A great tool for lead generation in eLearning!
Vorteile:
Six months in, and Cognism has become essential for our team. We used it to boost our lead quality—especially to find decision-makers we wouldn’t have known existed otherwise. We’ve been able to integrate it with HubSpot, which is great, though we do miss a list-building feature there. Thanks to Cognism, we’re reaching more relevant leads, have booked multiple sales meetings, and we’re actually about to close a big deal!
Nachteile:
I’d love to see more customization options in the cold email templates, but even as is, Cognism works great.
A very complete and user-friendly software
Vorteile:
I think Cognism is the most complete, complex, and user-friendly software there is, at this time, and I can say that as I have been using it daily for multiple hours/day for more than 4 months. The web extension is a really great feature, due to its accessibility and user-friendly interaction. It has a very complete database regarding leads, with a lot of verified contact details, along with a great way to better qualify your leads, and not waste time on low-quality ones. Our CSM is very prompt and easy to talk to. He is always there whenever we have a problem and always finds a solution to the problem.
Nachteile:
I would say the thing that I somewhat dislike are the cases in which the Chrome extension cannot get information details from some of the LinkedIn leads, especially from countries in Asia more specifically.
The best B2B data tool I've used!
Kommentare: Cognism is the best B2B data tool I’ve used. The accuracy of the data is brilliant and the platform is very reliable. I’ve had issues with other tools in the past, constant bugs and crashes that slowed me down but Cognism runs perfectly. The extension is smooth and it integrates easily into my workflow. Since switching, I’ve been able to find and connect with qualified prospects so much faster. It’s saved me a ton of time and helped me book more meetings

Nothing. It has no database- all available is never updated emails and phone numbers. 90% bounce rate on emails and 95% the contact number is not available.

very consultative sales approach and seemed driven by creating value for us and finding the right version of the solution that best matched our needs as a business; rather than the salesperson being focused on their target and commission. Also the UX on the app is lovely and the data is very accurate.
Nachteile:
I really had no qualms using Cognism. I would suggest it could integrate with more systems but then I work at a company full of many disparate systems.

It has happened a few times that data is inaccurate but this is to be expected and not a major problem.

Vorteile:
Having implemented Cognism into a handful of different businesses, and therefore having experience of utilising the data in multiple industries, selling to a range of buyers, I can honestly say it's unrivalled for both ease-of-use and data quality. I've explored alternatives time and again because Cognism certainly isn't the cheapest on the market, but also because due dil, and time and again it proves to be the only enerprise data platform worth its salt, particularly for the UK and EMEA. It's a tool I use on a daily basis and wouldn't be without. I'll always come back to Cognism for: 1. Ease of setup and onboarding 2. Intuitive, easy to use for all users 3. Simple and robust integration with Salesforce
Nachteile:
My score would be a 10 but for customer success. My most recent experience has been very hands-off (we literally haven't heard from them since the first week of onboarding). Saying that I don't really know what I'd need them for since it's such an easy to use tool, but it would be nice to hear from them once in a while.
Invaluable Daily Prospecting Tool
Kommentare: A daily sales tool used primarily when finding new prospects and potential clients. Instrumental to my team's daily routine at work.

The ease of finding new prospects in different sectors and the ability to find contact details to assist the sales process.
Nachteile:
Sometimes there is contact info that is not up to date or missing entirely from the contacts you would like to pursue.
Great tool for BDRs/SDRs

Cognism is an amazing tool for prospecting. I've been working as a BDR for about a year now and I use it every day. I like the user-friendly interface and high-quality contact data. It's essential for my outreach activities. I also appreciate integrations with Sales Navigator, Salesforce and Salesloft, it make my workflow really smooth.
Nachteile:
Sometimes information on the phone numbers I need is missing but our customer success manager is always eager to help with that.

Using Cognism to contact key stakeholders instead of Accounts
Kommentare: Great, using it on a day to day basis and imagine how my daily routines would look like without.
Vorteile:
The fact that i can more or less bypass switchboards and receptionists completely and get in direct contact with the key stakeholders, saves me a lot of time and calls.
Nachteile:
Nothing really, there are features to be improved as with all systems.

Data extracting is quick and easy, you can be as granular as you like. Intent is a great feature too.

data can sometimes be on there which is out of date or incorrect job titles

Couldn't work in my role without it...
Kommentare: I use Cognism everyday and my overall experience is that I wouldn't be able to be as successful without it. So it is a very important tool.
Vorteile:
The quality of data available for companies that I couldn't find elsewhere and having the chrome extension tool when searching LinkedIn.
Nachteile:
Occasionally some data is out of date, for example a specific contact may no longer work at the company.
Amazing Software
Vorteile:
Cognism is super easy to use! I don't know what I would actually do without it. It makes my job 10x easier as I would have to constantly call through the office instead of being able to phone the CEO's mobile!
Nachteile:
Sometimes the direct dials can be the HQ of a prospects old company. That being said if you just put the number into google you'll quickly know if it is or not, so its not a big problem at all.

Data platform with accurate data
Vorteile:
It has a huge bank of majoratively accurate contact data for contacts who can often be critical for a campaign/project.
Nachteile:
Some of the prospector search functions are a little underdeveloped

What I like the most is the accurate information, accessibility to verified emails, and information about the accounts, that is revised by the team. It has allowed us to expand our business furthermore.
Nachteile:
What I like the least is the fact that you cannot search for distributors of machinery as you would with final customers, through activity codes (i.e. NAICS)
