Kommentare: I am overall very happy with the app. I had to learn the ropes by doing some trial and error. Faced some bugs too. But development is progressing very fast and I am glad I hopped in early.

Vorteile:

Texau is versatile if nothing else. I am using it over a year and still find new use for the tool. I bought the app for simple website scraping. But I soon started running LinkedIn recipes, then outreach automation. And the team is still pumping out more features.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the recipes can become too complicated. Spices are single automation and easier to set up. Also, the UI/UX could use some upgrades. Lastly, new users tend to have a hard time figuring things out, so tutorials would be very welcome.

Recipes don't work. App has been under rectification right from the day I purchased. Irresponsible customer support. They never give a complete answer. None of my recipes worked in the last 2 years. I lost clients because of this app. Nobody, including the promoter takes feedback seriously.

Great lead generation tool

Kommentare: In general, we are solving our lead generation problem and how to get new prospects, this is really important because we want to have our pipeline full and this tool is letting us do it. It also helps us getting information validated so we can start using it as soon as the request is done.

Vorteile:

As a company, we liked the fact that this tool allows us to find more potential users and buyers for our products. We can find prospects using a wide variety of options including map results from google and LN profiles, this is really useful when you want to have a good source of people to send information, newsletters, and marketing emails.

Nachteile:

We don't like how sometimes is really tricky to get results from a search, its really hard to get results if you don't know how to add what's needed, and sometimes, as a new user, you can get a little frustrated because you might get error messages and no results at all.

Best Scraping and Automation Marketing Tool!

Vorteile:

For businesses, Texau is an automated marketing tool for generating new leads with a lot of features. I used it to scrap data from a Facebook group and then used one of its many recipes to get emails and then LinkedIn accounts for these potential prospects. It is a solid automation tool for business growth.

Nachteile:

There are some UI and UX improvements to be made, and there is also a bit of a learning curve.

Great Automation Platform

Kommentare: Great experience, is the automation software I recommend to friends and colleagues. I think the price is fair based on everything you can do and the desktop app is very powerful. None of the competitors have something like this

I really like the easy UI , making recipes is very easy and powerful. Once I made a couple of them I was able to modify them to target new data or scraping sites. The desktop version is great to work on Facebook

Nachteile:

There is some learning curve to get the hang of it. But once you get over this you are flying .

Swiss Army Life for Prospects mining and much more

Vorteile:

Targeted data collection is the strength of this platform allowing prospects mining from diverse social media platforms. A go-to tool.

Nachteile:

A little learning curve but the videos and broader help content is great, plus support is a always punctual.

Powerfull Social Scraper

Kommentare: I am scraping YouTube channels and use them for SEO campaigns with RankerX, scraping Facebook groups, etc.

Vorteile:

When you combine different spices covering different platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn) into recipe, than TexAu becomes really powerful and usefull.

Nachteile:

There is a bit of learning curve when developing complex recipes.

Vorteile:

TexAu is a versatile for any marketer, it allows you to automate numerous tasks across different technology platforms: facebook, product hunt, google, etc. It's all possible. You can also combine automations across different platforms. Thanks to the Desktop version you can run automations from your local IP. This is especially important for some platforms such as Facebook.

Nachteile:

For me TexAu is lacking depth and quality. What do I mean by this: I feel that the automation steps (called spices in TexAu) don't support everything. For example, extracting comments and likes from Live events doesn't work. Regular posts do work though. The API can't start automation recipes in the Desktop. Extraction of Profile viewers don't include the connection degree, ... and the list goes on. On many occasions I found myself stuck creating automations because of this lack of depth in the automation steps.

Would simply not recommend

On the paper, Texau has great potential. The extensive number of recipes/ spices available could make it a good alternative to several automation tools on the market.

Nachteile:

If you're expecting any kind of pro-active support, consideration or empathy from their customer support/founders I'd recommend considering any over tool that comes up when you do your research. You'll go there with automation in mind, but will ultimately end up slowing down your entire team. I have been a user for over a year and always reached out to the 'customer support' with simple queries. The simplest question would take days if not weeks to be closed. No matter how nicely you ask, how many times you kindly follow up, they will have no problem ghosting you.

The automation reliability isn't perfect, but the support team has been very helpful with any questions I've had so far. So if you're looking for an alternative to Phantombuster or just want more time back in your day, give TexAu a try!

I found that Texau to be a great research/growth hacking tool. It helped me narrow down my target audience and find out more about them, which as an entrepreneur is invaluable information. The app also allowed me to create automated tasks that would help generate new leads for my business without much work from myself. It is a tool that has lots of different uses, and is comparable to Phantombuster.

Nachteile:

There are a lot of things I liked about using Texau, but the thing that bothered me most is how unreliable it can be. All too often, recipes would break and I’d wouldn't be able to carry out the task that wanted to. However, I have always found their support to be friendly and they have always been able to fix whatever issues I've faced.

On the right direction but has room for improvement

It is an automation focused in marketing, it facilitate getting data with already made automations

Nachteile:

It could be more user friendly, even for advanced users it is difficult to learn. Several automations get erros and support is too slow to fix it. Right now it has an important automation that is broken for months and doesn't get fixed.

Growth machine

Vorteile:

Texau is a leads growth machine. I love the way we can create recipes, integrating all functions, and saving a lot of time. You can automate almost everything, including Instagram and Facebook.

Nachteile:

The only thing that could be better is more usecases/ recipes.

Decent scraping tool

Kommentare: I like that I have access to complex scraping actions on linkedin, facebook, etc...
The lack of basic actions though is frustrating for custom scraping needs.
Also, I'm usually expecting more than just extracting the information from an automation tool, but also transforming it into something usable.

Vorteile:

It's a scraping tool with some popular scraping actions out of the box. I like that it can scrape the posts/comments on FB (for instance) without having to use a proxy.

Nachteile:

What I'm missing though is "generic" actions and data manipulation so that I can build out my own scraping workflows. So I only use it for punctual extractions and then have to push the data to Integromat for processing.

An excellent marketing automation tool for small business

Kommentare: I can automate my LinkedIn outreach to find new buyers for my professional services with TexAu. It's an excellent tool.

Vorteile:

I can find, connect, and message LinkedIn contacts in an automated way with TexAu.

Nachteile:

Overall, I am very satisfied with TexAu. My only gripe is a bit of initial confusion with their terminology: spices & recipes (instead of what may be called formulas and strategies).

Very, very promising

I have perused the software, but haven't yet really done a ton with it yet. It is one of those tools you just know you'll need. Very robust. Does SO much. Super impressed

Nachteile:

Just wish I could better wrap my head around all the possibilities! Would be nice to have a call with a consultant expert on TexAu to go over my use-cases & implement the best plan of action.

Terrible support and broken technology

Vorteile:

It was helpful when I needed to Automate Linkedin Outreach.

Nachteile:

When I no longer needed the service and cancelled my account, the automations are still running on my linkedin even though I turned them off. I've reached out to support multiple times and they haven't gotten back to me.
