Loom lässt sich ultra einfach bedienen und vor allem: schnell an den Start bringen. Es löst genau den Pain, den es lösen soll: kinderleichte Bildschirmaufnauken

Nachteile:

Das Browser plug-in nervt manchmal in der Handhabung. Gewisse Einstellungen (zB Videoqualität) sind irgendwo anders versteckt

A valuable tool for newbies like me

Vorteile:

As a newbie working as a freelancer, I am sometimes having difficulty understanding the instructions given to me by my client. But with the help of Loom, my client is able to provide and guide me thru the process using screen recording. In that way, I am able to finish the task on time and accurately. And it saves time since I can just watch the video again without needing to call or talk with my client.

Nachteile:

The site sometimes crashes and the video recorder won't record despite clicking the button several times.

Easy to create and share

Kommentare: Overall my experience with look has been great. I really appreciate how easy it is to create a video of myself and share the link with others. I use Loom to send videos when I apply for jobs on Upwork and I have used them as training material as well. Before Loom I used YouTube and the process with YouTube is definitely more tideous. Loom is much more straightforward and simple to use.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

It was a bit tricky for me to learn how to switch from the circle in the video to a full screen video of myself. I think this transition can be easier.

Do NOT waste your money

Nachteile:

Absolute rubbish screen recording, 8/10 the video would not upload and countless emails to support never helped. The recover video does not work

Help Me, My Team, & My Clients Many Hours of Time

Vorteile:

The new AI powered features that have been added to the platform such as enhanced transcriptions, the new tagging feature that tags specific parts of your recording for easy review at a later date, and even the automatic video title generator so you do not have to create and modify a name for your recording anymore, if you chose not to. They all help me save a ton of extra time and adds new capabilities to my workflow, including my automated workflow through Zapier.

Nachteile:

I think it could use some better video editing and post-production capabilities. They have added some new features lately, but there are still a couple more that I would like to see, even on the free plans.

Loom is a Great Resource!!

Kommentare: It has saved me a lot of time and looks professional. I love being able to have links to specific folders or videos to share with others.

Vorteile:

I LOVE the record screen features. The mic/speaker quality is great, and I love being able to do just my screen or my screen and camera at the same time (picture in picture)

Nachteile:

This is probably more because of the type of tablet/laptop that I used, but sometimes if I held it wrong, it would record upside down. A feature where you could “flip” your video would be fantastic!

Kommentare: Overall, I reckon Loom's a bloody ripper for creating presentations, whether it's for solo gigs or group projects.

Vorteile:

Love how easy Loom is, mate. Unlike other software, it records my screen and webcam like a dream, so I'm not wasting time writing long emails.

Nachteile:

Nah, can't fault it. Loom's the ducks guts!

Excellent Screen Recording

Vorteile:

One of my favorite features of Loom is the live annotation tools. Highlighting the mouse clicks and being able to use a drawing tool is very useful in making demo videos.

Nachteile:

I would like to see more editing options on not behind the paywall. I would also like more advanced editing tools for completed videos.

Standardize processes with Loom

Kommentare: Loom has allowed me to store, organize, and share videos with my organization in a way that has allowed me to increase my productivity and my organization's results.

Vorteile:

At first I didn't see the potential, I saw it only as a way to respond to third parties, but now I see it as a way to solve challenges, report opportunities, and improve communication at all levels of my organization.

Nachteile:

The truth is that at first I thought it wouldn't be easy, but it was just a matter of ignorance. It was just a matter of watching a tutorial and that was it.

Great tool for training and reporting

Vorteile:

This is really easy to use to create training videos or even reporting back to clients. The AI description generator saves a lot of time too.

Nachteile:

Some of the editing functions aren't the best and you are limited on video times if you don't have a paid account

Loom preet good option

Kommentare: My overall experience has been very good. I love using it directly from my phone. I dislike that I cant download my videos with the free version.

Vorteile:

I like that Loom is so easy to use. You can record a video on your phone and then easily upload or send it to someone.

Nachteile:

I dont like that you can't download ypur video with the free version. I didn't know this until after I already did the video.

Loom for Screen Recording

Vorteile:

If you are looking for a tool to either record your screen to help users, communicate with your screen, or make a tutorial, Loom is a perfect option. I love that they recently added frames for your photo/small self-video, screens for explanations and that you can control which screen you share. The free version is 5 minutes or less, so if you need more time than time you will need to pay, but it is worth it.

Nachteile:

It might, in some cases, make my laptop (Mac) slower if I have it opened for too long. It gets fixed by closing and reopening it.

Loom makes my life so much easier ..

I love that I can share quick videos with my key account customers and my team. This helps me to save a lot of time and be more productive .. I just love it and I use every single day

Loom Review

Vorteile:

I have used Loom for bug reporting. It is a very useful product for bug reporting. I like mostly that Loom creates links and the record can see everybody that has the link. It is very easy to use to report bugs. My favorite screen recorder tool for testing.

Nachteile:

If I don't have the premium the records limits are very less.

Training and documentation made easier

Kommentare: Great tool, although there's always room for improvement.

Vorteile:

Loom makes training and collaboration super easy. It permanently lives on my desktop, in case I need to show a team member how to do something. I think any team with Customer Success activities or that works with multiple digital tools that require onboarding needs to use this.

Nachteile:

On Mac, it "bounces" off your Mac Deck frequently. It is always refreshing and it is distracting. Sometimes it doesn't save your preferences (such as recording with your mic off), but it is easy to adjust. Sometimes, it feels a little bit invasive. The Autotranscript is very useful, though most of the time is not 100% accurate or doesn't highlight the right topics.

You take it anywhere to use. Online!! Easy to transfer and convert!! Easy to record, edit, visual tools. Just a great product.

Nachteile:

I hate being recorded or on cameras!! It's the same for most products the retakes and editing. But everyone has to do it. Theirs was Easy!

Vorteile:

People appreciate Loom for its ease of use, quick video recording and sharing capabilities, and the ability to combine screen capture with webcam footage. It enhances remote communication effectively.So do I!

Nachteile:

Sometimes it's a bit buggy, to be honest. I've struggled a bit with the extension every now and then

Face to face human interactions in a time of remote work and hybrid work

Kommentare: Great experience, it allows me and my team to quickly share knowledge "face-to-face" anytime anyplace. We love the human, seeing someone's face, aspect.

Vorteile:

The chrome plugin is awesome as it provides easy access to Loom to make on the fly recordings, videos and step by step walk throughs to share with my team or clients.

Nachteile:

Even though the Plugin is great, it can freeze my browser for up to 10 seconds to load and then another few seconds to start recording. After creating a video, a personal dislike for myself, is managing permissions is not intuitive and a little confusing when I want to share certain videos and permissions with different stakeholders inside and outside my organisation.

Nachteile:

Loom could be more easily integrated to other systems, right now the links work overall well, but it could all be better.

Great screen recording software

Kommentare: Loom is a great platform to create video documentation of your processes, show something specific that a screenshot wont allow or just a way to use video to explain things to a team member or client.

Vorteile:

Loom is very easy to setup and use. The editing of your videos is simple and has no learning curve.

Nachteile:

I wish there was more functionality within the free version.

Really helpful tool for team training!

Vorteile:

I think Loom's super intuitive and straight forward. It's easy to set-up and easy to use and get going. Been really helpful for me when trying to train the team on different jobs. I can simply record a video when I'm doing the job anyway, and do a voiceover training the team as I go. Then I can send it out and they can watch it at their disposal.

Nachteile:

Nothing, it's a straight forward platform that does what it says on the tin.

The new AI transcription tool makes it much easier for our foreign team members to understand the voiceover from the video!

Nachteile:

Each start-up considers the pricing model of each tool, so perhaps having a more start-up-friendly option would have been beneficial.

Simple very effective

Kommentare: Would use again and again. Great product for tutorials

Vorteile:

A very simple interface with an easy to follow process. It recorded the whole screen and the audio came through great as well. Only needed to do one good recording so it wasn’t time consuming or inconvenient to start.

Nachteile:

The interface opens when I log into my computer and isn’t easy to exit out of.
