HiPeople, automated reference check when focussed on hiring high quality talent

Kommentare: Overall we have a great experience with HiPeople. They truly appreciate our feedback on the tool/features and are always keen on improving where ever they can. They respond quickly on our (support) questions. Collaboration with the team of HiPeople is overall very good and always respectful with a bit of personal touch in their approach which i appreciate.

Vorteile:

HiPeople is easy to use and innovative. To tailor make the reference check so its aligned with the job requirements is easy to set up. And the Reference Check overview (outcome of the references) delivers us an additional assessment in our selection process of our applicants. The overview provided by the tool gives us insights on applicant behaviours, skills and performance and helps us to take a decision to compare this assessment report with the other steps in our selection process. Focus is on hiring qualitative talent.

Nachteile:

The Reference check report isnt visible in our ATS Greenhouse, although via the link in Greenhouse you are immediately directed to the report of the applicant. I know HiPeople is working on this feature to improve and make the report also visible in Greenhouse.

Kommentare: professional, the experience gave me enough time to do my assessment.

Vorteile:

the remote recruitment process went very well.

Nachteile:

unfortunately I didn't record along video at the end, I thought there are more questions still coming.

Kommentare: My experience using the platform was quite positive, the platform is user friendly and quite easy to navigate. I also feel, it provided a fair evaluation of my skills, the option to put together an interview video left me quite exited.

Vorteile:

I like that it gives an opportunity for candidates to brush up on their knowledge and understanding.

Nachteile:

What I didn't like the most is that the pages seemed a bit too heavy for my internet connection, but that might be due to the area I'm in.

It needs improvement in User Experience and accessibility options.

Kommentare: It feels complete but not polished as a web app made for scrutinizing candidates. The user experience is not the best in certain situations.

Vorteile:

Its a pretty straightforward platform as user applying to a position.

Nachteile:

The fullscreen made me not able to make bigger the pictures. The assessments have a disparity in the time required, some felt longer some felt shorter. Sometimes I ran out of time and sometimes I had five minutes or more left.

Kommentare: Overall my experience was positive. The system worked well and the assessment was a painless process.

The assessment was a fluid experience and examples/what to expect was outlined well.

Nachteile:

I would have liked to know the results of my assessments. While I understand the purpose of the assessment, if there are weak areas in my understanding of a topic, I would like to know what they are to target and rectify them.

I can't say there's anything in specific but it would've been great to be given guidelines with regards to the video element. The kind of background, the kind of attire (casual/formal), etc.

The questions were clear and easy to understand and I did not feel pressured - What of course I am wondering is how did I do and which questions did I get right or wrong. I presume that |I'll not be told which wil be very disappointing.

how in personal it was. I did not feel overly valued as a candidate.
