This app has been game changing for how we communicate with staff.
Vorteile:
I like the ease of use as a Coordinator. My time spent scheduling has shrunk majorly, leaving me more time to focus on recruiting, on-boarding and training. The calendar makes it really easy for me to see what my week looks like. The sorting function help me isolate events to more easily see events. Even the color and font choices used in the apps is pleasing to the eye! The support from the Nowsta team has been amazing. They always respond within minutes through their direct messaging function and not only resolve the issue, but are a blast to work with. It's been a year that we have used the software and there have been endless improvements to functionality. They have expanded the system in many ways, allowing us to change our payroll functions and save money. Many times, we have seen areas for improvement, have sent the Nowsta team suggestions and then seen the tweaks in the app a few weeks later. The team at Nowsta is the ultimate example of continuous improvement. My staff really enjoys using the app and it has actually been a help in hiring as well. I mention it during the interview and I have seen candidates' faces light up with excitement that we schedule with such a convenient form of communication.
Nachteile:
The timeclock function on the app can be buggy and not record proper times, but I let the Nowsta team know and it's usually fixed right away. It's also an easy fix as a Coordinator, to adjust the times on the desktop.

Vorteile:
I like the ability to schedule multiple events and include a multitude of details that are important to convey to our teams. Also, the ability to engage temp staff through the same system is a game changer.

I would like to be able to receive employee responses through the system making it a one stop shop.

Kommentare: Terrible. completely terrible. They were never available to help me with a problem or take accountability for their software's mistakes

I don't, the whole point of the company is to track employees and they can't even do that correctly.
Nachteile:
Customer service. They refuse to help me when I shared with them that their platform is misreporting all of the calculations from overtime worked, total pay, and total hours worked. Very basic math required to figure this out and they can't even do that correctly

Kommentare: I enjoy using Nowsta and think it would be a great resource for other companies needing this type of program.
Vorteile:
I like that it is easy to use and it is easy to inform employees about anything you can think of, special instructions, directions, announcements, etc.
Nachteile:
In the admin side the pages don't refresh even going back and forth between pages, I have to manually hit refresh to get things to update.

Kommentare: Compared to the competition, Nowsta comes out way ahead in ease of use, ability to deliver results, drive efficiency, and track accountability.
Vorteile:
Ease of use and interface make using Nowsta & training easy. Ease of integrations makes implementation and ROI high. Many workers in our market are familiar with Nowsta. Data and reporting allow deep analytics for management, business strategy, and budgets.
Nachteile:
Not allowing workers to Opt to share their calendars across multiple employers means that employee calendars are not always up to date. Not being able to see available workers without creating a placeholder shift.

Kommentare: Overall Nowsta is a great tool for admin and external users alike. Other than the missing chat feature and the inability to easily change/sort an event's staff assignments/roles on the event page, I have no complaints.
Vorteile:
I like the ability to visually see which events are fully staffed, which need staffing, and the easy publishing of open shifts to our staffing roster.
Nachteile:
I don't like that there is no way to chat/text staff within the app. It would be nice if there was a SLACK like chat area/channels area for staff to reach out rather than given them our personal numbers.

Kommentare: Investing in Nowsta is definitely one of the best decisions I have made. It is so easy to use, transfer events from my event platform and see my staff availability as well as tracking their time and attendance.

How easy it is for us to schedule and message staff, as well as how easy it is for staff to clock in and clock out and put their availability all from their mobile devices.
Nachteile:
I have not encountered anything that I don't like.

It's easy to learn and use the system. If you have a questions they are quick to respond with the proper answer and resolve any problem you may have.
Nachteile:
I wish you could move staff within the event page to other positions, if needed. Rather than go to another page to have to complete that task.

Kommentare: I am happy with the product and it has streamlined our scheduling and payroll and has eliminated many paycheck errors.
Vorteile:
It is extremely user-friendly and takes very little training.
Nachteile:
The Customized csv for import is still not 100% correct and manual changes have to be made before importing.

It's user friendly - attractive, easy to navigate and make updates. Humorous little phrases pop up while refershing while working. Nowsta makes staffing and events logistics and organization, which can be difficult to organize a breeze!

nothing reaally - i'd be stretching to think of something that stands out.

Vorteile:
We love the accessibility and ease of use for each of our team members. Our staff consists of young and old, and everyone seems to understand how to use the app. Getting updated that everyone has clocked in is a great feature, especially when you're running a lot of events daily. The reminders that you have a shift coming up when you're 3 days out, and then again 3 hours out are great too! Lastly, we love being able to see the last time a staff member logged into the app, this helps us manage the teams more accurately.
Nachteile:
We struggle most with the clock in/out feature. It's likely a user error, but we get the most complaints about this feature. When it does work, it's great!

Kommentare: I love this product, it helps me catch my overstaffing and staff I may have forgotten to schedule.
Vorteile:
Actual staffing numbers in real-time. List of current and past staff. We use the notes section a lot to track callouts and raises. It is great to have everything in one place.
Nachteile:
Templates do not work correctly, always duplicating or adding some that are not relevant to certain staff

Nowsta is user friendly. I love that I can use it on my phone or on my desktop. Most of my event staff find it easy to clock in and out and set up their availability calendar.

I like the Nowsta has the capacity to connect to the other programs and software I use such as TPP and Quick Books.

I don't like that they don't have a coordinator app or the functionality to schedule staff on the go.
Excellent tool
Kommentare: Nowsta improved a lot our booking/scheduling system, specially after we hired more people, expanding our team. It helped us saving time with timesheets and also is helpful when we do sign ins. The staff really liked to have an app to accept the jobs and check their roster. This was a constant request from them and Nowsta came to fill this need and was well accepted between our team.
Vorteile:
On a daily basis, the staff scheduling and the timesheets feature made our life a lot easier and helped to share on a simple way the information between our management team. Nowsta made the communication with our team easier and straightforward. We used to send the jobs via text message/Whatsapp - we still keep doing that, but not with the same frequency. With Nowsta we get faster responses about the jobs and works really well with the majority of our staff. Another benefit of Nowsta is that we can book the staff in advance with much more efficiency and give an estimate idea to our clients about the bookings, something that we had the necessity to do and was more complicated and time consuming before we started to use Nowsta.
Nachteile:
We miss some features/tools that would be useful considering our business. One thing is to know who is booked without clicking on a job. We would like to have the possibility to move the mouse and see the names of the staff booked for a job. Also would be good to have a tool to check the list of all the staff booked to work on a day, if possible, with the categories. Some days we are very busy and this is critical so we can check who is not working yet. What we usually do is to check staff by staff to see who is booked or not. We also noticed sometimes that Nowsta have some mistakes related to conflicts about a job. We noticed that sometimes Nowsta informs that the person is booked and she/he is not booked on that day. Apparently there is a glitch, because sometimes we noticed that the person was booked and removed for example, but Nowsta still shows a conflict about the schedule.

I love both the desktop in the mobile app. Thanks to Nowsta we have a very easy time communicating with our staff in real time.

Just like any other sort of technology today it takes a little getting used to. We were coming from an antiquated system to something fresh and new, but the team walked us through everything step-by-step, and make sure that we understand every aspect of the app..

Nowsta allows our department to visualize what workers fit best where. As staffers for a catering company, we often have several events each day, and Nowsta makes it easy to move staff to best suit our needs for last-minute callouts.
Nachteile:
I wish that Nowsta supplied timestamps for shift removals and declinations. It would be helpful for us in staffing to keep track of employee patterns and administrative duties.

extremely easy to offer our temp employees shifts within Nowsta, either thru the app or email, also nice to have the "spot location" loaded so they know what part of town the shift is in

Custom reports and scheduled reports would help automate processes and keep groups in the know. And reporting for published shifts replies (nowsta tells me that someone declined direct requests, would be nice to know about published ones too when Staffing various shifts and events in a day)

The thing that I like most about Nowsta is how easy it is to use. Our employees love using the app to track their hours & earnings. It is also easy for us to keep track of them as well! The mobile app is a life saver for catering! The employees can easily clock in and out of their shifts by phone!
Nachteile:
I do not really have any cons for Nowsta! I have always had a great experience with it.
