Scaled Meaningful Connections, a Partnership Maker's Dream CRM
Kommentare: From the trial, to support Q&A, and through to the purchase of the OctopusCRM I have had no complaints and I've have already recommended it to several friends. I highly recommend this product.
Vorteile:
The past 3 months of using Octopus has quadrupled my connections. I've paid "expert LinkedIn" consultants far more to achieve far less. Octopus automated messaging once connected went a long way to warming up leads prior to the first initial call. From what I've discovered there is no better, less expensive, way to automate connections and communications on LinkedIn.
Nachteile:
One feature I would like to see added is the ability to further filter a list once the list is imported to Octopus. In order to reach out to the most appropriate contacts it is important to filter out unnecessary outreach and get more "shots on goal".

In overall, I`m pretty much satisfied with the quality of services Octopus team provides me with.
Kommentare: I really don`t know what to say apart from that - it`s simply a solid and reliable, not overpriced tool for my marketing needs which makes the work done.
Vorteile:
Good balance between the number of functions available and ease of their usage(There just enough functions available and they are all quite accessible for understanding).
Nachteile:
I`d like to have some advanced tutorials, strategies perhaps on how to utilize the CRM in a better, more productive way.

No Automation
Kommentare: Customer service is horrible. I was forced to upgrade because the lowest version had extremely limited features. Upon upgrading to "premium" I mistakenly clicked the annual option for the upgrade. I didn't realize for a week until the annual subscription posted on my account!! I explained what happened to customer service and they refused to adjust despite still being in the first month of an annual subscription! This shows me they have little faith in their product to keep customers coming back, I think they're right. I'm not pleased with their customer service or the application. Now I'm out nearly $300 for something I used for 2 weeks and will never use again. Stay away!
Vorteile:
I would not recommend this product. It puts leads in buckets.
Nachteile:
Every single actions needs to be connected to another action. You have to manually move leads from one section to another to get the application to work. This is not automation but more of manual lead sequence management. The tool requires you to have the linkedin up and running and often times takes over multiple chrome tabs. There are no features worth having at any of the levels but premium. Even with premium you spend quite a bit of time setting up the "automation".

A must-have tool
Vorteile:
I love how Octopus facilitates creating outreach campaigns at a massive scale without having to worry that you'd follow-up on someone who replied. It has 10X'd our sales and I highly recommend the service. This is why we also started recommending this to our portfolio startups. You can create multiple campaigns and compare the efficiency. This enables us to test fast and iterate our approach at a pace that wasn't possible before.
Nachteile:
It would be even better if I could merge campaign lists. For example, if I run 5 different campaigns on the same target audience I don't want to reach out to the same person twice. If you reach out to someone in a different campaign, the tool doesn't recognize that that person has been contacted before.

Automate your LinkedIn reach and engage with a lot!
Kommentare: Absolutely LOVE me my Octopus CRM - It has simplified my outreach strategies and have enabled my LinkedIn profile to have a lot more visitors leading to more credibility in the market.
Vorteile:
The system has its own restrictions in place that does not breach LinkedIn’s engagement policies. That means whenever you are trying to send too many connection requests or messages to people, Octopus will automatically stop you from getting banned on LinkedIn! Also my prospects love personalised connection messages, they love that we are visiting them, endorsing them and then sending them follow up messages to connect with our business too! It’s a must have for any serious salesperson.
Nachteile:
It’s sometimes a little hard to track which people you have engaged with and which you haven’t. I wish it came with its own data visualisation CRM.

Octopus CRM A big plus for growing Linkedin
Kommentare: My overall experience with Octopus CRM has been awesome. I will continue to use it.
Vorteile:
I like the CRM feature and my ability to pick the contacts that I want to interact with. It is also very simple to use.
Nachteile:
Sometimes I forget the process to execute software. There should be something in the program that steers you in the right direction without having to watch a tutorial.

Octopus CRM as one of the best Lead Generation platforms for LinkedIn
Kommentare: In overall, I am very satisfied with the OctopusCRM and I will be using it myself and recommend to all my clients.
Vorteile:
The platform is cloud-based, so all the data is kept on the servers. You can access the software on any computer by installing the Chrome extension. Functionalities are easy to use and user friendly.
Nachteile:
That you need to start every action manually. It would be amazing to have some automation here, that will automatically start every day.

Fits the bill perfectly for me...
Kommentare: I was looking for a solution to semi-automate the building of my network on LinkedIn. I wanted to be able to create scripts for how I would reach out, control who was being reached out to, and be able to automate some of the process of connecting. Since I have started, I have grown my network by about 500 connections and this in only after a few weeks of working the system. I'm very happy with it.
Vorteile:
I like that it's pretty easy to use and mostly automates the job of building my network on LinkedIn. Was never really interested in something that was a total automation where I couldn't control who and when it was connecting, so this software was perfect for me.
Nachteile:
Some of the features are not exactly obvious about how they work, so you have to do the trainings to learn how to use them, but once you understand how they work, they are pretty easy to use.

LinkedIn Supercharger
Kommentare: I save almost 3 hours a day on new connections, endorsing profiles, etc. Now it's fully automated. I spend around 10 minutes a day to launch activities.
Vorteile:
Totally happy with Octopus CRM. I managed to boost my LinkedIn profile and increased the number of 1st connections from 2.5k to 5.5k in one month. I use it daily: make visits, connections, endorsements every day. From time to time I do cold messaging. I tried many other similar services but Octopus is the best for me. The almost ideal combination of features and price.
Nachteile:
Messages automation can be better. I wish to have a total 4-5-steps messaging automation. It would be great to have something like a schedule to launch connections and other processes from time to time.

Amazing CRM Addin for Chrome
Vorteile:
This is super easy to use and very effective.
Nachteile:
I feel like the pieces lacking in this software are actually limitations of the LinkedIn platform. This is a great tool. If I'm pushed, maybe something to be used outside of Chrome
Best automation tool that I've used
Vorteile:
I like that it so easy to use, very simple interface and automates my work in sending LinkedIn connections.
Nachteile:
Free trial is 7 days only, a bit pricey. But still its a great platform to use.
Excellent capabilities for the price
Kommentare: Once I watched the training videos and played around a little I quickly mastered this system. Great experience. Highly recommend for the busy professional who wants to streamline their LinkedIn efforts.
Vorteile:
Absolutely excellent at what it does. Saving search results and queuing for future connection campaigns, customized/dynamic messaging, visit management and even exporting contact data. All the features most of us want for a fraction of the price.
Nachteile:
Setting up funnels and understanding how contacts are moved/forwarded through each step took a few tries to really understand. I’d like to see a little more control over this process. I can’t seem to separate any connection requests that were ignored and this would be nice for follow up (it may exist and I just don’t know how to use it yet). A HUGE improvement could be made with some logic operators for messaging. Such as IF <contact> HAS <volunteer/charity> INSERT <dynamic text with name of charity>. Result =. <message text> + “it’s so cool that you support <charity organization>, I love their mission” Many other applications for basic logic and expanded dynamic field insertion.

Great tool to expand your network
Vorteile:
Very easy to expand your connection network. Has the potential to help improve ability to stay better engaged with your first level connections.
Nachteile:
The platform claims to be able to send a campaign of messages to groups of users. However, my team has not been able to get this ongoing scheduled feature to work properly. Would love to be able to speak with a human at Octopus about this issue but they only provide chat support.

Compaigns can only send message, not attachment or pictures. Compaigns management is not very idea.
Great option, wish it were a bit more!

It is the easiest to use of all the others I tried. I like the separate tab and the status indicator. Super easy to use, set and forget.
Nachteile:
It seems to decide on it's own when I've reached the limit for visits, which I don't believe LinkedIn limits. So I wish it would allow unlimited visits. It's also not always "smart" when it comes to parsing names. Some people add an emoji before their name or have a two name first name. It allows you to edit, which is nice - but I wish it were slightly smarter. It does change all caps names to case caps.

the ability to be able to engage more with the prospects by being able to insert things like their title, company and even endorse their skills
Nachteile:
I dont like how you have to mannually go to each message and select how many you want to send. It would be a massive massive improvement if you could set a delay on when the message sent and therefore have the whole funnel completely automated For example step send connection. Step 2 send 3 days later. Step 5 send 3 days later etc. That would be fantastic....you can do this automation on other software The second thing would be really good if you could group all steps under one funnel. This would make it really easy to split test and create seperate funnels . You would have a really valuable CRM and would be a fetaure i would pay extra for.
Cheap alternative to better solutions
Vorteile:
- Eays to use: The product is easy to use and you can get connections fairly easy. - Cloud based: It is secure because it is cloud-based
Nachteile:
- Import restrictions: You are not able to import more than 1.000 contacts at once. - No additional customization: There is no way for you to use custom tags in the connection request, only the predefined ones. That is a huge problem because it really restricts the personalization you can do - No inbox feature: To get back to replies you have to go into LinkedIn. An the LinkedIn inbox sucks.
Best Linkedin Automation Software
Vorteile:
It is very easy to import users and create messages in this software. It is the most intuitive out of the 3 options I've tried.
Nachteile:
I wish users were automatically moved to the next step in a campaign, instead of having to forward them. I also would appreciate more personalization options for messages, particularly an industry tag.
Highly recommend for relationship building

Vorteile:
Very easy to set-up and get going. Love that I can reach tons of people at a time; saves TONS of time, and you have the ability to customize messages with certain keys.
Nachteile:
Just wish there were more filterable/reviewable columns, such as Title and Company, so that when you're going through your imported list, you can delete or prioritize based on your targets.
Helps build connections
Kommentare: I think it is worth it. I have tripled my connections and following in less than an hour a day in the last month. Well minutes a day for the CRM and then an hour with proper followup.
Vorteile:
I use this product to build my connections and presence on Linkedin. It has been easy and works great with the automation features.
Nachteile:
Drip funnels still confuse me a bit but that more on me and less the software.
Taking outbound sales lead gen into our own hands
Kommentare: really excellent! Went from outsourcing our lead gen to 3rd party companies with very underwhelming results . We now have a solid sales pipeline which we built ourselves with using octopus

A Time Saver!!
Kommentare: As a recruiter, Octopus has streamlined the way I contact prospects. I used to spend all day looking at profiles and connecting and would have to maintain lists of people I wanted to talk to then wait for their connection acceptance to send a message. With Octopus I can send out connections to the filtered group of people of my choosing, Octopus adds them to a separate message list once we've connected and I can message hundreds with the click of one button. This has saved me so much time!
Vorteile:
I love how easy it is to use Octopus. There are plenty of tutorial videos that make it easy to understand how to properly use the software. Very user friendly.
Nachteile:
I wish there was more information about the dashboard page and the statistics shown there. I see the bar graph, but wonder what each value is and how I can improve my numbers.

Best help for Linkedin Prospecting
Kommentare: It is helping us to prospect faster and also with higher quality and monitoring, through the automation of the process and its better control.

It is very easy to use and very intuitive, and helps to automate the prospecting process
Nachteile:
It would be nice to be able to see the number of users of a list prior to its sending in each campaign. You can also see from the Dashboard the messages or contacts that have answered the messages, click on the number of replies and see the names and surnames from there to be able to move them to other campaigns. It would also be nice to be able to choose users who have not replied to connections or messages and to be able to move them one step back in the campaigns or in the funnel.
