Nachteile:

The options and features of this software are less extensive than those of its rivals. A specific issue is the lack of graphical design tools.

Flinto is a life changing app!

Kommentare: Overall i would Definitely recommend flinto to anyone who is looking to bring their ideas to life. This app has all the works. So easy to use and the customer service Department has been so helpful answering any questions i have about the software.

Vorteile:

I like how easy to use this app is. We use this app to make our ideas and prototypes come to life. Its so simple to set up the app and they have so many options to better help the customer. Like 3d and sketch options!

Nachteile:

So far i have absolutely no complaints about this app. Its all been positive and honestly life changing for our business.

Functional fast prototyping for iOS

Kommentare: I loved it, for nearly 2 years it was my best software to micro animation for E2E prototypes

Easy of micro animations, animate on curve

Nachteile:

It was a buggy software, not developed by the big team so went the point of death

Give life to screen design

Kommentare: Create interactive and animated prototypes without writing a single line of code.

Vorteile:

I like how you can build an interactive and animated prototype so easily. Some of the key features like adding sound and exporting video of the whole interaction are deal breakers. 3d rotation is quite easy with flinto which help me explore another dimension in design. The community is growing strong and very helpful, if you are stuck you can ask questions and someone will help.

Nachteile:

Nothing so far works well for ​interaction and animation.

My Favorite Piece of Software

Kommentare: I get to deliver design handoffs to engineers faster since the animations don't take as long to produce.

Vorteile:

Animations and transitions are an important part of my day to day work. Flinto has made working with other software like Sketch seamless. I use Flinto to finish designs and refine them by adding animations and transitions that need to be communicated to the devs. Best part is, a lot of the transitions and animations can be easily translated into code. For the most part, it's a very beginner friendly software if you are new to animations.

Nachteile:

I would love to see more sharing capabilities. Currently, it's very limited. There are instances in which I'd like to be able to share designs with engineers, but it's hard to share an interactive prototype with them. The ability to send a text or email with a interactive prototype would be very helpful.

Replica of our actual application

Kommentare: I have created flow by using this software and it is more useful when application is small.

Vorteile:

Flinto helps in better understanding of the application. After designing part we face the issue of flow of the app. By flinto we make the connection as per our flow of the application. By connecting each other they are move yo the next place. First we load all the screens here and then we go one by one connecting them. It is easy and less time taken process and user will feel the actual thing going in the app. Real app have the same flow as in the flinto.

Nachteile:

It must be more specifically uniquely identify where we are going to make the connection. If application is of more than 100 pages then if you want to change flow it makes difficult at that time just like impossible. You have to start from begining.

Well priced advanced prototyping tool thats great for a seasoned UI designer.

A bit challenging to learn - I wish the tutorials out there were more comprehensive.

Get a professional looking prototype in no time

Kommentare: Flinto is my go-to software to create high-fidelity prototypes with amazing animations. It runs natively on your phone, adding so much more to the end experience. I've used it for everything, from showcasing projects, to putting great prototypes in the hands of users.

Vorteile:

Flinto is a really user friendly software that allows you to create complex and sophisticated animations quite effortlessly. It integrates perfectly with other softwares, and runs just like a native app on your phone.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately Flinto doesn't allow you to create interactions based on independent components, instead of just animating a screen transition. it'd make this software even more powerful.

A good alternative to make UI interaction animation

Kommentare: It was a new thing in the company I work, so everybody was surprised when I showed up my UI with interactions and animations. From there, some others designers started to use it.

Vorteile:

Flinto is a very good alternative to make UI animations and interactions. Unlike other softwares like After Effects, Flinto is focused on User Interfaces, that said, you'll find very easy to create a mobile app animation on the software.

Nachteile:

The free trial is very short. I would like to use it a little bit more. although it is intuitive, you need to watch some tutorials before in order to understand how the flow works. Once you have learned the basics, you can create more complex interactions.

Good for basic mobile animation and prototyping

- Good if there is very minimal animation and mobile prototypes - Interaction design can be made very easily

Nachteile:

- Creating animation is quite time consuming - Creating animation and interaction needs more learning

Powerful prototyping tool

Vorteile:

Flinto is a great prototyping software, very intuitive interface that allows you to create interactive prototypes in minutes. The process is really fast! :) Another nice feature is that both texts and vector shapes are editable.

Nachteile:

However, I found out that the app can start working slowly if you work on a complex prototype. As a result a video you record becomes not smooth and buggy. Hope this issue will be fixed soon.

Animations made simpler

Vorteile:

It is a good tool to replace After Effects and create some animations and transitions for your interface. Nice to use for presentations, since it really makes things pop out and makes everybody gag at the meeting

Nachteile:

I wish there were more settings of speed and type of animation, some of the tricks required reading the manual to make them work, other than that the tool is fine.

Wonderful app for creating amazing prototypes

Vorteile:

Very intuitive interface, powerful features. Flinto turns your static designs from Sketch into interactive prototypes. You also can create an animated video to present your designs to stakeholders and colleagues.

Nachteile:

Personally I'd better purchase a stand-alone license than had to make payments each year. But the app is really good.

Better than Principle, for an interaction design tool it's fairly simple

Kommentare: Overall, a fun tool to design interactions and animations, and the value is there, but compared to a one time fee, the value is questionable to me.

Vorteile:

I'm a regular principle user and this is actually easier to use than principle. Same idea as tools in the same industry(animation/interaction design and prototyping), but I actually enjoyed the functions, features and UI a lot more than the others.

Nachteile:

Becomes irrelevant with tools like ProtoPie, or Adobe XD's auto-animate features. Also, pricing model on a subscription mode isn't my favorite compared to Principle and others one time fee.

Flinto is a great native macOS app for creating simple UI prototypes.

Kommentare: Flinto is a great way to produce basic transitions on macOS.

Vorteile:

Flinto integrates seamlessly with Sketch and is a really simple way to create native-looking prototypes on macOS that can be previewed on your iOS devices.

Nachteile:

Flinto lacks the customized and complex interactions that can be produced by competitor apps like Framer. Also, with Framer, it is easier to manage in same-page prototypes with states in code, than to manually configure everything in Flinto.
