Good deal for getting measurements
Kommentare: We just use it to get measurements on roofs. Offers a cheap, fast, and easy way to do that. Pretty mobile friendly in the browser.
Vorteile: Cheap and easy to get measurements on roofs. Support has been good.

Powerful tool with some serious weaknesses
Solargraf is an invaluable tool to present the value of solar to our customers on a daily basis. It houses our install contract language in the terms & conditions (this feature too, could use strengthening) so we have them sign electronically and we're off to the races.
I can recommend this tool wholeheartedly because of all the quality it does possess. However, we have started looking at alternatives because there are just too many issues with our contracting process for many lenders to overcome.
Easy to use design tool. Excellent sales proposal for presentation to customer. I like the electronic signature feature, the drop-down financing options, and the flow of information from loan options to project timeline. The expandable detail is great too. Customers feel like they can dive in but they have all the necessary information at their fingertips.
Panel rotations, and other design updates over last 12 months are terrific.
Designers feel like hidden features, buried features, or design quirks are acceptable - rather than deliberate UI systems. Example, we work with 9 lenders. We've entered all those details into Solargraf for the entire sales team to work with but it creates 36 financing options for the customer to choose from - WAY TOO MANY!
I asked for an easy way to switch those options on/off and was told that it exists. Yes. We click each option we don't want, click edit, scroll up to the "do not show customer" switch, then scroll down to save the change - 33 times!
Designers would not hear that an exposed checkbox to switch visible/invisible would make our lives SO much easier. Frustrating.
Pricing issues, specifically with the way the loan is being presented as plagued this software from the beginning. Obscure guessing about the new utility payment with that wild guess being added to the loan payment is frustrating. It's presented in big bold numbers whereas the ACTUAL loan payment we KNOW is less obvious.
Would love the ability to model shading from trees or chimneys. Simple negative design objects being placed on the roof or yard with shade being modeled would be a great add. Wish list item.
Current shading using Google data is wild and unpredictable.

Great program, fast and easy for our sales reps
Kommentare: I have been a happy user, just need the duplicate bid feature to be built into the software.
Vorteile: The software is the easiest that our team has ever used. The design tool is very easy to use and has proven to be accurate from the air many times.
Nachteile: The payments sometimes don't line up exactly. The worst part is that you NEED TO BE ABLE TO CREATE MULTIPLE QUOTES FOR THE SAME CUSTOMER. THERE SHOULD BE A "DUPLICATE THE BID" FEATURE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP ALL THE BASIC INFO THE SAME, BUT JSUT CHANGE THE PANELS AND THE PRICING. THIS IS THE WORST PART OF THE PROGRAM BY FAR!
