Easy way to manage digital signage

Vorteile:

I had found it easy to set up and it worked without issues from the first attempt at use. Learning curve was very gentle.

Nachteile:

There is no option to outright buy the service, I have tried to recommend this product to many of my clients and the subscription model put them off.

Telemetry TV is Integral to all our Media Devices

Kommentare: TTV is a very handy tool to monitor and control all our streaming devices. It's great.

Vorteile:

We recently expanded our use on TTV to not only monitor and control our media players at several thousand locations, but we also started using it for our touchscreen exam room devices. I love the versatility of the Telemetry platform.

Nachteile:

I wish it retained the ability to toggle back and forth between the two different networks we use it for.

Raised the price for a product that is not worth it

Kommentare: Not worth 66.00 a month, period. it was worth the 20 I was paying. but there is no way it is worth 66 a month, still doesn't connect to office365 properly, still zoomed in when linking google sheets or other web pages. Still crashes on android devices after a few days

Doesn't link properly with office 365 Doesn't link to webpages properly you lose access to shared files constantly the android app constantly crashes always zoomed in no way to zoom out, only works properly with google slides. They raised the price from 20.00/mo to 66.00/mo and haven't fixed any reported issues.

It was easy to use, and clear step by steps Interface is easy to view and set up is simple and smooth. Able to view the media before publish

Plan is good but you really have to budget your company of exactly what you want and the license Wish there was a flexibility of choosing the plan that matches the need and requirement for your company when purchasing the hardware make sure you know where it is coming from. depending on your location they may not send it from Canada to Canada, might be handy to ensure you have broker person on hand if coming from State to Canada or Canada to State

Mitchell's Epic Review

Kommentare: The free version was divine, but that no longer applies. Still, it is a good enough product I made an annual payment to keep the product. As an educator, I would love to present about this product at technology conferences, if I could score a complimentary subscription.

Vorteile:

TelemetryTV takes care of all my needs for my school's digital signage. It is seamless and easy to implement, and secure. My district allows this product over the many other that it tends to block.

Nachteile:

Canva used to have full support, but I can no longer create new Canva pages, and can only use the page I have previously produced.

No regrets....great system!

Kommentare: great experience. Wouldn't have any problem recommending the program to others managing display screens. The live demo was very helpful in deciding which system to go with and the staff have answered all my questions. Enjoying working with the systems.

Vorteile:

TelemetryTV is very easy to use. I do a lot of work on CANVA and it integrates so well with the TelemetryTV interface. Still learning a lot about the program but so far it has proven to be easy and intuitive to use.

Nachteile:

Wish there were more specific videos on the system. There are several out there but looking for more specifics.

Our go to digital signage solution

Kommentare: Been using Telemetry for over a year now on multiple screens. It is flexible and reliable while still being easy to use

Vorteile:

Telemetry gives me great flexibility right out of the box. I can run templates or customise my own slides. Easy to use, quick to set up.

Nachteile:

Working in a web GUI can sometimes be a bit limiting. The native app fixes this problem so maybe consider that for more complex templates.

Cost Effective

Kommentare: Overall, I am very satisfied with this platform. It has multiple uses that makes it so much easier and more cost effective to use.

Vorteile:

Telemetry makes its so simple to display Key metrics to our associates on the floor. This enables them to make critical decisions to ensure our products flows at the correct rate. It also is the best way to display any news to our associates that they would need to know without having 1 on 1's.

Nachteile:

Con would be that I can not display the full screen of goggle sheets. It only shows a small window.

Telemetry TV use in school

Kommentare: I have used TelemetryTv for over 5 years. I cast it from a computer in my classroom to a tv in our school lobby. The presentation that is displayed is our weekly calendar of school events, special upcoming events, the weather and anything else my principal deems necessary.

Vorteile:

I am tech savvy but not trained in any educational technology. However I am able to use this platform to display weekly calendar, events. weather in a welcoming way as people enter our school.

Nachteile:

My only issue is that the more devices I stream to the more I have to pay.

Vorteile:

The application is easy to use and maintain the TV boards. Support is fast and helpful.

Nachteile:

I don't have any Cons. This product has been stellar for us.

Very easy to use

Vorteile:

You can do a lot with Telemetry. I use it for 5 tv screens to keep our employees updated with important information. We have an office in Taiwan and we are able to link it with ours so they stay updated also.

Nachteile:

Sometimes when you save a tv screen and click something else too soon, it doesn't save and all of your work is gone.

Excellent product & ease of use

Vorteile:

Easy to implement and full control of multiple displays from one application. It works as promised, that's the most important thing. Adjusting content is fairly easy. As a result, the content is actually adjusted weekly and we always show reliable information. Result? a lot of positive feedback from visitors and employees about the content on our welcome screens.

Nachteile:

Use of HTML formating would be nice to get full control of text elements. Date/time scheduler is not realy handy, could be done better. Having said that, nothing to worry about!

Great Addition To Our School!

Kommentare: Love it! Students, Teachers and Parents are much more likely to look at our new digital Bulletin Board than paper posters or emails!

Vorteile:

Very Easy to Use! Lots of Options to enhance our daily communications. Being in an Elementary/Middle School situation, the kids love the visual impact as they pass by each day. Being integrated with so many applications is wonderful! Keeping it fresh and fun is easy!

Nachteile:

I am a new user and haven't had any cons yet.

We primarily use Telemetry the host of analytics this systems are able to support. Keeps both our US and Canadian company in synch.

Constantly Improving

Kommentare: My first real experience with Telemetry was dealing with their support team. I jumped into the product with no experience and limited knowledge. I had never even used a competitor, so I reached out to the support team to get help and was immediately impressed. Support responds within minutes and gives thorough and helpful answers. They also pointed me toward their extensive list of help articles.

Vorteile:

TelemetryTV is constantly improving. They continuously release new features, enhancements and fixes for their software. The solution is fully cloud based, so these new features are delivered in real time. The product was great when I first started using it, but it has improved dramatically over the 14 months. You're not just paying for what the product is today, but you're investing into something that will be improved over time. That gives me more confidence as I continue to put time into the product. I don't feel like I'm poised to outgrow this solution. TelemetryTV has a very short learning curve. It is easy to use, change and adapt. I appreciate the fact that you can quickly use the simple features, but there is a huge amount of flexibility and options that you can grow into as you move forward.

Nachteile:

When I first started with the product, I had a few issues getting things going. There are so many options for devices and slide design that I wasn't really sure where to get started. What really helped me get over the top was reaching out to support and the extensive help library I found.

Modern design and clear, very easy to understand (not only made for an IT team), powerful widgets (Canva...), and already prepared Widgets with several parameters

Nachteile:

I tested lot of software like this one. There are some things which can be added to be the best dynamic screen solution. PDF widgets with Zoom + page choice Powerpoint + page choice Google Slide ... should be possible not to share in public (but with an account) Read Excel or sheet file to show dynamic screen. Exemple : timetable for a train, the plateform number could be changed by reading an sheet file Other exemple : a list of anniversary in a excel file or a database to show the birthday of the collegues Animation of items to make a page more dynamic... ....

Excellent Customer Service and love the software

Kommentare: The Auto Update has been very helpful so we don't have to travel to update. It also has a very easy to learn system and simple layout!

Vorteile:

Easy to use and a lot of different features that are available. I also love that you can use Canva and edit very easily.

Nachteile:

Maybe if you have a lot of content playing through your playlist, to have an overall viewing of what is playing to broaden your view. Just to see things that are playing easier, instead of the scroll down.

Excellent Product - Solves So Many Issues

Vorteile:

The ease of use in getting a message onto the screens is so user friendly and super intuitive. The software is designed with the end user in mind. Instead of a series of convoluted and confusing steps in putting together digital signage together, TelemetryTV made a very straight forward platform that anyone can use with minimal training or practice. The cloud based nature of the platform allows the users such ease in producing digital signage without any limitations to a single work station with special software installed.

Nachteile:

I do not have any serious issues with the platform - it is overall a solid product.

Vorteile:

TelemetryTV makes it easy to set up and deploy digital signage across our campus. Thanks to TelemetryTV my team and co-workers have been able to spread important transportation information and news while providing welcoming signage. The customer service is quick to respond and the various forums provide helpful information. Plus the development team listens to user suggestions and provides regular updates.

Nachteile:

I wish the updates provided detailed informatio on what was updated or removed. Currently, the updates only alert users of the availability of an update but provide no other information.
