Kommentare: Please listen to technicians in the process industry how to automate the calibration of pressure and temperature devices, especially switches and devices with square root function, also differential pressure transmitters, etc. By connecting a DPI 620 Genii calibrator to a Hart transmitter you can completely service the transmitter. When it then would be possible to add it automatically to the database with the push of a button, could be a time saving feature.
Vorteile:
I like a software that is compatible with the latest generation of GE Druck calibrators. The first edition of 4Sight2 works with the portable calibrators only, but will be made suitable to be used with pressure controllers as well. I like the possibility to set up a database and create different locations, build up calibration history and produce calibration certificates. The software already looks promising. For the future I hope the software engineers of 4Sight2 will add more functionality, required by customers. Very important is that the software will be maintained properly and fully supported so that at least a 4 star ranking will be achieved.
Nachteile:
Installation of the software should be improved so that no help is needed from software specialists.
Poor sales service
Vorteile:
Great software with critical time savings and efficiencies needed for the industry. Once fully implemented in our north west district will role out to other districts.
Nachteile:
Ease of use. Rather cumbersome. The customer support has been very instrumental in the setup of some devices.
As a Channel Partner I'm still waiting for the green light to use it on a non-UK system.

I'm not convinced yet because I don't have a working version, but the demo's show that it should be an easy to use, low entry level tool that has everything needed to do make the calibration job easier.
Nachteile:
It is not yet operational on non-UK systems.
