"Easy web-based management solution"

Vorteile: There are a lot of different ways to interact with the managed devices, and most things happen in real-time. It’s a powerful management system that lets us manage iPads, mac minis, and iMacs within our district.

Nachteile: Occasionally there are hiccups between Mosyle and the iTunes store and apps simply don’t get pushed out to a device. When this happens, there is no clear way to fix the solution other than trying a whole bunch of different things until they download. Overall, though - very few frustrations with Mosyle.

"Easy to Use MDM"

Kommentare: Mosyle has been great, and makes device management easy for large and small deployments.

Vorteile: The interface is very accessible compared to most MDMs. It puts things in clear, concrete terms instead of obfuscating common workflows behind jargon.

Nachteile: It is well integrated with Apple, but that means you have to deal with some of the wonky API choices Apple made when you need to push apps.

"Great software for MDM"

Vorteile: Relatively simple set up. MDM is NOT simple, there are many steps that must be done, but the guided setup Mosyle created really does help.

Nachteile: Applying profiles to devices could be easier. Sometimes commands aren't sent to devices and there is no profile collision detection (if profile settings would conflict I should get an alert so I can fix)

"Mosyle Review"

Kommentare: Overall, Mosyle is a great management platform for Apple products. It was recommended to us by our Apple rep as a product to try out and I am glad we did. We are saving money and able to manage our Apple devices now.

Vorteile: We began to look at Mosyle when we needed a remote management solution for our iPads. They have two tiers. There is a free version and a paid version. We are currently using the free version. The free version met our needs as we really just needed to push out the installation of certain apps. The free version does this as well as a few other things like setup security and wifi authentication. You can not run scripts in the free version. You do need the paid edition to do this as well as install pkg files. If you also need active directory integration, you will require the paid version as well. Compared to other solutions out there, the paid version is a bargain. Support was excellent and the onboarding process was easy.

Nachteile: We did have some trouble at first following along how they have their functions organized. We were more use to using the JAMF interface and so this took some getting use to and it wasn't always intuitive to figure out where things were. But, Support was excellent and always helped us through any issues we had.
