The responsiveness and support of the team is quite incredible. It is also wonderful to have a very good integration into quickbooks. I also like the API - it is very simple and reliable.

Not much - Novi is developing rapidly - so some things that were not so good 6 months ago have already been worked on based on feedback - and new features are added all the time

Kommentare: We are a hybrid professional organization with a mix of individual and corporate members. We went live with Novi in Dec 2021. 1. AMS selection process: exceptional. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team were exceptionally open, transparent, patient, and diligent when answering our questions, providing us with demos, and ensuring that we had an accurate grasp of Novi's capabilities during our AMS selection process. Our selection process narrowed down to 4 finalists and Novi was a late and uncertain entry but ended up finishing at the top of the pack with a significant advantage. 2. AMS implementation and onboarding: Fantastic. Novi managed the entire project via Asana and our team became part of that Asana project with all milestones, deadlines and deliverables clearly marked. Novi's team stayed on task and on time and our implementation slipped by only 2 weeks from an original estimate of 3 months. The slippage was mostly on us and due to Thanksgiving holidays falling near the end and our staff taking time off. Exellent project management and leadership from Novi's team. 3. Early support: Naturally shortly after the implementation there is a lot of need for hand-holding. Novi's team excels at that. Novi's documentation and online help are excellent and more often than not we were able to self service. 4. Life on Novi: it won't come to surprise to anyone that there will be things you can't accomplish on any system the way you want to accomplish them. With that being said Novi's tea

Novi does not try to do too many things inside one system. It focuses on member management and transactions, events, and ease of integrations with other best of breed systems. This allows us to built the optimal business IT ecosystem comprised of focus-built system each of which is best in what it does and fits our requirements. Spectacular customer service and support. Hands down the best I have experienced.
Nachteile:
Nothing really comes to mind. My very esoteric need is to easily replicate production environment into staging. This is not really supported in an automated way.

Novi AMS Review
Vorteile:
Novi is a great tool for event creation and member management. The two work hand in hand so you are able to manage individual's attendance, membership status and dues!
Nachteile:
The novi guest profile features do not reset/include information once connected to an account.

Time Saver
Kommentare: Novi AMS is truly designed for the unique world of associations. Onboarding was simple and the staff is incredibly helpful. You can actually talk to a real person! I can't imagine ever moving away from Novi AMS.
Vorteile:
Novi AMS is such a huge time saver for me and my team! Unlike having multiple programs and spreadsheets to complete daily activities such as event registrations, membership types, website, accounting, etc-Novi is a one-stop-shop! With Novi AMS, adding a new member is a one-place entry! No more multiple sites and excel files to update! Using this software has freed up time for us to focus on the impactful aspects of our jobs.
Nachteile:
Nothing comes to mind! Once I sat in on the demo of Novi, I was sold!

NOVI AMS and why you should choose it.
Kommentare: The ease of use with NOVI is amazing. it's so user friendly and always improving. The NOVI team is amazing they really listen to your concerns and feedback. Unlike other database systems I've used, I'm not trying to find something better - I've found it.

The way it integrates with QuickBooks and ease of tracking payments and memberships. it's great for events and advertising. Ease for member use also.
Nachteile:
I don't really have any cons. i am annoyed that i have to get a text every time I log into the database, and no one seems to have fix. it's ok but when you're on a plane and want to work you can't get a text.

I can see how the two-factor authentication text option would not be ideal when on a plane. I'll email you separately about setting up 2FA via an authenticator app instead which should get you back to working in the air!

I really like that you can easily pull data from users. As well as being able to create groups, this allows us to narrow down our target audience of members to ensure that we are getting the appropriate messaging to the right people.
Nachteile:
I haven’t been using long so I am still learning so don’t have anything negative to say at the moment

NOVI AMS is AMAZING!
Kommentare: NOVI AMS has been a pleasure to work with. Their yearly conference is a must attend event. At the conferene they work hand in hand with their users to elevate our experience with the product and give us the opportunity to vote on which new features to implement next.

NOVI AMS is intuitive and very easy to learn and use. Event set up is quick and the group and reporting features make budget projections a breeze!

I love everything about NOVI! If I ever do encounter an issue their team responds asap to help resolve the issue.

Novi & it's Staff are the BEST!
Vorteile:
My most favorite feature of NoviAms is the Help Center! The staff members in the Help Center are so very important to me since I am a one-person office and have no other staff members to assist when I have questions. The Help Center staff members are always so very helpful when I have questions regarding any process(es) in our Novi System, and if they don't have an immediate reply regarding my questions, they will have a replly usually within an hour. And if they don't have an answer for me immediately, they will always research the issue(s) regarding my question and get back to me with an answer shortly. These staff members are The Best of the Best!
Nachteile:
I can't think of anything at this time that I don't like about Novi!

We love our website and feel like our membership appreciates the look and ease of use on the front end of the site. We appreciate the innovations that Novi continues to do to make our program better.

Our favorite thing about this software is its ease of use and the detailed information we are able to input. The integration with Quickbooks and Constant Contact are fabulous!
Nachteile:
Sometimes I find the report criteria confusing, but it is probably just above my understanding level. Reconciling the bank statement with the stripe fees is a little confusing because everything doesn't always match up perfectly.

Easiest software implementation ever!
Kommentare: The entire team form sales to training and conversion were amazing. By then end of the timeline, they felt like friends. The continued support through their Intercom tool is fast, and you always get the answers you need.
Vorteile:
The website development and subsequent management was hands-down the biggest asset. In addition, having all my member data in one location increased efficiency and freed me to focus on other things.
Nachteile:
Not one con to this product at all! I have not found one component that doesn't fully meet & exceed my expectations.

No one wants to do a data migration, but it's SO worth it!
Kommentare: I have been so very pleased with Novi. The team is great. They are always there if you need support, and they are also so proactive in improving the software and user experience. I would recommend Novi to anyone!
Vorteile:
I find that Novi integrates so seamlessly with Quickbooks and our constant contact to be the most helpful feature. Having programs that speak to one another just really helps to keep everything organized and streamlined. The streamlining process removed a lot of potential for human error out of our business model, and it also helped to increase our revenue. Novi frees up our time to help focus more on growing our membership, and it also has great opportunities to create some non-dues revenue.
Nachteile:
They are always looking for ways to help improve the software, so sometimes there is a little bit of a learning curve to figure out the new offerings. While it can be annoying to have to learn something new, it's always great when you master the new skill. They are always focusing on improving!

Kommentare: Since using Novi, we are way more confident in the data we pull. Monthly membership reports use to be my least favorite thing to do, now its a piece of cake thanks to Novi!
Vorteile:
First, our website looks great! As for the program itself, we are able to get most of the information needed when it comes to monthly reporting to the board. This was the main reason for switching.
Nachteile:
I'm assuming, because it's new there are a few bugs that have to be worked out, but they are great at helping out. Overall, my least favorite was the data import when you first start. It was very tedious and time consuming.

Great product for Associations!
Kommentare: Over all my experience with Novi has been stellar. The customer service is invaluable and the integrations with MailChimp saves me time and effort.
Vorteile:
There are many great features of Novi, but the best features are the integrations with QuickBooks. The product significantly decreased the reconciliation time we had to spent each month.
Nachteile:
Some of the features that have been requested are taking sometime to come out in the updates which can be frustrating.

Kommentare: The customer service and onboarding team with Novi AMS has been great. We are a trade association for door-to-door sales professional and are just starting up. Novi has been great setting things up with us and helping us to make some decisions. We were working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and she is incredibly helpful and responsive. She definitely made the process as seamless as it could be.
Vorteile:
The back-end of the software is incredibly easy to use for administrative users. The integration with Quickbooks has been been incredible and flawless so far.
Nachteile:
The templates with the website are not as malleable as we would like. All the content is editable and very easy to change, but there were some things about the layout that I wish had more flexibility.

Vorteile:
There are a million reasons why we chose and continue to choose NOVI for our association management software. First and foremost, the customer service is bar none. Have a feature you really care about but cant find? They will personally help you find it or submit it as a suggestion for future updates. NOVI is one of the few companies I've felt like actually cares about me after the sale has gone through. We've been customers for over 5 years and have loved every minute of it. The platform is easy to use and reliable. It makes my job so much easier knowing I don't have to worry about our website. These guys are fantastic, I recommend them to everyone in search of an AMS!
Nachteile:
The only complaint here would be our association's need for specific features to be included. I say this full well knowing how incredible the team is at adding new features and listening to what we care about most. No doubt we will see these features at some point.

NOVI Makes it Easy
Kommentare: Easy to link to other platforms we use such as Mail Chimp, Quickbooks and Constant Contact. User friendly.
Vorteile:
The ease of use for the administrators on the back end and for our members on the front end. Easy to naviagte and explain to others. NOVI staff is there with any questions or concerns and answers quickly.
Nachteile:
Integration was not as smooth as could be, but NOVI staff has been there to guide us every step.

Novi AMS has hands down the BEST customer support. Between their online support center, which is jam packed with helpful articles about almost every topic, to their live chat support, no question has gone unanswered. And they're always improving. They listen to their customers and take action - we love to see it!
Nachteile:
As a graphic designer with very little coding knowledge, it's been quite the learning curve to have our website appear exactly how we want it. I'm still learning but the Novi support team has been incredibly patient and helpful in this journey.

The clear choice for our organization
Kommentare: We were maintaining or organization with a myriad of moving parts, open source applications, WordPress, you name it. Novi allowed us to integrate everything together in one system that as a volunteer organization will be easier to maintain going forward and easier to train others, as members come in or move on.
Vorteile:
The onboarding process was top notch, Novi's staff was amazing. They're always willing to help and listen to ideas too. The software was fairly intuitive to us as we started managing our content and members. Integration with MailChimp has made contacting our members such a breeze.
Nachteile:
Integration with our social media accounts would be huge for us, and I'm hoping they're working towards that soon.

Engaging software for membership
Kommentare: NOVI has helped us solve many of the issues that we have had in the past, NOVI has a solution for it. IF they Don't, NOVI Finds one!!! With NOVI you really have a partnership. One that is there for nonprofit trade organizations.

Great Option for a Smaller Association
Kommentare: I cannot say enough about the Novi team and the process from start to launch. Their approach to our project was thoughtful and incredibly organized with milestones and check-ins throughout. A project of this size can quickly become overwhelming but Novi's support and regular outreach kept us focused and moving forward. We are a small staff with tech-savvy limitations and Novi was there for us every step of the way. This product was created for an association like ours. Post launch Novi continues to provide regular roundtables on their products and open forums to discuss any issues and get your questions answered.
Vorteile:
We're a few months in to using Novi's AMS and are thrilled with the result. As a membership association with a small staff, it was imperative that we identified a product that was easy to understand, seamless to train our staff across the board and customizable based on our unique needs. Novi's AMS solution really delivered. The main database dashboard provides an easy-to-understand overview of membership numbers and income. From there, you can quickly dive into groups, events, ecommerce, blogs and more that can be customized for your organization. The website is my favorite part. We were using a clunky, custom-build from a decade ago and the capabilities we have with Novi's product are unparalleled. We needed a solution that we could roll-out quickly and Novi had our entire new system up and running in just a few months. The interaction within the various cogs of the system has been seamless and the ability to link to Constant Contact has cut down on staff time.
Nachteile:
We're really still in the discovery phase for everything Novi has to offer. Our association has some incredibly nuanced membership categories and ecommerce packages that required workarounds or an additional brainstorming session to identify if these "special cases" still serve our membership's needs. Whenever we hit a potential roadblock, the Novi team was incredibly patient and went back to the drawing board multiple times to suggest potential solutions. We really kept the mindset of, if a solution couldn't be found within Novi, it's probably something we shouldn't be doing anyway. Approach any roadblocks with the software with new solutions for your association and it's a win-win.

I couldn't be more pleased with NOVI.
Kommentare: NOVI has brought our association into the 21st Century. On the administrative side, I love the ease of updating and adding new features to my website to keep it current. I can't say enough about the interfacing of NOVI, Quickbooks, events, and dues collection. This is such a time saver! The members of our association really seem to love it. They can log in to see the member/vendor portal, sign up for events, pay dues and see their education credits. We are definitely happy customers!
Vorteile:
Integration was pretty straightforward and simple. The NOVI team worked with me every step of the way to make sure we were getting everything we needed to get started. Onboarding was a lot less painless than I initially expected. I'm not extremely tech-savvy and even I think it is manageable and easy to use.
Nachteile:
I honestly think of anything that NOVI is lacking. Anytime I can't figure something out there are plenty of short help articles to guide me. If I do have to reach out to the time at NOVI, they are very timely and make sure that I have exactly what I need to move forward.

Novi Surprised Me
Kommentare: I came from a salesforce database, which I loved, so I complained about Novi for a while, but then I realized that Novi could do everything saleforce did, except WAY better because I could customize the program in ways I never imagined. With salesforce, I had to find and hire a consultant who would take weeks to change a field, or write a report, or fix a marketing cloud bug. On the other hand, Novi provides flexibility without complicating the programming. I continue to be impressed by its functionality and its product improvements. I wish more AMS's had this culture of continuous improvement and user-centric vision.
Vorteile:
My favorite thing about Novi is its ease of use. We have a very diverse staff and everyone can use it to increase their productivity and streamline their processes. Our members also appreciate the visibility they have into their company portfolios.
Nachteile:
I really like Novi. Trust me, if there was something I didn't like, you'd know about it and then it would be fixed shortly because that's what y'all do. You make it hard to complain and I do like to be the squeaky wheel :)
