Sehr nützliches Tool

Vorteile:

Das Programm ist mir schon seit Jahren bekannt. Ich verwendete es erst als backup, auch privat. Jetzt ist die Hauptverwendung als Synchronisierung. Entscheidend war, dass Programm die FTP Server als Ziel/Quelle ansprechen kann.

Nachteile:

die Zeitplannung ist etwas verwirrend, ich habe manchmal auf Windows Aufgabeplanung ausgewiechen.Als backup kommt mir das Auslesen der Quelle etwas langsam vor.Das Frontend Design ist nicht ansprechend, die Auflösung z.B. könnte größer sein.

Great tool and great service from support!

Vorteile:

It is very easy to set up, use, and it does not require loads of resources.

Nachteile:

Nothing, appart from when it started to crash at Windows startup. Fortunately, the support helped me by suggesting installing a Beta version which solved the problem.

Great product but very bad support

Works great and reliable and great features. Also no problem syncing through remote devices

Nachteile:

1) on main site no way to log in into account to edit profile & payment method 2) a) had a problem with autorenewal (wrong payment method), did receive numerous reminders and went on web site to purchase (what I thought to be) license renewal b) kept receiving upgrade notices to renew "previous purchased version" c) I was proposed to delete old record to make account "clean" but support never proceeded to delete old account d) after correction to payment method, autorenewal of "previous purchased version" went on and, on this day, I've paid twice to get latest version of app e) at this time, no response from support dept as I want to get a refund on the latest autorenewal payment All this to say, great product but their support dept is so bad...

Great Product

I have had the program for several years and it is relatively bulletproof. On the rare occasion I have an issue, the support team responds quickly and resolves my issues immediately. It’s my understanding and settings that causes the issue-not the software. Great product and great service

Can’t fault it. It’s bulletproof (until I try something different).

Lots of features, but product doesn't work

Kommentare: This product seems to be a product with too many features such that it cannot perform the very task it was designed for: copying files. Miserable experience. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Vorteile:

Price. It had more features than I needed. Most were ridiculous "corner cases". I purchased with support (sucker).

Nachteile:

This product does not work well. I've tried with 2 major initiatives, both failing miserably. 1) copy from file server to NAS device was so slow, the job never finished. Contacted support, who gave some suggestions, but it did not help. Abandoned project. 2) copy files matching a certain pattern from a file server to a NAS, could never get the correct files and sub-folders. Contacted support (for over 2 weeks), but never resolved the issue.

Robust and Affordable Backup Solution

Kommentare: I've been using this for just over 10 years now and have been impressed with all it's capabilities. It has many options available and can be configured to adapt to the way YOU do things. It's performed flawlessly and gives me the peace of mind I need, knowing that I have both onsite and offsite backup for all my critical files.

Vorteile:

Flawless integration with Amazon SSS and local NAS. Always adding new features. Great support!

I love SyncBack Pro for my SOHO business

Kommentare: I store my initial instance of data daily data on NAS drives. I use SyncBack Pro to back up my NAS drives nightly to a second "backup NAS Drive," and then I back up that drive nightly to the cloud.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and peace of mind that my backups occur without error nightly.

Nachteile:

The learning curve was moderate, but it is easy to use once it is figured out.

Nachteile:

I wish that when going into the filter to manage files and folder to select, there was a search filter that allowed me to type in the name to quickly get to folder or file without having to sort through a very long list of folders.

Professional grade backups for any size organization

Kommentare: I've been using SyncBack Pro for over six years. It meets all of my backup needs.

Vorteile:

Ease of configuration, baxkups and file restores. The feature set allows extensive customization if you need it.

Nachteile:

There is not much I don't like about SyncBaxk Pro. The only suggestions I have for future release:For backups...if the destination folder is blank, just start copying files. Currently it reads the source folder contents before writing to an empty folder Introduce a way for SyncBack Pro to log changed files as they are changed so the analysis phase of source files doesn't take so long before starting to copy.

It has everything I need. Compression, encryption, versioning, SFTP through custom ports, incremental backup, scheduled backup, easy to use.

A very good software for backup!

Kommentare: I can make daily, weekly and montly backup of most important software in use in my workshop, so I can take a "snapshot" in every moment. In addition, software send me all day report of all executed processes.

Vorteile:

In my opinion the most about this software are the easy setup interface and price for a little workshop as mine.

Nachteile:

I'm a little user and I cannot use many functions that program have. In my opinion, this software works very well bau I'm not able to evaluate all functions that are present on it.

SyncBackPro usage review

Kommentare: It has "saved my bacon" twice when I had to restore all my documents and application development files -- PRICELESS!

Vorteile:

Simple to use once the backup profiles are established. Ability to exclude specific files and directories using a mask specification (e.g., "/Obj", or "*.deb". Ability to launch a file comparison program before backup to see what has changed! It has NEVER let me down, unlike EaseUS ToDo Bakcup which has failed me twice. Fortunately I had concurrent backup with SyncBackPro both times! Versioned backups!

Nachteile:

The dialogs used to initially create a backup profile seem a little strange visually. I'm used to them, but when I first used SyncBackPro I found these simple dialogs to be actually confusing. The rest of the profile creation/modification dialogs are as expected for an application with so many important options.

My Backup Solution For Years

Vorteile:

I can depend on this software as it just always works. If there is a problem, this software has a way of letting me know easily. The problems that are found are problems with hardware or other software/files. Settings for everything! I run 30+ profiles for either synchronization of business files over FTP, local network storage, and redundant backups of personal photos, videos, pdf repository, and other important documents.

Nachteile:

Until the latest version which I am now using the beta, when working with FTP it was confusion at first glance to know which side was source and destination but I think that is being addressed.

Best backup and recovery application

Kommentare: gives peace of mind knowing data is secured and backed up when ever needed or in case of emergency.

Kommentare: I have always been satisfied with SyncBack Pro.
I used the free version for a long time, but the Pro version is really adapted to my needs.
I use it to backup my personal PC, on which I have several working disks.
More and more of my life is stored there, especially thousands of family photos.
But as a former CIO, I'm a bit paranoid about the security of my data, and I do backups on several drives and a NAS.

Vorteile:

This software is very easy to use. I had no problem installing it and setting it up according to my needs. After using it to back up my professional workstation, I now use it for my personal home computer, which is even more valuable than the one at work!

Nachteile:

I have a hard time finding any negative points. The task planning could be a little bit more user-friendly.

Amazing backup management solution

Vorteile:

Before I got this, I was trying to manually mirror across 3 drives. Getting Syncbackpro allowed me to implement a 3-2-1 system with confidence. Now my whole archive of my lifes work securely backed up, and I can rest easy knowing I'll never lose more than a few days work (at most).

Nachteile:

Nothing. It's complex, which means it takes some time to learn, but that's a pro. Support is excellent too, helping me even outside of my "support window". Don't let that odd system put you off!

Relyable and full featured!

Kommentare: Very satisfied. We recomend it to all clients, it is our basic backup tool. We do IT support as outsourcing providers and have installed it to morethan 50 clients over the last 4 years

Vorteile:

We rate 1. versioning, 2. backup to Cloud and to destinations with credentials other than the ones of the Server and 3. notifications as very significant features.

Nachteile:

We have documented the options we use to make it easier for our technicians to configure, as there are quite many options
