All spoftware has a little learning cure, but this is on the very low end of the spectrum. I had my first retro meeting ready to go in about 30-45 minutes. 2) The built-in (and very flexible) agenda for facilitating the retro meetings is tremendously helpful 3) The ability to have a running list of action items (and those are incorporated into the agenda) is SUPER HELPFUL at making sure we are making progress\! 4) The ability to modify so many aspects of the retrospective meeting (questions, health check, etc.) 5) While Echometer has components (health check, retro survey) included in the agenda that are best practices/suggested by leaders in the scrum community (that are not included in other tools), Echometer also has made it flexible enough to remove these if you don't want them included. 6) The "shoot the balloons" and being able to customize the user icon/name has turned out to be the best icebreaker for the team ever\! People in the team that normally are very quiet have come out of their shell for these\!\! 7) While other tools offer the ability to send links ahead of the retro session, Echometer has a nice UI that the participants receive, where they can quickly/easily add items before the meeting if they want 8) When I use this tool, participants don't have to go through a ton of validation and information providing in order to use the tool. Some sites/tools require setting up an account, receiving an email, clicking on the link in the email, etc, etc, etc....just to be a particpant. Echometer doesn't require all that nonsense\! > > **Nachteile**: This isn't a huge issue, but since this field IS required, the only downside that I can find about Echometer is not being able to do a test run as a faciliator. But maybe this isn't an issue for other people. When I started using this tool, I wanted to practice the agenda for the meeting and be able to see what the particpants are seeing. Some tools have a facilitator view and a user view, and without a "test run" capability, I can't tell if what I'm seeing, the particpants are also seeing. > > LOVE THIS tool for doing retrospectives\! I have tried all the other methods (Mural, Miro, Reetro, EasyRetro, Parabol, etc.) and even though I could use most of those for free, I personally opted to pay out of my own pocket to get the upgraded version to use Echometer on an ongoing basis, because of all the reasons I mentioned above. I absolutely will pay for this without question, because it is SO worth it's value in the time savings, organization, and faciliation that it takes care of for me. Some of those other tools provide boards with templates available, but don't include a way to track action items. Some of those tools have agendas built in, but there's no customization. Some of those other tools require you to give the names of your children, your household income, your mother's madien name (obviously I'm exaggerating) just to be a participant. When I was trying to settle on a tool a few months ago, I tried Echometer then went back to some of the tools mentioned above to try them again (give them a fair comparison), I ended up getting frustrated because they are just lacking the things that Echometer has. Hands down, I came back to Echometer. The dev team participants also love this tool the best (the shoot the balloons is especially a favorite\!) and it makes me look like I am a more organized (than I typically am behind the scenes), better prepared, more polished, more experienced scrum master. ----- ### "La rétrospective et suivi de l'équipe avec efficacité" — 5.0/5 > **Andrei** | *22.
