Kommentare: DoubleClick is behind Google Adsense which I use, along with millions of other publishers. It has been a very simple and easy monetizing solution for many websites, and connects advertisers to their potential target clients.

Vorteile: The payouts by DoubleClick are the best among all PPC companies, and always have been. This is a company that is synonymous with the PPC industry. Therefore, you can be sure these guys offer the best performance, both for advertisers and publishers. The intelligence acquired and used by DoubleClick to serve up the right ads to the right person is unequaled in the industry.

Nachteile: CPC instability and overall decline has been a trend over the past decade. Ad blocker usage and low quality advertisers have also increased. DoubleClick needs to do more to stay on top of things and I'm not sure if they are doing that well enough.

Vorteile: DoubleClick For Publishers, or DFP, is the industry standard for ad serving. They provide a seamless integration system and are utilized by over 80% of publishers. DFP is intuitive and understands ad creative implemented into its system. Their reporting functionality is thorough and they provide a nice layout for viewing creative campaigns and on pace reports.

Nachteile: DFP does need some work on their reporting end, including work on speed and time to load a report. In addition, DFP has some ways to go with their viewability functionality and creative rendering space.

Vorteile: The pros are that the software is fast and reliable. Once you learn how to use it, doubleClick performance well. Easy to understand ad results, downloadable reports are great to send to client and intergation into web sites aka Wordpress is somewhat easy

Nachteile: My con was the layout. It can, at first glance, be intimidating and confusing. Looks slightly un-user friendly. DoublClicks also doesn't have or maybe I just don't know how to remove my competition off my ad feeds. I had to use another code to eliminate them.

Kommentare: DFP has allowed us to better fulfill on display advertising for top of the funnel marketing. We would not be able to schedule and distribute these efforts as efficiently or effectively without the software platform.

Vorteile: Google's re-branding and re-release of their DoubleClick for Publishers platform, along with their Google for Advertisers strategy, has been an overall positive experience. You definitely need to have some technical experience to get the most out of DFP, but a little training will do wonders for your results within the system. You can upload all of your key display advertisements, ensuring you're getting the most out of your top of the funnel marketing efforts. Set your budget, the timing during which you'd like the ads to run, and let Google do the rest.

Nachteile: A little bit of technical expertise goes a long way with DFP. Although the system is fairly intuitive, there are a lot of different areas of the platform that appear to offer the same functionality, but aren't necessarily the same. You'll also want to make sure that your CRM is syncing with Google to ensure delivery based on an ordered product/campaign. High level, the software is a solid option, but it does take some time to ramp up.
