Support for the good tool

Kommentare: Very positive. I came to the point where Flight instructing without FlightLogger is lowering the quality of my job. Not only that it saves my time, it inspires me to improve it even. I get ideas.

Vorteile:

Flight Instructor can administer student files more quickly. When coming to a new ATO, you can scroll down the wall and be updated with many things. Color reminders for revalidations. Ideas: I told Frederick few weeks ago in LCLK. Why some EASA Examiner, TRI/TRE, IRE/CRE or any other title, wouldn't show time of his availability for skill check across the FlightLogger platform? Database is huge, users don't see each other. Put Metcalf's law in practice somehow. Just an idea.

Nachteile:

Clearer icons. So when you look at the Icon, instantly is known what it represents. More distinct contrast of color in between the tabs and options. Use shades for depth. Reminder Icons to enlarge a bit. Yellow icons are hard to decipher. Student-pilots are users also, find their feedback information too.

Kommentare: We are very happy with the service, the tools available and the support is very fast to answer.

Vorteile:

It answer most of our needs and is quite user friendly to use.

Nachteile:

A few surprise in some formats - dates in dd.mm.yyyy as opposed to the more common dd/mm/yyyy - some information extracts are not possible to have and make some analysis impossible or very difficult - the csv formating of extracts is suprising and makes integrating into excel difficult. - user administration not a s easy as it could be. Overlooking closed accounts hard to follow.

Excellent experience with FlightLogger

Vorteile:

Easy for bookings, gradings, get the reports. Easy for checking and monitoring the hours. Addition of CBTA makes it even more useful.

Nachteile:

I think we shall have a tool to get overall grades of a student at the time of completion of training or s[ecific phase. Then we can grad the cadets in terms of performance

Reducing paper files and keeps it all in one place

Nachteile:

Not designed for ATOs so work arounds need to utilised. The theory side is lacking but we understand improvements are in progress

Possibly the best Training Management Platform on the market, and it keeps getting better!

Kommentare: I have been using Flighlogger from near the beginning of the company. My experience has always been excellent. Flighlogger was always willing to listen and discuss your ideas. Now that they have become bigger, they are still willing to listen and discuss. Don't ever lose that, it is your key to success.

Vorteile:

It is a very user friendly platform which has developed over the years by listening to its client base. Therefore every update makes sense and helps to improve the product and productivity for the end user. Its latest updates have been awesome.

Nachteile:

What I really don't like is that once I login with my Myflightlogger e-mail, I receive e-mails from all my different Flightlogger accounts on that e-mail. What I would really want is for that e-mail to just give me access to Myflightlogger and to keep the e-mails associated with each account independent and working. Or at least to have the option to set that up.

Very good overall tool for a flight school

Kommentare: Overall experience is very positive. I'm very happy with the program.

Vorteile:

It's easy to learn and easy to use. The management team gives good information about the updates and new features. The program is also developing all the time.

Nachteile:

The flight tracking system could be better. It would be better to add FR24 trac, since the cover is better and with FR24 you coould see the whole track.

Implementing FL in our training school

Kommentare: First the product is simply great and attractive. Secondly the supportteam did an excellent job in taking us by the hand with kickoff meeting(s), clear communication and implementation (checklist). As we started setting up the system we came across little things (questions) which were answered quickly and professionally. A 10 for both product and support team.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

It took some time to figure out the maintenance settings. This can be set for ALL aircraft or per aircraft individually which was not very clear to me at the start. To be honest I did not read all the (good) documentation, so it may be in there already. If not, the FL team may want to consider how to communicate this a bit better. Support team did a great job helping me out, so no real issue.

Excellent software for Flight Schools

Kommentare: As above, this is a really great piece of software and is now the perceived industry standard for flight schools.

Vorteile:

The support is fantastic, whenever there is a rare minor issue, the customer service team is excellent in sorting it out. There are also regular updates, monthly or quarterly I believe which takes into account suggestions.

Nachteile:

It could be slightly more customisable from a user perspective. For example, we would like to have a few more fields on each user's profile but this doesn't seem to be possible.

FLIGHTLOGGER ATO excellent tool

Kommentare: Amazing support, exemplary, and always very frindly relationship.

Vorteile:

ATO oriented solution, easy to follow up and control compliancy of a trainee. Easy use of the system from the trainee.

Nachteile:

Not AOC oriented, means I need to use a second system for my company pilot's training follow-up. Program construction is quite challenging when you don't do it too regularly.

Limited options to select slot of planes and rooms (es. briefings); some bug fixes; documents area not really implemented.

An easily integrated system for novice aviation workers.

Kommentare: My overall experience with Flightlogger has been extremely positive. All the staff have responded promptly to any issues I have and have been extremely helpful. Even though the initial use of the application has been somewhat confusing, the tutorial videos and readily available support has made the learning process very smooth and ongoing.

Vorteile:

The way the application is laid out is very simple and easy to navigate. The user tutorial videos are simple and direct, enabling anyone to quickly understand the product. The customer service is fantastic, all my questions and requests have been addressed within a 24hr time frame. This provides me with strong confidence that any future issues will be addressed quickly as well.

Nachteile:

The most immediate feature I have not liked about Flight Logger is that the information integrated from Spidertracks is not automatically populated into the maintenance scheduling times for the aircraft activity status. I would also like to have a page showing all aircraft activity as it is registered from Spidertracks as either a table or some other visual representation, so I don't have to go into each aircraft separately in order to see what has been flown that day, regardless of it a booking has been made or not.

The Best Flying Training platform

Vorteile:

FlightLogger is the most comprehensive platform for FTO's. They cover the entire gamut of training, ranging from Ground Training to Flying Training.

Nachteile:

The maintenance module needs a lot of work. It's very basic.

Best ATO and CAT management tool

Kommentare: FlightLogger is an outstanding tool for managing ATO's flights and ground training programs. Also CAT ops flights can be managed with ease. Its user-friendly design and intuitive interface make flight logging and tracking effortless

ATO TRAINING FOR CADET PILOTS

Kommentare: Generally, Flightlogger is our company's main platform for all training progress monitoring and safe keeping. It reduces paper filing by at least 75%

Vorteile:

There are several features that make our organization more efficient and productive. Record keeping is safe and easily accessible.

Nachteile:

Some features example forecast of students meeting deadline in relation to aircraft/Instructor/fuel management is not available.

ATO using FlightLogger

Kommentare: User friendly and gives good overview. Good follow up and speedy response from the support team.

Vorteile:

Easy to use. Good graphic design. Good and speedy help from the support team.

Nachteile:

Booking and changing bookings (especially class bookings in the teoretical part of the training) are cumbersome. Changing between different sites are too cumbersome and timeconsumning. More choices needed for customer/student reports to be able to make usable printouts. Not able to book more than one instructor in the class theory bookings.

The Most Intelligence Features Ever Made in Aviation

Kommentare: I have smalls issues where i couldnt upload my profile picture. i send chat to flight logger to raise my issue. withing 10 minutes , flight logger solves my problem. really fast service. no need to wait que.

Vorteile:

Easy to access and I can say it is the most intelligence feature ever made to help pilots and the operator manage the operation such as schedules/ warning will appear if license expired anad so on.

Nachteile:

Need to put special column for chatting or get support so that it will be easy to find it. Maybe in future , there is "live chat" available.

The best you can get for your Flying Training needs

Kommentare: Enjoyed implementing it and using it. It is always fun to talk to the team. The software has been easily adopted, and is value for money.

Vorteile:

FlightLogger is one of the most cost-effective and easy to use tools. It was easy to set up with the help of the team, and the support is one of the best I have seen across industries. The system is easy to use, hence, easily adapted by new staff.

Nachteile:

Need better admin permission settings with segregation of a Super Admin and all the other admins. Need better reports and easier way to see info like daily/monthly/annual flying, etc for admins. Ground School requires an updated (expected in Q1 2024)

I can schedule the whole flight operation including Training Organisation and Simulator in 1 Tool

Nachteile:

Sometimes building training programmes is complicated and there is no overall library for training elements.

Top-tier Quality

Kommentare: FlightLogger is an extremely robust tool, simple to use and implement. We've been working with it for over 4 years now, and have essentially no complaints at all in terms of platform stability or bugs. It is an ingenious software which has become the centrepiece of our ATO.

Vorteile:

FlightLogger presents a simple user-interface with soft design that makes it an enjoyable experience for the people who, like me, use it everyday.

Nachteile:

The separation between theory and practical aspects of a program make it a bit challenging to use sometimes. It lacks an audit process for changes made: the inability to see whoever has made changes to a record is something that is quite important but still lacking. Finally, the API was introduced but the complex data structure and the choice of GraphQL have hampered better usage of the tool.

Nachteile:

I am using FlightLogger during flight lessons. Latest update has made a change in the time. When going OFF Block, only the ON block updates. This means the takeoff AND landing might be BEFORE OFF block. I suggest when activating OFF Block, all other times updates according to the planned program as before.

It really helps to organize your company activities, to plan your students courses and flying activities, being aware of certificates expiration and maintenance times and cycles.It really helps in your company global situational awareness and student progress.

Nachteile:

The theory clases should be included in the accounting module in order to offer a real integral software solution.We would like to be able to start a briefing lesson at the school using the computer, and continue in the airplane with a software continuity, without loosing all the info you entered from your pc when you access the same lesson from your phone.It might be nice to access the system from your phone with an App instead of a website.

FlightLogger is Incredible!

Vorteile:

The scheduling aspect of Flight Logger is extremely helpful for all those involved. It helps students and Flight Instructors remain on track for the entire course. It's also great that if an aircraft has a mechanical fault, the reporter can log this onto Flight Logger and the correct people will get the notification so regardless if we are working remotely we can still see the notification and take the necessary steps.

Nachteile:

A con at the moment is the difference in twilight and official night times in the UK. Support are extremely helpful and want to work with you to resolve the issue.

After years of use, I haven't found anything I didn't like.
