Kommentare: Nice and satisfying, I check my email daily, to give ample time to catch up on all the latest on topics of interest.

Vorteile:

What I like most about this program is the time it takes to collect all the posts on a topic (of interest to me).

Nachteile:

The accuracy of the results is not as it should be, as sometimes the results are far from (the designated topic).

The Best Alerts

Kommentare: I have had the best experience with Google Alerts I like knowning that I am protected and dot have to worry about hackers tryna get into my account.

Vorteile:

The most important thing that I love about Google Alerts is that, I get all alerts it could be a simple alert for anything. or an ad that pops up. or alerts that someone has tried to log into your Google account from an unknown device. i advise for the 2 step login.

Nachteile:

The only issue that I have with Google is that if you dont know your password or dont have the 2 step verification then it wont work.

Vorteile:

As a freelance marketer, as soon as I get a new client I set up alerts for their company name, a few core keywords in their sector and niche ones. I get alerts as they happen, which can drown you, but on the positive side you see so much. You get mentions of the brand, you see what competitors are doing, identify any theft of your content, and learn as well. It does pick up words and stuff that aren't always spot on, but to be honest it has broadened my media consumption.

Nachteile:

Only complaint is more the human nature effect of if I have a few 'less interesting' stories or mentions, my brain will file all of them for a week or so as useless. It can overwhelm, or sometimes daily alerts are too few but this isn't a product fault. I imagine paid for tools offer more customisation and heavier 'brand mentions' but for b2b this is plenty.

Google Alert helps in getting timely alerts, in a busy life. All important updates and alerts come right to our email as we set.

Nachteile:

I wish they had a timer to set a specific time to set an alert, as we might miss the alert in a mailbox, if it has a time-specific alert, then it helps the user to check the alert at their available time.

Google Alerts is the best, it gives me news of new content daily, which I want, the best thing is that its alert comes at the same time when we want it.

Nachteile:

The rest is fine Google Alerts, but sometimes it works in such a way that we want only blog content alerts, but videos are also included in it, due to which we also get confused.

The program was excellent, and because it is interactive, it informs users of upgrades.

I think we should send Pop-ups for the users because people are lazy to open their e-mails. They should change more colors and the make it more fun to use.

It is one of the most regular visiting application in my Mobile. I used to check for news alerts ,new competative exam schedule etc.

Nachteile:

There is no such least for the application i regularly use the Google alerts for more News update.

You could more easily get the information to edit the alerts created and your definitions of desire whenever you get some alert, leaving a tab asking your wish, so the alerts would be more dynamic and handled.

A Great Way to Keep Track of Industry Trends

Kommentare: Overall I have had a great experience with Alerts and I love that it comes free of charge. It really helps me to stay current with industry news and gives me ideas about what I can implement within my organization.

Vorteile:

I find it impressive that this product is made available for free. It's also very user-friendly, it took me all of two seconds to create alerts that help me keep track of trends in my industry. I also like how you can customize the frequency of these alerts so as to not flood your inbox.

Nachteile:

I'm very fond of using Alerts but I do wish there were more options in terms of the source. Most of the alerts are coming from web news but they are not being pulled from social media sources like Reddit which I find can also be a good information source.

Kommentare: I would have to say the overall experience with Google Alerts is great. I monitor a lot of trends for my business and this is a great option.

Vorteile:

Google alerts is so easy to use, a few clicks and you have it set up, in addition it is free to use. You can stay on top of the trends in your industry, the news, stocks, almost anything you need to know.

Nachteile:

I would be hard pressed to find any cons. The only con I can think of is, sometimes the alerts don't show up, especially the ones you are watching daily. Not sure what happens, but you might get the alert every other day, sometimes it will be 3-4 days.

I love the fact one will get notified about ANYTHING that a user sets alerts for. It's great to stay updated and informed.

Nachteile:

What I like least about Google Alerts is that it will notify you about a topic with an article, scholarly journal, etc that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. For instance, I will have "Wells Fargo" as my topic but will get articles "mentioning" it not just articles "about" it.

Let Google Alerts notify you for new content on the web

Kommentare: Overall Google Alerts has been very useful for me. Yes there was a bit of a learning curve, but it does what I need it to do.

Vorteile:

I love how I can set it and let it look for new content for me and it leaves me more time to do other things. Instead of having to keep coming back to a site for new content. Alerts watches them for me and lets me know when there is something new. Such a time saver!

Nachteile:

It doesn't really monitor Social Media. I have to be very specific of what I am looking for, otherwise Google will miss it or not get it right. But I've learned to work with it.

Alerts are IMPORTANT to Business!

Vorteile:

From setting up Google Alerts the emails came in to keep me on top topics of interest and as well as when my business is mentioned in other people's posting. This gives me in the moment reaction plans to get connected or correct misinformation.

Nachteile:

What I like least is it tends to pick up the word 'lifting up' when I have set it to 'L.I.F.T.(I.N.G.) Up' as this is part of my branding. It doesn't recognize punctuation.

Nachteile:

I have no complaints . I have not ran into any problems with this software.
