Better control and markup of PDFs
Kommentare: I like this product a lot, I switched from Adobe, it seems to be a better value.
Vorteile:
I like how it works seamlessly across many devices, including my phone, tablet, and desktop. All changes are reflected across all devices. Works great with a pen!
Nachteile:
Sometimes hard to navigate files, finding files can be a bit difficult. The UX for file browsing is not super intuitive.

Great and promising start then stagnation
Kommentare: I am using it for my research and it is a very good piece of software, definitely worth of money. I just have to switch to other software if I want to do OCR (or work in Windows, ehm), which is a little bit annoying.
Vorteile:
Since I have to read many articles for my research, I really, really like many features in PDF Expert, especially: - It is easy to use, quick, nice design - Intelligent typewriter! I am writing usually my notes on the margins of pages. I really love that PDF Expert intelligently formats and breaks the the typewritten note so it does not overlap the text of the article. I have never seen this feature anywhere else and I wish it would be more common. Great idea! - Overview of all pages and easy and quick way of manipulating with pages - The price was fair!
Nachteile:
When I was buying PDF Expert a couple of years ago, I asked the customer support whether OCR support was coming. I was told that yes and that it would come soon. Last time I checked, it was still not there. This is definitely the most important feature I miss in PDF Expert. - I used to have occasional issues with rendering of some scanned books and even crashes, however, this seems to be quite okay now. - There was really not much development since I bought it which was a little bit disappointing. Recently, I started to use more frequently Windows, so I bought PDF-Xchange editor. And yes - it does not have the intelligent typewriter - but it has so many features that I was missing in PDF Expert. I think you could get some inspiration from there, like manipulation with bookmarks, OCR (PDF-Xchange has even two different OCR engines), more advanced work with styles (a great thing!). You don't have to add everything - I understand that PDF Expert should be much lighter and easier to use - but maybe something. :)

Almost Perfect
Kommentare: Overall my experience has been good. I used PDF Expert for years on my iPad and in the past year purchased the Mac version since my version of Adobe Acrobat was no longer supported.
Vorteile:
PDF Expert covers most of the bases. It allows you to easily edit and create pdf files. You can also create a signature for signing documents digitally.
Nachteile:
The only feature I miss from Adobe Acrobat is the ability to create forms. If PDF Expert had that function it would have everything I need.

Perfect Solution for Us
Kommentare: Cost aside - this is a great tool for us. Our entire sales team uses this on a daily basis.

This is a great tool for filling out and sending proposals / agreements to our customers.
Nachteile:
We just had to upgrade to the 'pro' version for an annual subscription to keep the tools we used to get for free.

Fantastic Mac-only alternative to Adobe Acrobat Pro
Kommentare: I have been using Readdle PDF Expert for many years now to make light changes to PDFs (changing some text, deleting certain elements) as well as adding annotations to PDFs. It is extremely easy to use at a great price. I highly, highly recommend it for the vast majority of PDF editing needs.
Vorteile:
Readdle PDF Expert is a fairly powerful PDF editor and creator. It has most of the features you'll need from a PDF editor, such as merging PDF documents, deleting pages from a PDF, annotations, signature support, the ability to delete certain PDF elements, and even the ability to edit existing PDF text. In addition, it has a very clean and straight forward interface that is very easy to learn and understand. It offers both subscription pricing (at $12.49/month or $50/year) as well as a fantastic perpetual standalone license option at $99 (that price does not include major program updates though).
Nachteile:
PDF Expert isn't quite as powerful as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and perhaps more importantly (for some) it is a Mac-only app.
