Kommentare: Overall, it has been as projected with exception of use on personal phones of employees / fleet operators.

Vorteile:

Ease of installing hardware into fleet.

Nachteile:

Software upload onto company owned and personal phones was difficult and had many start up issues.

Distracted driving initiative

Kommentare: As company that strives to eliminated distracted driving, this product takes the guess work out of who may or may not be driving distracted. It has driven our numbers down over 90%. Great product.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use, almost completely automatic which makes it easy for anyone.

Nachteile:

Takes a little to long for it to turn off after the vehicle is stopped/turned off.

Company screwed us!

Kommentare: This company that took over Cell Control completely screwed regular families that use the cell control device for teens cars. We bought the device in 2017 with a lifetime membership. We used it in our sons car for 2 years and then went to install in our daughters car and put the app on her phone. Well there is no app anymore because this company decided to just screw all families and only focus on businesses. So forget all those people that bought lifetime memberships in the years past. Businesses watch out, they may do the same to you in the future!

Vorteile:

It did it's job the years we were able to use it. Now we are not allowed that opportunity!

Nachteile:

Awkward software and not user friendly. Could use improvements.

The Best

Kommentare: We have solved the problem of people talking on their phones without hands free headsets. We don't have to worry about text messages coming through to our drivers and causing them to be distracted.

Vorteile:

It is easy to set up and install. Customer service was great. Website and daily emails show me all the information I need.

Nachteile:

I have not had any problems or dislikes so far.

Works great and costs little!

Vorteile:

This software blocks our phone use in our vehicles wonderfully.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the reporting can be tricky to figure out. It'd be nice if we could dial into some reports a little better.

Pros and Cons

Kommentare: We are accomplishing being able to track the location of our drivers as well as their driving habits. We are also ensuring ourselves that they are unable to use the phone while driving except for what is allowed.

Vorteile:

Ability to track driving history,ensures drivers are not using phone while driving,ability to see how well or bad you are driving

Nachteile:

software on phone has issues while using navigation, does not always record trips, updates do not always go through using IPones, having to make sure that users keep certain services on for reporting to work correctly

Robust solution to controlling distracted driving

Kommentare: Cellcontrol has been great to work with on our two site deployments. I would reccomend this solution to companies looking to reduce distracted driving.

Vorteile:

The solution allows us to control how the drivers can or cannot interact with devices when in motion.

Nachteile:

There really are not any major concerns with the solution

Like what it does but

Kommentare: I works and keeps my people safe that’s the bottom line.

Vorteile:

I love that this keeps me from looking at my phone every two minutes. I really like that it makes me call people which is a more personal way of communicating.

Nachteile:

I get messages that I am in violation when I am two miles from my car and it’s off. Also the phone screen flashes who your getting a text from so it still distracts you.

Fleet Manager

Kommentare: Overall I would say its good. We are 6 months into the rollout so we will see.

Vorteile:

Easy to use, came loaded in the portal prior to receiving. Easy instructions on how to install. Good reporting and Easy to use poretal as well.

Nachteile:

Batteries can melt under high temperatures in the truck or car.

CellControl Experience

Kommentare: Cellcontrol is a good product. It is cumbersome to configure and ideally it would be nice to have an all-in-one GPS, CellControl solution.

Vorteile:

It does block use of the phone when all installation procedures and configurations are followed.

Nachteile:

There are issues with the software when vendors update their OS. I thought developers got advanced copies of iOS and Android to test their software against.

Cell Control Review

Kommentare: Overall our experience has been very beneficial. Our preventive accidents have decreased.

Vorteile:

I love that it blocks any access to email, texts, and the internet.

Nachteile:

As with any technology, there are some issues with team members having units that need to have the batteries replaced, and will need to plug in their unit.

Great product on Android devices. Apple devices do not play well with Cell Control.

Kommentare: Significant reduction in at fault accidents. Android devices work flawlessly with Cell Control. Apple needs to allow 3rd party vendors to work with their devices more easily.

Very easy to use from an admin perspective.

Cellcontrol

Kommentare: There are many issues that can cause the device to stop functioning and you will not know that your having trouble. I do not feel like it is reliable. It is not set it and forget it. Although we currently still use the product, we

Vorteile:

On the surface the idea is excellent but I do not think it is full proof for sure.

Nachteile:

Not dependable enough for the needs of our fleet.

Quentin Johnson review of Cellcontrol

Kommentare: Best tech out there and there CSR is very helpful.

Vorteile:

It works. It doesn't allow my drivers to do anything they shouldn't. Very effective.

Nachteile:

Set up can be difficult and have found bugs for certain users. The issues have been quickly resolved by support.

Safe is best

there is no getting around system, it blocks 100% all the time.

Nachteile:

not sure why some trips are cut short or start in middle. I think my men turn on and off there phones

Mixed bag

Vorteile:

The software definitely works to keep drivers off phones.

Nachteile:

It is rarely received well by users. Possibly a configuration issue but the experience seems to change frequently based on different, minor releases.

Driver Performance Monitoring

Kommentare: Its been a useful tool in keeping our drivers in check. Warnings have been given to drivers with consistent low scores.

Vorteile:

Notifications - timely and informative. Easy to deploy.

Nachteile:

Easy to disable. Maps do not indicate posted speeds.

Working with cell control

Kommentare: Positive.

Vorteile:

The app works great for what it is designed for . It operates correctly and does as promised.

Nachteile:

It some times takes too long to unlock once I am stopped. While using the GPS apps in my phone (more so when in landscape mode) the cell control will block the gps because it keeps refreshing the screen in landscape mode and prevents me from seeing my directions. Could cause an accident.

CellControl Review

Kommentare: Disappointed tech support was not supportive.

Vorteile:

I like idea of CellControl's system. The concept of CellControl is a great plan. But...

Nachteile:

The execution is the problem. The system interfered with CellPhone use even when the vehicle wasn't running. Not all the time but some times.

Convenient And simple to use

Kommentare: We have been taken care of from the day we first spoke with support staff and have been very satisfied with all our results with the software and user interface

Vorteile:

Gps updates and cell phone reports every morning have been a life saver
