Finally a solid alternative for Telcos, Distributors and CSPs in the OSS/BSS/Cloud-Brokerage space
Kommentare: As service integrator, in the past decade we have worked with all major cloud brokerage platforms on the market and are familiar with their pros and cons. Once we were introduced to ActivePlatform and started the assessment, one of the first impressions was their awareness of the issues a typical CSP is facing and their ability to address them. We believe ActivePlatform is a great solution to a significant market share of CSPs, Telcos and Distributors, that are looking for a functional and a cost-effective solution with fast on-boarding.
The functionality and the integration available out of box, builds the ActivePlatform competence of a platform of choice for any CSP, Telco, VAR or IT Distributor. From our experience in the service provider space, we see increased dissatisfaction with major existing platforms. Dissatisfaction about pricing, duration of platform on-boarding, cost of support, ISV integration development cost and platform vendor induced costs due to changes on the existing platform, is higher than ever.
With this, ActivePlatform is more than viable alternative with minimal TCO, faster on-boarding for the service providers and simplified ISV integration.
Nachteile: During the initial testing of ActivePlatform, documentation did not cover all the details we need, so we relied on their support team. But with latest platform release, we see that the documentation improved a lot and covered the details we need.

Great solution for multi-tier resellers
Vorteile: ActivePlatform provides unique features for multi-tier distributors and resellers: working with margins and markups, multi-tier prices and so on.
Nachteile: There are no out-of-the-box connectors for small saas solutions

Key Player in the Cloud Commerce and Marketplace Arena
Kommentare: The solution allows for the end-to-end automation of cloud service delivery and a commerce engine for billing. It easily integrates into current CRM, provisioning and billing systems.
Vorteile: ActivePlatform delivers the most configurable solution I have seen in the market. Their focus on ease of integration with existing systems and custom workflow creation mean much less effort for customers to get up and running.
Nachteile: This platform is still early in its lifecycle, so there are areas that need to mature.
