Kommentare: Nutze sehr gerne und immer wenn möglich, weil es so vielseitig anpassbar ist und sowohl für Konzeptdarstellung als auch für Prozessmodellierung oder Diagramm-Erstellung wunderbar geeignet.

Vorteile:

Die Pfeile zwischen den Objekten sind sehr flexibel in der Anwendung, auch die Auswahl an Tools. Man kann auch Junktoren einfach hinzufügen und somit eine optimale Visualisierung erreichen.

Nachteile:

Bis jetzt keine Nachteile entdeckt. Es wäre schön eine Exportmöglichkeit in Excel oder Word zu haben.

Vorteile:

Einfachheit der Bedienung. Optisch ansprechende Assets

Nachteile:

Es gibt nichts was mir an draw.io nicht gefällt.

draw.io in der Prozessdiagramm Nutzung

Vorteile:

Das Tool eignet sich gut um Prozesse in einem Diagramm darzustellen, es ist leicht zu bedienen und man kann schnell und einfach ein Diagramm erstellen

Nachteile:

viele Features sind unübersichtlich, man braucht ein bisschen um mit dem Tool "warm" zu werden.

Top Tool mit Spitzenleistung

Kommentare: Perfekt zur schnellen Erstellung von kleinen und umfangreichen Flowcharts und Diagrammen. Egal ob Unternehmensstruktur oder Prozessabläufen. Alles kann schnell und flexibel erstellt werden ohne vorab große Überlegungen anstellen zu müssen. Änderungen sind einfach und schnell umsetzbar.

Vorteile:

Das beste an draw.io ist das es relativ intuitiv und einfach aufgebaut und zu verwenden ist.

Nachteile:

Wenn man sich erstmal ein bisschen mit draw.io auseinandergesetzt hat gibt es eigentlich nichts was was nicht möglich ist.

draw.io als Prozessfunktion

Vorteile:

Ich nutze draw.io um Prozesse zu bauen, man kann sie dort schlicht und übersichtlich darstellen

Nachteile:

Leider ist das Tool am Anfang etwas schwer zu bedienen.

Schnelle, umfangreiche Skizzen in Diagrammform gut abbildbar

Vorteile:

Für einfache Diagramme kommt man schnell weit.

Nachteile:

Wird es komplizierter bzw umfangreicher in dem Diagramm verschiebt man häufig die falschen Elemente. Für das Feintuning kann es schönere Lösungen geben.

Schnell hoch qualitative Diagramme / Abbildungen erstellen

Kommentare: Als Wissenschaftler und Softwareentwickler verwende ich Draw.io überwiegen um Abbildungen für Veröffentlichungen und Präsentationen zu erstellen. Hier gefällt mir insbesondere das schnelle Erstellen von Software-Flowcharts und die verschiedenen Icons / Symbole welche zur Verfügung stehen.

Vorteile:

Vorlagen und Icons sind super. Schnelles Prototyping. Qualitativ hochwertige Abbildungen.

Nachteile:

Die Ausrichten Funktion von einzelnen Objekten ist schlechter als bei Inkscape. Eine Export Funktion für Latex (ähnlich pdf_tex bei Inkscape) wäre wünschenswert

Diagrams Features

Kommentare: Ich nutze es sehr gerne, besonders für die Visualisierung von ereignisgesteuerten Prozessketten und für die Mindmaps. Mir gefällt auch die Funktion, dass mann ein bereits vorhandenes Diagramm weiter nutzen kann und nicht jedes Mal ein neues erstellen muss.

Vorteile:

Diverse Bereiche lassen sich gut modellieren oder visualisieren, anpassbare Vorlagen, viele Tools. Benutzerfreundlich, nach einiger Zeit kann man die wichtigsten Funktionen gut beherrschen. Passt gut sowohl fürs Studium (mind Maps) als auch für Geschäftsprozesse-Modellierung.

Nachteile:

Die Pfeile sind manchmal unflexibel, mann muss ein Vorgang mehrmals wiederholen, bis man es in einen gewünschten Zustand bringt.

Kommentare: Draw.io is my diagramming tool of choice. It's free, and easy to use, and you are free to download your diagrams in a variety of free and open-source formats for use in other software. Nothing is locked behind proprietary formats, or predatory pricing. If you want the more enterprise features to collaborate with bigger teams, you're welcome to pay, but you can go a very long way on the free tier.

Vorteile:

I love that draw.io can be used entirely for free, there are no diagram types nor crucial diagramming features that are locked behind a paywall. They have a wonderful free template library of starter diagrams and their tools are competitive with even most paid diagramming software. I absolutely love draw.io.

Nachteile:

Bigger more complicated diagrams can become slow and janky to edit, but being a web-based tool a completely understandable constraint, and can usually be forgiven and/or worked around by splitting diagrams up into more digestible chunks.

Kommentare: I’ve been using draw.io to make entity relations diagrams, to know how I’m going to design the database.

Vorteile:

Integration of other tools, templates for elements, diagrams and flowcharts. There’s also support for dark mode.

Nachteile:

Sometimes loading the diagrams takes a couple of seconds, there’s like delay.

Kommentare: I absolutely love using Draw.io. It is my go to tool for create various kinds of diagrams and flowcharts. I have the tool added in my word plugin as well to easily access the diagrams.

Nachteile:

I think that Draw.io can be further improved by allowing to select the flexibility to, for example, connect the shapes with the connectors at whatever location desired. Further, I would love to see a lighter version of the plugins and direct access to draw.io diagrams in word or adobe.

A really good software product which can aid multiple departments, not just for technical support.

Kommentare: This allowed team collaboration quickly, simple and intuitive. I would recommend this to anyone technical that may have to draw charts, diagrams as well as for sales teams to enable quick process flow demonstrations, its a flexible software.

Vorteile:

The immediate thing that was enjoyed within draw.io is the templates and selection of icons, later I found I could also search the icons with key words, once diagrams are created the arrows and connectors when properly aligned snap in place, say the user was drawing a diagram of a home network with a router connected to a PC, laptop and printer, once the connectors are snapped in place - if the user of the software drags the router to another place the connectors move with it.Now of course if you have linked with straight lines, and in once colour it can end up looking messy, draw.io allows you to change the colours, and edit all elements very easily, so the straight line can be curved. Adding small labels such as text was super quick. The software was really easy to use.It integrated easily into confluence, and the files could be saved and detached to send to other users in email. HR was able to use it to create org charts and whilst sales team was not seen using it to create new items they often requested diagrams and edited them for their own use.

Nachteile:

What I found tricky to use in draw.io was the page sizing and scaling, it was tricky to see page margins, I also didn't find the control using a mouse easy when editing diagrams, this however is both minor and subjective as my peers made it look very easy, with the exception of page sizing and scaling there is not much to fault with this software.

Kommentare: Overall, I have always had a great experience with draw.io. I first used it in my university days to develop various diagrams required for my assignment. Since then, I have been using it and have recommended many friends and collogues to use it. I have tried other software like draw.io but have never considered switching to any one of them.

Vorteile:

The fact that draw.io is completely free for everyone is the best part about it. Many of it's competitors have expensive pricing plans. Draw.io is so easy to use and accessible to anyone, anywhere. A beginner can learn to use draw.io in less than an hour. One of the best features about draw.io is it's drag and drop feature which comes in handy all the time. We have been using draw.io in our office for more than a year now for making flowcharts, ER Diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams and other diagrams required to develop an app or a software.

Nachteile:

The fact that draw.io does not have a lot of templates is something that I don't like. Other software offer much more templates than draw.io but at a cost.

Kommentare: Sometimes it's so hard to explain the plans, architectures or flows without visualizing it. At this moment, it's very vital to draw diagrams. Draw.io really helps me to understand and explain the workflow to other colleagues. I can say that my overall experience with draw.io is excellent.

Vorteile:

In my professional career, I am working with multiple cloud providers all the time. I can find the icons of most of the resources of cloud providers like Azure, AWS etc. This really helps me to create great diagrams.Also another great feature, I can export my diagrams in PDF format so that I can share it with anyone.

Nachteile:

Not a least liked feature but I'd be glad if draw.io adds the icons of the newly published resources of the cloud providers.

Very simple tool for creating flowcharts

Vorteile:

diagrams.net is easy to edit and customize according to our needs. It is web software that has a lot of templates which is simple and accessible to all. It allows us to save instantly and also, we can connect it with many applications.

Nachteile:

While reopening a document it takes much time. It is difficult to access charts and flow if there is any connectivity issue or any issue with google drive.

Great sketch App

Kommentare: It allows me to attach drawings to projects in my custom built app.

Nachteile:

Free software to create flowcharts and diagrams
