Fantastic all rounder solution

Kommentare: Matrix LMS has replaced multiple prior sites & solutions with a single main site for all of our community digital learning, social & ecommerce needs - it has saved us significant person time in the extensive level of automation possible while also boosting new business models and product offers with its varied ecommerce and digital product features.

Vorteile:

We have transitioned from another solution to Matrix LMS about 18 months ago as we wanted a feature rich and easy to use solution for our digital community - Matrix has exceeded all expectations from ease of installation, huge range of features, automation capability and exception customer support.

Nachteile:

For those seeking high levels of accessibility functionality, Matrix LMS is a good solution with need to be careful as with any tech as to what content is loaded / designed to support accessibility.

Great For Older Students & Adults

Vorteile:

I love the clean aesthetic of Cypher Learning and the customization. We use the software as an LMS for our online school and our students love being able to see their progress and grades as they progress through our courses.

Nachteile:

We teach students as young as four, all the way up to adults, so the look of the LMS isn’t as vibrant as our younger students are accustomed to seeing. It’s geared more toward the older student (middle and high), collegiate level learning, and continued development for adults.

Good for starters, but has a long way to go...

Kommentare: Lots of storage space and content library for adding the same resources to multiple courses. Learner access constraints.

Vorteile:

It's great for school use as long as instructors know how to use it. It's got all of the basic functions and great dynamic user access capabilities.

Nachteile:

Configuration items are very non intuitive - it takes so long to figure out at what level do I need to visit the configurations to make changes to a course. The text editor is also limited, as are the media types available.

Teacher's partner amidst Pandemic

Kommentare: Overall the partnership between LMS and Teachers or Berkeley, in general, is a blessing amidst the chaos, for we were able to find a partner that help us solve most of the issues and difficulties that we and our students had during the pandemic where face-to-face is suspended, they gave us a platform where we could ensure that students are learning.

Vorteile:

Neo LMS or Blink as we call it, have had been with Berkeley during the pandemic up until now that helping us to ease the learning gap between teachers and students. With the use of the LMS, it is easier to embed videos that we use in our lesson, where we could check if they watch it or not with the use of different assessment tools.

Nachteile:

There's no particular least favorite part on my end, for I appreciate every tab, every function of the LMS. What I would suggest is to train us on how to use gamification so we could utilize this part more.

Blended Learning Made Easy

Kommentare: My system of teaching the lessons and assessing the students changed when our institution adapted NEO LMS. Before, I am always worried of the suspension of classes and its effect to the flow of the lesson to be delivered but having NEO with me it eliminated the fear of not meeting my class in a face-to-face set up. NEO brings me closer to my students whether we go synchronous or asynchronous.

Vorteile:

NEO LMS is very easy navigate. Lessons can easily be done even without the users guide or manual. I really like the customer support because of its efficient and quick response. In terms of grading assessments, I find it easy with the use of its Rubric feature. Before, I used to have a lot of papers to bring whenever I go but with NEO LMS, I just need to pull out my tablet to check the submissions of my students. Lastly, my students are more engaged and they enjoy more because of the gamification feature which other LMS don’t have.

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any cons about NEO LMS. Its the perfect LMS for me. I have tested and tried other LMS which are complicated to use. But with NEO, everything is easy. If there is one thing that needs improvement, it would be the mobile app specifically for android devices.

Organization, everything is clear and easy to find, it permits to you optimize your time Quality material is very good and professional videos, lectures, quizzes, etc. is in excellent quality Grades are easy to find and see all of them Languages, are a lot of languages available to set your environment and profile Forums to ask and discuss with your classmates or with the teacher

Nachteile:

Price, I didn't pay anything but my teacher pay for have the course available there Registration, I have to find a username and password. It will be better if you use student mail account.

NEO LMS is great for teachers who have online assignments.

Kommentare: I have been using it for years now and love it.

Vorteile:

Tech support is supreme. I can give online and offline assignments. I can update/edit projects anytime, anywhere. They are constantly adding new features and refining others.

Nachteile:

Navigation is sometimes awkward. For example, getting to 'Notes' for a student, there is only one route.

Keeps getting better! Excellent support

Vorteile:

- The support team is fantastic. - The system is very easy to use. - The dev team is constantly pushing out new features requested from the community and the feature set continues to grow!

Nachteile:

- Given a lot of the new functionality being pushed out continually, certain bugs exist (as they do in most SaaS), but the team is always on it! - There are various features you might expect to work one way, but sometimes they do not work as expected. - The reporting seems robust, but is quite wonky and a lot of data you would expect to be captured is not.

This is targeting as it best!

As an eLearning Designer, I truly appreciate personalized features and prices! Cypher Learning is one of my favorite companies in the industry right now. And offering special prizes and features for education is a must!

Nachteile:

As amazing as its features are, sometimes it can get overwhelming. Too many options and not all teachers or schools have the real experts to make the best of it. Anyhow, the users manual you can download and the many tutorials available are very helpful.

Pros and Cons of NEO LMS

Kommentare: NEO LMS is indeed very useful for E-learning and virtual classroom management. Conduct of lessons becomes more organized and managed because of the features we can be found in this software. There might be some glitches but I can say that I am satisfied with my overall experience in NEO LMS.

Vorteile:

As an educator, the best feature of NEO LMS that I have really utilized is its assignment management. I can customized the fonts of instruction, add rubrics and schedule the posting of activities. It helps me organize my class and monitor the progress of the performance of my students.

Nachteile:

The feature that I seldom use is the calendar feature. The fact that it is quite limited and cannot be customized well, is also one reason why I would rather use other application for calendar.

NEO as a tool for online schooling

Vorteile:

Giving varied activities and having an organized gradebook makes it very simple to use

Nachteile:

Attendance log is not customizable according to the school's desired format.

USA using NEO for 2 Years

Kommentare: Fair, however, will appreciate if online quizzes can be improved by not allowing students to browse any resources online to include in NEO LMS lesson itself.

Vorteile:

Ease of Use, easy navigation, and others.

Nachteile:

Limited Apps in App Center that can be integrated with NEO such as respondus lockdown browser and monitor. The created lessons can not be downloaded and converted to a word and/or PDF that will be readily available to our students' option of asynchronous modular class.

NEO LMS for learning.

Kommentare: NEO LMS is best especially now that we are in this generation where technology is the key to everything.

This software is highly recommended. What I liked the most is that this software is all in one.

For me, every part of this software is essential for us.

Kommentare: Productivity! This product allows me to be more effective in what I do and profess.

Vorteile:

NEO has it all! I've a course creator and content integrator since 1996 and I can create academic solutions for an entire region, district and schools. NEO allows me to measure student performance across each boundary and create a community of learning among all stakeholders. NEO has very powerful tools that goes beyond the regular institution administration and operation, this is a holistic education tool!

Nachteile:

As an educator and technology user in the classroom need to have off-line capability so in countries like mine where electricity is not a constant student can keep working while there is no connectivity and resume once they are back within the range of our net coverage.

Very good training portal

Kommentare: I use this training portal in my day to day work for an insurance broker that has to have over 2,000 sales staff fully trained. The portal allows me to easily create organisations, classes, lessons, modules and students and combine them all to create structured learning that is easy to track, easy to report on and all for an affordable monthly cost. The support forum is a great place to raise any issues and there's always someone available to answer any questions I have. It's not perfect and is still improving each month, but it allows me to do my job more efficiently and does a lot of heavy lifting that I would otherwise have to do with spreadsheets and time that I don't have.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, customisable aspects.

Nachteile:

Some issues embedding videos, but support forum is a big help with this.

VERY USEFUL TOOL FOR MANY PURPOSSES

Kommentare: The experience as admin and teacher has been great. The experience of the students and users has been nice but always with an improvement comment of something that for now it cannot be adjusted. Great platform aldough, it has fullfilled most of the company´s requirements. Thank you.

Vorteile:

Very easy to implement, easy understanding of the process to create content, courses, paths, etc. The platforms base is really easy to navigate (admin)

Nachteile:

There are some features that should be editable or personalizable to provide the user a better experience navigating. There is no drag and drop content option or chance the location of widgets, menu, boxes etc. This may give another good experience to the user.

We've used this Portal for several years, and it is satisfactory for our needs.

Vorteile:

We are familiar with this software. It does everything we need it to do. Our participants are able to find what they need.

Nachteile:

It could be prettier and easier to navigate. It can get complicated to find what you're looking for, and the ease of enrolling participants is cumbersome - a mail merge or excel sheet upload would be extremely helpful. The Calendar is a total mess, and requires constant attention in order to update it.

NEO Online Classroom

Kommentare: I use this to manage an online classroom for 500 users. It is fairly easy to create assignments and monitor student completion. The NEO team is responsive to any questions.

Vorteile:

Developer continues to add features. Dependable platform. Easy to use for student and teacher Allows posts within assignments for student-teacher communication

Nachteile:

Student-Teacher messaging system is not searchable for key words and does not show all messages sent to a student.

School Use

Vorteile:

We use this LMS for our K-12 school for teachers and students. I like the ease of duplicating courses from one year to another and the ability to have multiple teachers per course.

Nachteile:

The calendar doesn't integrate well with iPhones and I've been restricted to desktop/ laptop use. I'd also like to have a better way to give feedback to submissions than what is currently available.

NEO LMS is easy to use, offers competitive prices and its support has short response time.

Vorteile:

As an administrator, I like the ability to synchronize enrollments using API. I also appreciate that with Enterprise Plan I can now re-activate archived users myself.

Nachteile:

I would like to have choice to select from more roles for our users, or even better - to have a role which can be customized. We need stronger Monitor or weaker Admin account.

Great Function and Support

Kommentare: We have been able to meet all of our LMS objectives within an affordable platform.

Vorteile:

This is a robust LMS platform with relevant support and improvements.

Nachteile:

I wish the administrative dashboard was more customizeable.
