Kommentare: Insgesamt eine solide Video-Conferencing-Lösung, die leider immer noch deutlich weniger Funktionen hat, als andere Anbieter. Allerdings ist Google dran und es kommen neue Features dazu.

Vorteile:

Die sehr einfache Benutzung, die Einwahlmöglichkeit via Browser, App oder Telefon und der Chat sowie Module zum Abstimmen machen Google Meet zu einer soliden Software für Videokonferenzen.

Nachteile:

Leider fehlen einige Funktionen, wie etwa Breakout-Rooms, die, je nach Anwendungsfall, wichtig sein können. Auch bei sehr vielen Teilnehmern/ Zuschauern würde ich eine andere Software empfehlen.

good app for meeting

Kommentare: it is reliable plartfrom for conducting virtual meeting allow student to connect the class form anywhere, it offers various security features to ensure the privacy and safety of meetings.

Vorteile:

its works very smooth and the audio quality is very good it didn't glitch at any moment and its very helpful for scheduling college as well as formal office meet virtually.

Nachteile:

There are some glitches in screen sharing as when we share screen the screen tend to blurry for some moment.

Easy and complete tool

Kommentare: Google Meet is the communication tool included in the Google framework. It is included both in free Google accounts (with some limitations) and in all Google Workspace levels. We use the first, basic workspace level and are quite happy with it.
You can:
- set a meeting
- schedule a meeting, even directly from Google Calendar
- add people to the meeting and automatically send invitations by mail
You can use Meet in a browser, but there are also apps for mobile devices.
The only limitation I am aware of is the one hour duration of sessions set with a free account.
In a way: with Meet you can do anything you think you could do with a communication tool, but you can do it in an easy but complete way.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use Integrated in the Google framework Neat and essential Useable on all devices and on browsers

Nachteile:

Some limitations in the free version (sessions cannot lasta more than one hour)

Google Duo/ Google Meets

Kommentare: It works great just has a few bugs and glitches that google refuses to fix.

Vorteile:

Free video Calling App that works with email or phone numbers instead of names. Keeps track of calls video or phone calls to repeat numbers.

Nachteile:

The phone call logs and video calling logs for Google Duo messed up and disappeared when they took over and they (Google) Did nothing about that issue and numerous reports and customer complaints were made about it.

Great, easy to use product

Kommentare: It has been a great experience overall is our company's main scheduling tool.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and is a native integration with the entire Google Suite. I like how a meeting link is automatically generated within Google Calendar when sending out meeting invites.

Nachteile:

I do not like how accessing a meeting can become limiting for users who do not have an email address associated with Google.

Experience using meet as software engineer

Meetings we arrange in google meet provides noice cancellation with it and we can easily record our meetings in it and even in my some cases we have used it as attendance tracking too

Nachteile:

We have faced screen sharing restriction issues and sometimes on low specs devices we may face browser crash or freeze issues

Simple and Effective

Vorteile:

Ease of scheduling calls and inviting guests, setting reoccuring calls. Does not require extra software, runs right within your browser, unlike Zoom and Teams.

Nachteile:

Filters, such as blur background effect, can cause lots of lagging during calls.

I love google meet. It is very clear and user friendly, even to those first timers.

Nachteile:

I wish its overall look is more cheerful and motivational. Also, wish they offer longer sessions for free.

Video calling with ease!

Kommentare: Google Meet is the main way my family does face to face phone conversations. It is easy to access and already comes on many Android devices. My 90 year old grandmother can access it with ease and I think that's one of the things that makes Google Meet so great, it's easy to manage!

Vorteile:

What I like most about Google Meet is the fact that it's already connected to my Google account. It's easy to find family and friends because they are already listed as contacts.

Nachteile:

I do not have any negative comments about Google Meet.

Vorteile:

I had a fantastic experience with Google Meet because of it's audio and video quality. We can do meetings with hundreds of participants, and easily present slides and other information during the meeting by selecting the “share screen” button.

Nachteile:

It can't record meetings in the cloud, which is an extremely useful feature to have. It doesn't have host rights to change the settings of the meetings. White board problem:: we have to use jam board

Kommentare: When creating quick meeting or sharing presentation I choose google meet and its feature like audio visualizer on mic icon, when some is speaking so it visualizer help me to know who is speaking

Enter a code or link this two features are most Remarkable in terms of UI Together with the click pop up which has options of 1. Create a meeting for later, 2. Start an instant meeting, and 3. Schedule in google calendar it Sets apart from others google meet on top of others also One more thing, when the meeting starts, a popup will appear on the left hand bottom side where there is an option to share the link of the meeting. This function makes it easy to share the links And changing layouts can be considered good feature when the number of people sharing idea is high

Nachteile:

The least about google meet is there UI When screen shared and view from others people side the corner of the screen make the screen appear smaller, whereas in other meeting platforms the screen ratio is complete. In google meet the screen size appears smaller due to rounded corners

My experience with Google meet

Kommentare: Google meet allowed me to understand that we can do things like this, follow courses remotely, organize live meetings, communicate and interact with other people in other countries and continents in a visual way.
