Having used myMEDiSET extensively for the past 5 years, it has driven standardisation which has created efficiencies in process.
The software is easy to use as the functionality matches SAP
Vorteile:
myMEDiSET works seamlessly with our regional SAP ERP solution with complete asset integration. Full traceability of every aspect of the life cycle of sets and components from creation to deployment, modification and disposition.
Nachteile:
Functionality pertaining to customer consignment invoicing and replacement is not as streamlined as loan set processes.

Does exactly what is says on the tin
Vorteile:
Having been introduced to myMEDISET 2+ years ago, and seen first hand how some companies try/struggle to handle (literature) the loaner process with a mix of applications (e.g. SalesForce, SAP, EXCEL, etc.) I can fully appreciate the solution and the benefits (validated environment, ease of use, real-time date/information just a click away) the end-user gained by introducing/implementing myMEDISET to their existing SAP environment. The myMEDISET tree is very intuitive and logical structured, and I find it allows user to complete execute a full loaner life-cycle based on the tree structure. I was involved now in several projects with the consultants from BIT, and found them always as very competent and helpful. Please keep in mind that this is not a sales pitch, but I found they always gone the extra mile/s.
Nachteile:
I would like to see in the solution a function, which allows the user to find hints and tricks to optimize their daily work.

Mymediset in J&J LATAM
Vorteile:
It has great capabilities and acceptable level of controls for the company. Also integration with SAP is done with end-to-end SC and finance solution that facilitates and contributes to the business processes.
Nachteile:
Maintenance and enhancements are very expensive, mainly for regions outside US and EMEA where we have smaller budgets. Need to think on alternatives to support those growth countries. Also it is not user-friendly in most transactions and very complex use in terms of process monitoring.

Hard to imagine life without myMEDISET
Vorteile:
- Set handling is very easy and transparent - Automatic replenishment to ensure complete sets - Supports return inspection of Sets with features like BOM comparison and scanning functionalities - Fully integrated within SAP - Standard reports are included out-of-the-box
Nachteile:
To use the full potential of all given functionalities and reports users must be very well-trained and need to understand the logic the software is operating. Sometimes this can be time consuming but is worth it.

Kommentare: I worked in several stages since 2007 it is noticeable that it has improved a lot since then, I participated in several improvement projects, and it is much better today.
Vorteile:
Set management and control, real-time information, easy to use.
Nachteile:
I think the difficulty of achieving improvements, some cases due to the template that was developed others due to cost.
