Great Load-Test-as-Code tool
Vorteile:
- Gatling dedicated language provides convenient way to implement load test scenarios - The ability to choose and mix the injector locations (AWS EC2 regions) is really great when it deals with a product used world wide. - Great real-time reporting
Nachteile:
The tests must be implemented in Scala using the Gatling SDL language. Sometimes the syntax is not easy to understand and implement but the documentation helps a lot and provides lots of relevant use cases.
Excellent tool
Vorteile:
Easy to get simulations up and running with easy to read reports that can be viewed in real time. Documentation is excellent with lots of information on how to set up and get the most from using the software. Excellent engagement from support team.
Nachteile:
No cons that I found at present while working with the tool.
