Gutes System mit sehr guter Software. Leichte Bedienung und Einrichtung.

Nachteile:

Die kostenlose Abo-Option der Software wurde abgeschafft. Jetzt kauft man den Cube und muss auch noch für damit verbunden Software im Abo zahlen. Selbst für die simple Zeiterfassung sind es doppelte Kosten. Bestandskunden werden damit einfach nur im Stich gelassen. Hände weg und anderes Produkt wählen.

Flexible Zeiterfassung leicht gemacht

Kommentare: Für mich ist Timeular die perfekte Lösung zur Zeiterfassung, die meinen Bedarfen komplett entspricht und sich nahtlos in meinen Arbeitsalltag integriert. Besser lässt sich eine Zeiterfassung für mich nicht gestalten.

Vorteile:

Ich nutze Timeular seit mehreren Jahren und bin jeden Tag begeistert, wie leicht die Zeiterfassung in meinen Workflow passt. Da ich für unterschiedliche Auftraggeber tätig bin, kann ich die einzelnen Projekte unkompliziert erfassen, monatlich auswerten und Ziele festlegen, um Projektzeiten nicht zu überschreiten.Die Auswertungen eignen sich auch gut als Zeitnachweis als Anlage zu meinen Rechnungen.

Nachteile:

Ab und zu springen die Projekte bei manueller Zeiterfassung auf einer vorher gewähltes Projekt um. Das muss man ein bisschen im Blick behalten.

Der 8seitige Tracker reicht bei meiner Tätigkeit nicht. Im Rechner ok, Wechsel wird aber schneller vergessen.

Tolles Tool mit unseriöser Preisadministration

Vorteile:

Super tolles und einfaches Tool für die Zeiterfassung.

Nachteile:

Es gab kürzlich eine Änderung in der Preispolitik, kurz nachdem ich das Produkt gekauft habe. Eine kostenlose Basisversion gibt es keine mehr, das finde ich persönlich sehr gut. Es soll ja Geld fliessen, das ist völlig in Ordnung. Nach dem Kauf erhielt ich ein eMail, dass der Basis-Dienst immer noch kostenlos ist für die Käufer, die VOR der Änderung des Preismodells das Produkt kauften. In meinem Account steht jedoch, dass der Dienst CHF 5/Monat kostet. Der Support konnte bisher nicht weiter helfen. Bin mal gespannt, ob ich eine Rechnung bekomme.

Timeular- a hidden gem

Recent price increases and the need to register multiple users from one org as a team.

A gamechanger for anyone who works on billable hours!

Kommentare: Timeular does what it promises, and it does it so extremely well: Save your time! I used it daily, and it has taken away worries about tracking my billable hours as well as non-billables for efficiency control. Here, the word "mighty tool" is really the best way to describe the software. And the speed of Timeular when it comes to implementing innovations and customer suggestions is amazing!

Vorteile:

Once you set up your tracker's sides, just flip it, fill in a tag or two, and at the end of the day your timesheet is ready! So much better than compiling Excel sheets or even writing down hours with a pen. In addition, the exact timing in addition with the rounding feature saves so much time when preparing the invoices for your clients - I can no longer imagine a professional life without Timeular!

Nachteile:

When you have a slow internet connection, the user may be quicker than Timeular when it comes to opening entires for editing purposes, and the user may end up creating new entries on other days. This can be easily corrected, so this is a mere nuisance. In addition, I would love to be able to combine tags with hourly rates to include these in the time sheets for each client.

Very expensive

Easy to use and very useful when exporting data for customers

Nachteile:

The new prices are really high, I think I will switch to another application.

Convinient time tracking for entrepreneurs

Kommentare: Can see what I really use my time for, can set work time goals and can get useful data easily. Easy to use and fun to personalize and customize my tracker. Tracker battery lasts very long! Only need to charge a couple times every year even though I use it pretty much every day. The only negative I have so far is sometimes the tracker will stop tracking while a task is still in progress (my guess it's a bluetooth connection problem?)

Vorteile:

Easy to use, provides useful information and overall useful software. Customization of the tracker is a nice bonus!

Nachteile:

Wish it had more features such as setting different types of goals for different time periods (per week, per month, per year etc). Could have an integrated to-do-list type of feature, as well as a useful widget for the mobile app version.

See where your valuable time is being spent

Kommentare: I use Timeular personally, not through work. I started using it over 2 years ago when it first came out. I've always wanted to make sure I was making good use of my time, not spending time on projects that weren't important or in too many meetings. Over the years, the Timeular team has made some great improvements to the product, the reporting, and ease of use. I choose to pay for Timeular out of my own pocket because I think it provides me personally with insights I couldn't get elsewhere, and it is just so simple to set up and use.

Vorteile:

The Timeular device that sits on your desk is by far the easiest way I have found to track my time. I'm terrible at remembering to go into an app and log information, so having this device right next to my mouse makes it easy and quick to change projects. I also love the reporting functionality in Timeular. You can very easily compare various periods or various tasks to see what is changing. You can also set goals, such as the one I have to not spend too much time on email each day.

Nachteile:

I don't use the mobile version as often as I should. If the mobile app would remind me to use it when I havent turned on my tracker that would help. Perhaps if there was a button I could add right to my home screen of my phone that allowed me to change tasks in a flash that would be great.

Desktop friendly, but iOS version needs work

Wonderfully low friction for consulting

Kommentare: Timeular has been a wonderful tool throughout my switch from a traditional 8-5 where we used Kronos timekeeping software, to a flexible consulting gig. It has worked excellently whether I'm at my desk, addressing a call while out and about, or visiting clients. Most of all, I stuck with it because it is very low friction.

Vorteile:

Plain and simple, I first bought it because of the tracker. I have continued to use it because of the very low friction interfaces. It takes me no more than a few seconds to start or stop a time entry, or even add a missed entry. And I can do any of those from my desk, main computer, laptop, or phone.

Nachteile:

I'm never a fan of subscription services when a one-time purchase could suffice. I do however appreciate that the software team does make monthly, and many times weekly updates to the software. Most of the time these updates tune the interface to be a little bit sleeker, or add a new feature. There is a slight annoyance to constantly see a new update is available

Easiest to use for minimum effort, good UX

Kommentare: I think this app is fantastic. I think it is now a bit overpriced but to an extent you get what you pay for. I haven’t found anything else nearly as easy to use.

Vorteile:

I like the physical Bluetooth tracker, and the tracking state syncs almost instantly between devices

Nachteile:

The Bluetooth tracker connection is flaky. Also, increased subscription cost recently with no extra features that I use.

Unveils time

Kommentare: Timeular is a great help to log time and boost productivity.

Vorteile:

I like to know where and how I spent my time, also when I want to look back at an earlier time range.

Nachteile:

Im just missing the possibility to tag a task itself instead of just the activity for being able to group tasks more flexible in reports.

Easy to setup and use

Vorteile:

Timeular was super easy to get setup and start using. I've setup different workspaces for the different clients I've billed and it allows me to indicate whether time is billable or not. Export functions allow me to attach a PDF of all my time to send to my clients so I reduce the amount of times that they need to ask me where their time is being spent.

Nachteile:

I wish there was some way to set alerts as I'm nearing my maximum time I've been permitted by a client in a fixed interval.

Easiest, Most Versatile Tracking That I Didn't Know I Needed

Kommentare: I love it. I've recommended it to a number of people, who likely never used my affiliate link, but I know several who got one after I bragged about it. And, at least one person got some for her team.

Vorteile:

For anyone with "walking through a doorway" syndrome or who's just starting out with time tracking, this is where to start (and stop). I wouldn't waste time and money on another one. Try this first. I love that the die sites right in front of me. Unlike apps that I can forgot to open, that they're already open, or to click start/stop, the die sitting in front of my is easy to spot and easier to spot when it's turned to a task and not in its dock.

Nachteile:

I wish I could integrate my work calendar (Proton Calendar) for meetings and events into it so I can see those next to my tracked/to-be tracked hours. 'Was I at that meeting longer than scheduled?' Or, 'I see my meeting for project X in on Friday, so I need to make sure I track my hours for that this week.' For all I know, it already does this. I need to play with it more.

Was I really undercharging that much

Kommentare: Eye opener, I use to just have little meeting and do quick tasks and not bother charging, it was an eyeopener to actually see how much these hours of 'its only a quick job' added up

Vorteile:

I love that I have a drop down to quickly put items in a different section

Nachteile:

I find all the updates frustrating, but on a positive you can't have progress without updates and it shows the team are always working on improvements

Easiest way to track your time

Kommentare: Using it since summer 2021 when I started a new job which is 100% home office. Timeular helps me to track the time I spend for work, even if at home you constantly also switch to other things. The Goal setting feature is very helpful for this, have set a goal of 40 hours tagged "#Work" per week, can easily check if I'm on track or not.

Vorteile:

Time tracking by using a physical device (the octaeder) is the best feature. No more need to pull out your phone open an app and so on. Task switches are easily documented by just a turn of the device. This means that tracking your time does not mean extra big effort or constant interruptions to fill out time sheets.

Nachteile:

Would love to have customizable color schemes on the desktop app, the new colours for the dark theme are too bright for my taste.

Physical Device key in changing habits

Vorteile:

The fact it is linked to a physical Bluetooth device has made the change from sporadic time tracking to making it a daily ritual.

Nachteile:

Only thing I can think is if you leave the tracker on and in your bag on the commute you can end up with some strange times tracked!

All in one solution

Vorteile:

I was looking for a solution like Timeular for a while. The online and mobile tracking is quite crucial for my work and day to day planning. I like the small cube and ease of use particularly. With the statistics I have all tasks and working hours for projects and tasks alike always available.

Nachteile:

If I need to say something that I like least it might be the fact that I have to remember to charge the small cube. However it is necessary obviously.

Great tool for project management

Vorteile:

The product is easy to use as you can set it up exactly to your liking. The Timeular team is very responsive and open to adding new features.

Nachteile:

It would be great if you can add certain tags to people within your company. For example which team they belong to, or other such tags, that make it easier to filter. (I am aware that I can create filters manually, but I would prefer an automatic system).

Kommentare: It is essential in our work to allocate work hours, we continually change projects and the Tracker gives us spectacular agility.

Vorteile:

It is very intuitive and easy to use.It works fine with Linux!The API syncs well to integrate with external ERPs.

Nachteile:

The tracker synchronization sometimes fails when turning on the computer, and then it is difficult to synchronize. It does not notify when the battery runs out. (Linux version)

Makes time recording fun - as much as it can be fun, that is

It easily captures the important information about how I am spending my working time. Using hashtags and labels is particularly helpful.

Nachteile:

No compleaints, it does just what it needs to do.

I can easily track all my tasks with appropriate tags. I could use the dice or I can use the key commands on my keyboard

I have a lot of things set up from before all the updates. The new updates would be really great to use, but it's not easy to slip right into that groove.
