The particularity of This VPN is that it offers additionnal features like an automatic kill switch and DNS leak protection.

Nachteile:

It doesn't work with some websites that use advanced protocoles against VPN users

A VPN with good value for money

Kommentare: My main purpose for using a VPN is to stay anonymous and access geo-restricted content; HMA solves this.

Vorteile:

I initially went with HMA because I was looking for a VPN with a huge number of servers in several countries. The product checked this box easily. Apart from this, the setup is quite simple.

Nachteile:

On one or two occasions, I noticed that some server locations as shown in the software were actually different from what IP checkers reported. Some of the IP addresses are also blacklisted, but this is a general problem with most VPNs.

Kommentare: While there’s no doubt that HMA has its fair share of drawbacks, it is still one of the most reliable VPNs on the market. We were looking for a VPN that reliably unblocked content from US Netflix and BBC iPlayer. The HMA app is easy-to-use and has all the features we need to protect your privacy while browsing online. However, as we wanted more advanced features or support for other platforms we considered another provider.

Works with US Netflix and BBC i-Player. HMA is one of the few VPNs that allows you to stream American Netflix from anywhere in the world, as well as BBC iPlayer from wherever you are located.Has the largest number of VPN server locations. With over 700 servers in over 70 countries, HMA has more options than any other VPN provider when choosing a server location for your connection. This means fewer dropped connections and faster performance when downloading files or streaming media content like movies and TV shows online.Very fast download speeds. When using an HMA server, I was able to get download speed averages between 20 Mbps (megabits per second) and 50 Mbps on my home connection while connected through a UK-based server location. HMA offers a variety of easy-to-use and well-designed apps for different platforms. These include macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS devices.

Nachteile:

1. In the past, HMA has been known to hand over user data to authorities.2. The kill switch can fail at times.3. There is no Firestick app or Smart DNS tool.4. It's based in the UK (FVEY jurisdiction).

Easy to use but not flawless

Kommentare: The application was used for QA testing of various applications, mimicking the real location and testing the functionality of VPN detection. As a paid tool, compared to other similar applications and free alternatives it is still an affordable option for professional or hobby QA testers even with low budget.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and select target GEO with the dedicated app. Minimal setup is required, everything is self-explanatory

Nachteile:

Often refused to connect or just jumped to another server without notification. Found a little bit expensive compared to the competition. Detected that real IP address leaks in certain situations.

Essential when you are in countries like KSA

Kommentare: Just brilliant; even FaceTime worked with HMA, so that I could keep in touch with my small children at home while I was in KSA

Vorteile:

How easy you could get access to the software, easiness of use and of course the fact that it gave me access to company applications from KSA.

Nachteile:

Nothing, it’s a great product that I can highly recommend to other that are traveling extensively in the Middle East.
