The most integrated, cross-platform Pomo-Timer available.
Kommentare: I use PomoDoneApp to both keep me on task using the Pomodoro Method, and to help me bookkeep how much time I'm spending on tasks throughout my various projects. Since I can tie it to my Github repositories through the integration, all I have to do is add a task to the repository, work on it, and close it out by commit... PomoDoneApp automatically marks it as a completed task. The weekly time reports help me see where I'm slacking and where I'm overworking, and do a lot to keep my PhD advisor content that I'm working hard and managing my time well.
Vorteile: I like how customizable the software is. A lot of pomo-timers lock you into a 25/5 minute cycle. This timer allows you to set multiple work/break intervals depending on your preferences. I also appreciate the large number of integrations that help me manage tasks, calendar items and issues. I use the Slack, Github and Google Tasks integrations all the time and I like that I don't have to duplicate information across multiple GTK sites... PomoDoneApp just integrates them into my tasks. Lastly, the cross-platform versions of this software can't be understated. This is the only one I've found that works (and works well) on all of Linux, MacOS and iOS.
Nachteile: There are in some cases too many options for customization, some of which don't necessarily do what you expect. In particular, I'm thinking of the actions when the timer starts and expires. I also find the "your timer isn't running" notifications to be very obnoxious, and the only way to "customize" it is to turn it off.

Great tool if you are freelancers or self-employed
Kommentare: I used the free account for a couple of years before going premium. Pomodone is now one of my main admin tools, therefore I have signed up for a premium account. The price is very reasonable and worth it in my case. I get a lot of value from it. It has helped me understand my productivity patterns and develop a better working routine.
I started using Pomodone years ago while doing a PhD. Some of the newest features I enjoy the most and that have been very helpful in my current position as a freelancer consultant is the integration with Google Calendar, where Pomodone adds to my calendar the tasks I've been working that day.
I have sent the pie charts showing how much time was spent overall on each task on any given project (during whatever period you wish) to my work colleagues and they really enjoyed that. Very helpful too indeed for project management and invoicing clients.
Nachteile: I find it great that there is a Pomodone integration with Chrome, allowing you to track how much time you spend on a particular website. However, I have found that this sometimes crashes with the desktop app if I have it open as well and the time spent on that task ends up not being registered. This feature needs improvement but in essence, I think it is a great idea.

Great for Productivity
Kommentare: I am keeping myself on task and maximizing my time. I got the recomemndation from the book Indistractable, which is based on time blocking schedules.
Vorteile: I like that I can use a Chrome Extension to start timers in Trello and Google Docs. I like that the free version is enough for me, and that it integrates with the project management platform I always use so that I can get an automatic task list.
Nachteile: It takes forever to sync with Trello, so even though I'm supposed to get the automatic task list, oftentimes I don't. That's why I end up using the timer in my browser instead of using the desktop app.

Pomodoro integrations for your task managers
Kommentare: Pomodoro is not for everyone but those of us who need a bit of encouragement with our tasks it is really useful. I plan my week on Microsoft To Do app and fire up PomoDone app when I start my computer so I get little nudges to pick my tasks and work on short healthy bits.
Integrates with many to do and task managers apps, even email (via Outlook)
Really helps keeping focus on work
Works as a task manager by itself
Cheap and plays well on team tasks (via integrations such as Basecamp or Jira)
UI could benefit from customization options
Syncing needs a little improvement

Don't use it alone, by itself.
Kommentare: Pomodone App was the best app I could find as a standalone app. But it became a blast when I linked it with Monday.com and Luxafor. Monday is a better app to manage task. The Luxafor light allow me to keep some annoying colleagues away while my timer is on by putting automaticaly my light red.
Vorteile: Pomodone App is design to help you use the Pomodoro Technique. It go integration with third party taskmanager. It got a log of your time and task. You can use it as a task manager. You have many option for work and pause lenght and order. I can switch between task without stoping the timer.
Nachteile: I can't add a task while the timer is running. The task manager GUI is not appealing. Editing a task is not as easy as creating one. The log is only available through the website and not the app.
