tool to use overall.

Vorteile:

Clean interface. Conversations are easy to read.

Nachteile:

1. Can the team use the app to conduct a meeting? 2. Can we share-screen? 3. Can the app light up when we receive a message? 4. Notification settings seem limited. 5. Can we link the app with our google calendar?

Nice alternative to Slack or Teams

Kommentare: In general everything has been perfect, the free version is very complete! and I consider the PRO versions to be economical.

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to set up channels and invite new users.

Nachteile:

The lack of integrations, I think it needs integrations with Notion and Figma.

Better Than Slack

Kommentare: an absolute 5 star rated webtool, easy to use, pocket friendly.

Vorteile:

The Features helps our team to improvise and narrow down the workload and the communication is to the point and file sharing has become the icing on the cake and smooth as knife through the butter. Overall a budget friendly web tool to help us beat the system barrier and meet the timeline with the company goals.

Nachteile:

please market yourself (Pumble) more, there are a lot of the companies looking for your tool.

Happy we switched!

Vorteile:

We were previously using another software which had limits on message history. Pumble not only allows us to look at our entire message history from Pumble, but we were also able import our entire message history from the old program we were using.

Nachteile:

We had some difficulty transferring our message history over, but the support team was able to finally get it sorted out, and it worked perfectly. Other than that, we have had no cons!

A new and useful tool I daily use for my team collaboration

Vorteile:

Having a chat for each project, so that make it too easy to have a separate conversation and assets for each project.

Nachteile:

The chat capabilities need to be more strong, maybe by having the availability to upload and preview high quality documents and images, and having docs library for each project (chat) that would be great

There is not any thing that I don't really like from Pumble, but I can say that maybe more improvement in video meetings, adding more features like backgrounds, emojis or layouts.

Easy way to collaborate

I like the group chat and threading experience, also the good implementation of groupchat.

Nachteile:

The way to search in thread. It's a bit hard to find and check where is the post who started the thread.

I love how it gives the trial as well as its ease of access. i really love that its similar to slack but less confusing!

Nachteile:

I wish that it had a deal where 1 or 2 employees were discounted or free like a few others

A Slack Clone

Kommentare: For an experienced Slack user/team, this is a no-brainer to get it up and running.

Vorteile:

Ease of importing data, memebers users from Slack

Nachteile:

It's the same mess as Slack with their multi-thread per channel discussion.

I am talking about the ease and rapid response here.
When my organisation introduces Pumble we were like wow and we learned using Pumble from day one it gets on board it's that easy. I will surely recommend Pumble to everyone out there facing difficulties in communicating with the team.

Vorteile:

It's simplicity & easiness which you feel using this app and its some features like creating channel, groups, All DMs, thread feature is something which I like the most, This app is something you can't ask for more. Team communication got easier, we can see whether the person is active or not. Any type of file sharing is easier. It can be installed on both phone and the system. We can save notes by sending the documents or credentials to ourselves. like the chat user interface. love the channel sidebar. Simple and effective.

Nachteile:

It should show the history or a text if the message is deleted by somebody, It gets difficult to find what message is deleted by whom in the group.

A distraction free work chat with loads of features

Kommentare: Keeping social and personal chats off helps create a work-life balance helping both work and life! During office hours, the team is distraction-free with no friends and family messaging. Post office hours, switching off Pumble creates the constraint not to interfere with the personal lives and spaces of team members. The convenience of running it across multiple devices including mobile is a great feature.

Vorteile:

Customizable projects and channels dedicated to each of them helps keep ideas and communications organized.

Nachteile:

Sharing large files via Pumble (say 10 Mb and above is inconvenient and buggy)

Kommentare: My experience is very satisfatory, no problems with communictation like we had in whatsapp and all files we´d shares was received to others perfectly

Vorteile:

Pumble is very easy to set up and start using. The chat features are easy to customize and I can create groups to keep everyone in the same project up to date with any developments. The sync between the browser and mobile app is very good, so I can be reached even while on the go.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to add certain DM chats or group chats as favorites so that I can access them easier. Also, having a unread message reminder would help out a lot.
