Sehr angenehmes Audioschnittprogramm

Vorteile:

Ich nutze Audacity gerne um Voice overs aufzunehmen, was immer super funktioniert. Schon zu Studienzeiten habe ich damit Studienprojekte bearbeitet und habe immer gute Noten gehabt :D Es ist einfach zu verstehen, man kann einiges damit machen, Ton verbessern und sehr angenehm damit arbeiten

Nachteile:

Hall und Übersteuerungen sind schwer bis gar nicht rauszuarbeiten, dafür habe ich in ein andere Programm investiert. Aber abgsehen davon, kann man damit richtig viel anstellen. Und Hall und Übersteuerung sind ja im besten Falle von vorneherein zu vermeiden.

Eigentlich fand ich schon das dieses Software einfach zu bedienen und kann jeder sich gut auskennen

Vorteile:

Wer eine gute Software zum Aufnehmen, Bearbeiten und Mischen von Tönen sucht sollte sich dieses Leistungsstarke Tonstudio näher ansehen. Ich nutze Audacity vor allem wegen der integrierten "Rauschen entfernen" Funktion. Mit diesem praktischen Tool habe ich schon hervorragende Ergebnisse erzielt. Dank Audacity klingen meine verrauschten Tonaufnahmen wieder schön und Klar!Vorteile: Software arbeitet weitgehend fehlerfrei und liefert mit ein wenig Geschick tolle Audioaufnahmen. Zudem ist die Software absolut kostenlos und einfach auf dem Computer zu Installieren.

Nachteile:

Ich persönlich habe keine Nachteile für mich entdeckt.

My Podcast Got Noticed

Kommentare: From the minute I started using Audacity, I was able to turn my podcast into an entertaining program that earned me an audience faster than I expected. I was able to put my ideas into sound only using Audacity. I swear by it.

Vorteile:

The Help Center and countless available YouTube troubleshooting videos made it easy for me to learn Audacity in just one sitting. So I was able to get editing right away.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to dislike about this software. It's unbelievable.

Great for basic audio editing and filtering

Kommentare: I started using this when I lost my access to Adobe Creative Suite, and rapidly realized it was actually better suited to my needs. I wouldn't use it for mixing music, but it's perfectly adequate for taking a voice recording and prepping it for a podcast or voice-over. It's quick and easy, and it has a decent range of built-in tools and filters.

Vorteile:

It's basic, but it does all you need for simple tasks.

Nachteile:

Navigation within a clip can be tricky sometimes.

Amazing free audio recording app for dialogue

Kommentare: I wouldn't be without it. Excellent.
You can view the soundwave as more spaced out or tighter together.
There’s an icon to click to see the entire recording in one go. This is useful when you’re looking to see if there’s any particular section that had a louder volume than the rest. You might then choose to locate it, select it and choose amplify and put in a negative number to reduce the volume.
When you’re going through you may want to take out tiny aspects of background noise, or maybe there’s a very audible out breath on your part to take out. View the soundwave as expanded so that you can select a small section to delete.
I like the shortcuts.
Press spacebar to play from the last place you clicked on the soundwave.
Press x to get the cursor to locate at the current location in the recording.
Control R to repeat the last effect.
R to record.
You can have multiple tracks.
You can have stereo tracks or mono.

Vorteile:

Free audio editing. I make self-help recordings for myself, and potentially for others in the future.

Nachteile:

You can't import MP4s. I import those into Total Recorder, change to an MP3 and then import into Audacity. Something minor. I would like a keyboard shortcut when I place a label (temporary) on the soundwave to toggle back to editing the track. I haven't managed to find one yet! I am assuming the following would be the same with any audio recording app, but there is a difficulty which occurs when recording speech audio. The same would apply if you were recording an instrument. If you’re recording on more than one occasion, even in the same room with the same mic, the recordings don’t necessarily sound the same. There may be differences in temperature, you might have curtains open or closed etc, you may be further away from the mic. Therefore, even with the flexibility of audacity, it is advisable to try to record something through from start to finish and not rely on having to come back and for example insert a sentence.

Audacity is good for Audio editors and beginners.

Kommentare: I loved Audacity when I first started it. Now I am using a different program, but Audacity is a great start for beginners.

Vorteile:

I liked it because it is easy and it is free.

Nachteile:

I didn't like the fact that it doesn't have a good manual for mixing and mastering for beginners.

A Great Audio Software

Kommentare: Unlike expensive audio software, it's easy to use. I don't have time to learn a complicated software. I've used it for many years. I get high quality results for my clients and for my course studies which is a must. It's consistently being updated to give the best results. I can't do business without it.

Vorteile:

I love that audacity is free and that it offers all the tools I need to record and edit my voiceovers, my e-course studies, and to create and edit mp3's to go with the video book trailers I create for my clients.

Nachteile:

It must be downloaded to my computer to use.

Deserves way more recognition!

Kommentare: Audacity is one of the most career-spanning software available. It's used by many professional studios, why wouldn't they? It does exactly what it advertises at a more than fair price.Wether I scratch some ideas in Ableton Live or multitrack in Reaper, I always keep Audacity nearby and opened ready to make quick edits and export them back into DAW. I also use it to record very long audio clips, edit them using the waveform view and tadah! Work done.

Vorteile:

Audacity is the Swiss knife of audio editing. It has anything and everything you could need to chop, cut, copy, stutter or effect audio quickly and easily. It needs no manual (it has one anyway) since it's very intuitive and even a hobbyist will find some way to use it in a matter of minutes. It even supports VSTs, so bring your virtual effects library and enjoy!

Nachteile:

There's nothing I would like Audacity to do that it doesn't right now. It's not meant to mix, multitrack or anything like that (DAWs exists for a reason) it's just good at what it does. Maybe the GUI could be more modern? But who does not like a dose of vintage!

Easy audio editor to start learning

Vorteile:

It is easy to use. I saw a 5 minutes video and started using it for some audio cleanup.

Nachteile:

I'm not sure if it integrates to adobe, and I ended up moving to adobe audacity. I liked the UI/UX better.

Audacity delivers. For FREE this is a top notch product.

Kommentare: I used Audacity personally when I was just beginning and it certainly 'wet my appetite' for the creative avenues digital music recording allows. Because it's FREE there's no loss to take a dive into the features. And it certainly delivers for the price. I have also used it in a classroom setting and it's also great place to start with students.

Vorteile:

No way around it. This is a great FREE app. That's a great place to start your audio recording experience.

Nachteile:

I don't like to criticize FREE apps...cause they are FREE. But...my experience it lags on the MIDI features. So if you plan to do live MIDI recordings of your parts, you will need to go back and do some MIDI bumping of your events cause it will struggle with proper placement.

Best software for a beginner

Kommentare: I am using it since 1 year or more. I usually use to record and edit my voice overs for my youtube videos. It gives me plenty of option like noise reduction, boost, equalizer etc which makes y voice over more fluent..

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use. Anyone having zero knowledge of audio editing can operate this software.

Nachteile:

It can avail more features related to AI.

Audacity great for beginnners

Kommentare: I was able to edit the podcast we were working on pretty easily, we even added some sound effects and fades in and out like you would on a radio show. seems like you can also do much more complex tasks easily too if you are knowledgeable.

Vorteile:

I like how you can visually see all the tracks and it helps to go back when something sounds wrong. As someone who is not adept at editing in any sort I found it to be straight forward and easy to use. there are tons of videos online that can help you do whatever you are trying to do

Nachteile:

I can be daunting of you are not a person who knows much about audio editing but you can choose to make what you do simple. In program help guides would be great.

Audacity - The Answer to online radio producers who are not inherently sound engineers!

Kommentare: I have enjoyed my experience and have taught my entire staff complement how to use it and continue using all the options so they can learn and teach each other new tricks.

Vorteile:

I love that I dont have to be a sound engineer to understand sound waves and how to create high quality sound and audio clips. Its simple to teach DJ's how to use Audacity to create their own jingles, voice overs and clean up their recordings for Podcasts. Their import facility and ability to add and move audio clips to where its most suitable within the file, is beyond reproach and I couldn't have done some of the radio interviews without it. Especially when clients make errors during recordings.

Nachteile:

Very little but if I have to find fault its when you have to install the ff library and that's a challenge as it never works first time. It's quite a mission to get it installed. So I usually tell my DJs to convert their files to mp3 online and then import into Audacity. It doesn't seem to lose quality.

I Love Audacity

Kommentare: I have seen many people use this free service and I had to try it out for myself. It failed to disappoint. I love this service and will not stop using it.

I really like that it is a completely free service. It has no paywall at all. Also, the software is really easy to read and doesn't shove tons of things at you as soon as you open it.

I have absolutely no complaints about this great software.

Audacity is still around because it gets updated regularly

Kommentare: Because of its popularity, I'm happy to stick with it as when a problem arises, there will be a YouTube video describing how to solve it and that's important. I do think the program works better on a Mac than the PC.

Vorteile:

The fact that it's open source, plenty of support, a mature product and it's still being updated is appealing to me. I just wish there were more plugins.

Nachteile:

Maybe it's time to have a new GUI, perhaps add wizards to guide people through tasks. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a mobile app for it?

Audacity too notch

Pretty Good Overall

Kommentare: I use Audacity to edit an audiobook and I lobe it.

Vorteile:

Many Features, plugins are suppoted, and is 99 percent accessible to a screen reader.

Nachteile:

It is a little fiddley, especially with multi-track editing.

So much easier than other programs I've used

Vorteile:

I want to start by saying that I am using this to record and edit voiceover recordings and I am very much a beginner. I had been using Garage Band and this is so much easier to use! Editing tracks is so much more intuitive and I would have saved myself so much time if I had been using this software all along.

Nachteile:

The interface definitely feels a little dated but for a free program, I can't complain. I've had a few hiccups with audio channels disappearing but I fully admit that this could be user error.

Audacity has enough tools to edit podcasts

The perfect tool for sound management

Kommentare: I edited many tracks with this tools and I also used it to record some music.Maybe it's a bit slow to fully master, but Audacity is surely a high quality program with many options to choose from. And don't forget that it's free to use, too.

Vorteile:

Audacity has tons of featuers, including recording your audio files, generating sounds, tracks editor with many options to choose from and even the support for program extensions.

Nachteile:

Audacity's GUI sometimes feels old, it does not have a darkmode (even if this is not a proble for many) and with all the things you can click on in the menus you often need some minutes to find the option you want.

Audacity is probably one of the best Open-Source solutions for any audio editing needs.

It's support for MIDI devices is really limited as compared to other similar softwares.
