Outstanding Product and Customer Service

Kommentare: I have an overwhelming positive experience. We worked with [sensitive content hidden] for the 2nd year in a row. He was ALWAYS available to answer our many questions and the man is extremely professional and patient. Big reason we came back to GolfStatus. Also, the product works very well and have no reason to look outside of their services. Well done!

Vorteile:

The site is so easy to use for the end user and the admin user. I have everything I need via the web or the app. I received so many compliments on the ease of use for our supporters. I couldn't be happier.

Nachteile:

I would encourage you to look at the live scoring option a little easier to use. For instance, the "back and forward" arrows don't seem to work when you press with your finger on the phone. It was a bit clunky, but ultimately did work. The check-in and play option was a bit confusing to a new user. Maybe color code them a bit better for people just wanting to play asap.

Vorteile:

The staff is incredibly helpful, not only in creating your tournament site but also in educating our team on how to best use the software. We've used GolfStatus two years in a row at our charity golf fundraiser, and we couldn't be happier. Totaling scores and breaking flights at the end of the day is nothing more than clicking a button. Not to mention, the tools within the software for scorecards, golf cart signs, alpha lists, etc. make life easier for our organization and the golf course staff as well. GolfStatus is a true blessing to our organization!

Nachteile:

My only recommendation would be to overhaul the registration pages that our team captains and sponsors see when purchasing their packages. It works. There's no complaint there, but it isn't graphically pleasing to the eye. For such amazing software, it lacks a modern look.

3rd Year still using

Gold status keeps everything easy to use. Great for large tournaments from beginning to end.

Nachteile:

Getting users to have the app downloaded prior to check in.

Grip N' Rip Maui Loves Golf Status

Kommentare: Great customer service. Jon was assigned to me and was always available. He was always re-assuring me that we are in good shape and kept it upbeat and positive even when I was losing my mind. Response time before and after the tournament was great. Use of the emergency number helped.

Vorteile:

I love having control over the teams and making changes right away. There are so much more that I see we can do but I didn't dive into it but will surely be more into the system next year. Loved being able to print the lists as soon as making changes. I'll probably utilize the sign options more.

Nachteile:

I can't really say what I didn't like about it. We had a little hiccup, but it was more user error not being familiar with the system. Came up with a game plan for next year so we won't have that hiccup.

A return user!

Kommentare: From start to finish it was easy to work with GolfStatus. I have worked with them for 3 years and will continue to work with them for future golf events. The program is user friendly and when you need help, they are just an email away.

Vorteile:

The ease and convenience of the program to use. And, the amazingly fast response time of my contact (Jon S) to help with anything I needed.

Nachteile:

I can't think of anything I would change.

Great first experience!

Kommentare: [sensitive content hidden] was great! He was always available to answer questions and promptly return calls or emails. Anytime I needed to have a conference call, there was a virtual set up as well. Loved the instant reporting of how many golfers/sponsors I had signed up and how many spots were open.

Vorteile:

consistency with lists and reports QUICK service from the staff when I had questions.

Nachteile:

price of the credit card charges, but that is likely uncontrollable from GolfStatus. Technology sponsor was too expensive.

Vorteile:

Ease of access. Extremely user friendly.

Nachteile:

Adding players to a tournament is a bit time consuming. You can import from a list, but it would take just as long to filter list properly.

First time managing a golf tournament, done and check!

Kommentare: It was very good! I was thankful my new employer was already established with GolfStatus and had used them for the last two tournaments, so GolfStatus was also familiar with our organization. It made this "unfamiliar" world of golf for me easier to navigate!

Vorteile:

This was my first time organizing a golf tournament. I am not a golfer and even though I have managed countless events, this one felt intimidating to me. Jon from GolfStatus reached out to introduce himself to me and offer a tutorial of the platform which was super helpful and was very timely in responses to any questions I had throughout the months leading up to our tournament. The site was very intuitive and user friendly. The day after the tournament he sent an email asking how it went and offered to schedule a post-event debrief call, which we did. I learned about a feature that we didn't use this year but look forward to incorporating it into next years tournament.

Nachteile:

I don't have anything to compare this platform to, so I don't have anything that I didn't like about it! :)

Best Product on the Market

Vorteile:

I've used GolfStatus for four years. Tremendous customer service whenever needed. (and I've needed it!) Very easy to use in every step of the process. Our tournament is huge, with so many moving parts. GolfStatus has the features to handle all areas. I'm retiring this year, and will insist that my successor continue to use GolfStatus.

Nachteile:

Nothing comes to mind at this time. Big fan!

Best golf software to run your own tournament

Kommentare: 9.9/10 and dealing with [sensitive content hidden] makes it as good as it gets!

Vorteile:

Going ti online registration and payment has helped us go from 80 players total to 120. Just the ease of signing up online alone has gained us $3,000. We have a skins game two days of our 3 day tournament and it makes it so easy to automatically know what holes and who has skins.

Nachteile:

I wish we could customize our scorecard printouts to have players home town or home course below their name.

Golf Status for Golf Tournaments

Kommentare: Overall, the platform is great. We use it for our golf tournament and it a no brainer for us.

Vorteile:

It's easy to use, golf status is very helpful, and easy to work with.

Nachteile:

Some features could use some tweaking like the team construction page.

Makes managing a golf outing easy!

Kommentare: Overall, I feel lucky to have found this platform when I first started our annual outing. I had never run a golf outing and am not a golfer, so this make it really easy.

Vorteile:

I like that it is structured specifically for golf outings and gives you all of the tools and reports you need to be organized and professional. I always get comments on how well our outings are run and Golf Status plays a huge part in that.

Nachteile:

I would like the option to list sponsors according to their sponsorship level. It just groups them all together and doesn't allow us to recognize the different levels.
