ManageEngine OpManager Review

Kommentare: OpManager is a versatile tool with a reasonable price. It offers many tools and this helps butgets of customers as configuring only the necessary modules at that time. Their licensing is mainly based on their module selections and this ability helps customers in a good way. Additionally, they have standalone and distributed structures which is found very adaptable for the customer environments. This only makes the product is a good choice.

Vorteile:

The product is easy to use and covers most of the needs for infrastructure monitoring. Additionally, it has many modules which can be added like Network Configuration Manager, Netflow Analyzer, OpUtils, etc which helps network teams to get the most out of a monitoring platform. Once you're familiar with the UI (which is very short time), you begin monitoring immediately.

Nachteile:

OpManager is a great tool but new features comes into the product a bit slow. Additionally, application and network monitoring concepts begin to intertwine with each other today but this is a bit slow for OpManager because I believe OpManager and Applications Manager (app monitoring tool) began this journey separately and now they're being merged in a manner of time. It's not bad but it can better.

OpManager is a nice Network Monitoring Tool.

Kommentare: I have been using the product for 1 year. It gives good alarms and allows me to do good monitoring in the network structure.

Vorteile:

Alarm triggering in the product and headmap in dashboards are very nice. It can monitor everything with SNMP.

Nachteile:

Dashboards and mapping should be improved.

Real-Time monitoring effective tool for server monitoring

Kommentare: I have used it for 3 years, and it’s been a great tool for real-time monitoring.

Vorteile:

There are many features which are i like most like :- 1.Report Generate :- I can generate on a monthly, weekly and yearly report. 2.Real Time Monitoring :- I can easily monitor multiple servers and network devices on a single interface. 3. Alarm notification:- I receive real-time notification like alarms. 4.Chat Support :- I chat to support anytime is a great way to resolve issues quickly.

Nachteile:

The only downside of this tool is that we cannot monitor servers when the network is down. However, this can be resolved if you have a reliable network.

Efficient Customer Support and Clean Interface Elevate User Experience

I like the UI, it's very simple and graphically clean. The support service is very efficient, with only an email you can open a support case

Nachteile:

IP manager, that isn't smart and it takes too many time to implement

OpManager is the best monitoring tool I've used. I've used many for years.

Kommentare: It's excellent. I do recommend OpManager to anyone who needs to monitor any onprem servers. We get quick, meaningful, actionable alerts that help us fix problems before people know they're happening.

Vorteile:

It is easy to setup and doesn't have the bloat and slowness of other similar products. I've used Solar Winds, HP OpenView and WhatsUp Gold at multiple companies. OpManager is better than all of them.

Nachteile:

I don't have a cons list. My cons were all cleared up when I switched. Solar Winds is too slow and hard to setup. WhatsUp Gold used to be great but became too bloated when they switched to the web version. OpManager has a web interface that is fast and the monitoring isn't difficult to setup. I don't miss any features compared to similar products.

We have worked many of the IT/Networking tools, provided by Zoho/ManageEngine. OPM is one of them and this tool helps us to monitor complete IT Infra and Network with required all details along with the reports and alarm/notification to manage.

Nachteile:

Sometime it's bit hard to compare the result of traffic on each interfaces coming from backend

Kommentare: Overall it is a pretty good product,satisfactory performance for medium level customers,not really good for data oriented researchers.

Dashboard holds the key for OPManager as compared to other tools,this has an informative dashboard.It is user-friendly also.First configurations are pretty easy to handle.

It is not highly data oriented when compared to PRTG and observium,not all server equipments can be configured with OP manager.
