Die Buchhaltung und Steuererklärung ist schon super. Also ist schon alles einfach dargestellt.
Nachteile:
Für die neue Rechnungen gibt es gar keine Probleme. Aber manche alte Rechnungen könnten nicht importiert werden. Sonst finde ich alles super

It's been a learning curve, but I am getting there. TaxDome has always offered lots of help and has an academy where you can learn at your own pace. Overall, it is a great product. They listen to their users, add their desired features, and request whenever possible!
Nachteile:
The only negative aspect is the cost. For a one-person accounting firm like mine, the price is alot for one product.

2025 Tax Dome Review
Kommentare: We have been using Tax Dome for approximately three years. Besides our tax software, most everything we do for firm management and service delivery is done via Tax Dome. We were able to self-service most of the set-up and annual maintenance, supported by helpful online support videos and our dedicated technical rep.
Vorteile:
Tax Dome presents an all-in-one solution for firms, eliminating the need to have various fragmented software to manage clients, workflow, electronic signatures, communications and document storage. Their customer support is great as well!
Nachteile:
Right now there are very few things I dislike. Nothing that is notable.

Perfect for a Single Person Office hundreds of miles away from clients
Kommentare: This is my second year using TaxDome, and I am looking forward to using it again. I love how it helps me stay on track to service my clients hundreds of miles away as a sole practitioner.
Vorteile:
I can keep track of which clients are ready for me to start preparing their tax returns. This is a great help for a single person office who needs to keep track of clients and their documents. It helps me focus on a single client at a time and not have to work on returns multiple times, as documents come in one at a time.
Nachteile:
The learning curve for setting up the pipeline that would work best for my practice. Eventually, I got it and now it is easy to go in and make adjustments as necessary.

We like that we can have our client portal, our client communication, and our workflow management all in one place.
Nachteile:
From an account owner perspective: I don't love that I can't switch an annual subscription to a monthly subscription. From a user perspective: the calendar feature crashes the system when I try to use it. Also, it would be helpful to see the next recurrence of a job to make it easier to plan ahead (I understand this is on the roadmap).

Vorteile:
Honestly, everything about it! From sending out your engagement letters, setting up pipelines, assigning tasks and jobs to your team members, bulk emailing clients, setting budget times on jobs/tasks. This program is everything a boutique accounting firm needs if you do tax preparation, sales tax, payroll, 1099-filings, bookkeeping, and so much more.
Nachteile:
There are very few things i dont like about TaxDome, as they are a young company, I find that they are constantly improving and will come out with new and improved tools to help businesses such as ours. I'm excited to see these improvements and utilize them within our firm. If there is any "con/s" I would primarily say it comes from you taking a vast amount of time (depending on how many clients you have) to get everything fully set up in the program. Ex. Client list/contact info, Engagement letters if you have a lot of different engagements, pipelines, jobs, tasks, automations, emails, etc. It takes a lot of work and your valuable time to get things where you dream and aspire to be but thats where you need to bite the bullet and put in the work to improve your business and I believe the end result will pay off 10-fold! So take the time to learn the program, watch the videos, prepare for your onboarding meetings by watching the webinars so you have good questions to ask and even better catering those questions to YOUR business. How your clients would feel. Of course, there will be hicups along the way, it wont be "perfect" the first go around but thats how we learn and become better! Highly recommend taking your valuable time (business owners and all) to learn it, tweak it, cater it to your clients, and test it all on yourself so you can "see" what the clients will see.

Mostly satisfied
Kommentare: TaxDome is our go to program. Having an app that clients can use on their phone is key. We have been using TaxDome for 2 years now after trying many other popular workflow and secure portal programs. We have liked TaxDome the best out of all we have tried. The recent multiple price increases are what has kept me from giving it 5 stars. For a small firm it is becoming price prohibitive.
Vorteile:
TaxDome is easy to use. The majority of our clients love it and it is easy for them to use. Having an app they can use on their phone is key. We have been using TaxDome for 2 years now after trying many other popular workflow programs. We have liked TaxDome the best out of all we have tried.
Nachteile:
Price increase after selling it as no increases on price for those that came on in the beginning. The price of the program is getting high and we may have to begin looking for another program. Problems/glitches in the program that are reported by users and no followup or resolving the issue. Adding new "features" when existing features need to be updated or worked on.

TaxDome is great for Accounting firms.
Kommentare: My overall experience has been good for my small firm with the ease it was to transition to and ease of use. My clients have not had a hard time using the software and have had good compliance and decent feedback with it.
Vorteile:
I love the firm templates that you can create for organizers, emails, communications, proposals, etc. I like that clients can do everything in TaxDome from uploading information, sign for returns, pay invoices, message our team. I love the feature that you can for a client to pay an invoice before they can access their tax documents which ensures for good collection purposes.
Nachteile:
What I like the least in TaxDome is that rolling over organizers to the next year is not as robust as I would like. Also, the integration with Stripe and QuickBooks is good, however, when clients pay me via ACH or with bank information, I have to go through a whole process with Stripe and the client verifying the transaction before I can get paid. So now all I can accept is credit card because that is the least hassle to get paid.

Great Program
Kommentare: My overall experience with TaxDome was very good. If I wasn't merging in with a larger firm I would absolutely continue to use it and would highly recommend to anybody that is looking for a firm management software. Customer service is quick to respond and they are constantly making improvements.
Vorteile:
The program is easy to use once you have it setup the way you want it. There are tons of features to make it scalable for almost any size practice. Time tracking, invoicing, cloud storage and more all in one place. It really does make running a practice easier.
Nachteile:
The only negative for me is the amount of time it takes to get it setup the way you want it. Once you do, it's smooth sailing from there.

Customize TaxDome to Fit Your Process

Customization is the key to make TaxDome work for any size firm. It also has a lot of features, like CRM, document storage, signatures, payment processing - all under one "dome".
Nachteile:
The number of clicks it takes to pull up information or to navigate. Sometimes, clicking a link takes you away from the screen you were on and it's takes too many clicks to get back to where you were originally. TD is improving every day so it's just a matter of time for this to no longer be an issue.

We use TaxDome as both a PMO tool & Client Portal. The ability to automate tasks and send messages & emails to clients is huge. I also like the client facing options available, for ex. the action updates & client tasks. TaxDome has also been constantly updating & adding new features.
Nachteile:
- Inability to integrate with other apps- through Zapier or otherwise. -Cannot add packages to proposal - No option to switch the client option to pay CC fees -Wish the Organizer was more intuitive and could recognize PY data & sync.

Vorteile:
I like that TaxDome allows for the auto-draft of recurring invoices. I also like that I can organize my chats by topic, allowing me to locate a conversation easily.
Nachteile:
What I like least is that the templates aren't searchable and can't be filtered. I have to scroll through all of them to find what I am looking for. It would also be nice to be able to filter by preferred language.

Kommentare: overall great platform. There's obviously there's room for improvement but the team is very good at updating the software to address the problems. Also customer service and support is amazing.

Tax organizer is hard to navigate for most clients. Also the template tax organizer is missing some crucial information and has typos/errors.

It's as close to an all-in-one solution as I can find. While it is great for taxes it is also great for bookkeeping, payroll, and monthly services.

Everything You Need in One Place!
Kommentare: I have been with TD for at least 3 years now. Being able to invoice, provide documents and request e-signature, as well as store all information (with or without client access) is a game-changer for my firm.

Linking invoice to document to be paid before client has access to documents
Nachteile:
I would love to have a button within the client's portal to initiate a scan for upload to the portal. Right now I have to scan a document to a file on my computer then initiate the upload.

Loves TaxDome and the Tools it Includes!
Kommentare: The educational material and videos are great and I have been able to implement what I want without having to call customer support. When I have needed something, someone has been able to point me in the right direction quickly.
Vorteile:
The ability to have all of my records and tools in one place! The PDF editor is a great addition. Also, getting KBA signatures from clients is super easy.
Nachteile:
I can't think of any REAL drawbacks. I don't especially think the client type field is necessary or useful.

Great Portal for Tax Clients
Kommentare: After the set up it has been great to use but still can be a challenge to remember everything each year.
Vorteile:
Easy to use and integrates with my tax software with no issues.
Nachteile:
It is expensive on small businesses. It is hard to learn how to set up everything. I hate that clients can see when you put stuff in the trash since they think you need it and you know you don't. I wish it was easier to close each year.
