Kommentare: Great product for going to trade shows and selling products there remotely and when they don't buy from the website. It is quick to make an amount they need to pay.

Vorteile:

I like that I only had to pay for the unit that hooks to my phone and then there is no monthly fee unless I need more features.

Nachteile:

No way to take a payment without or with bad internet and then hold for later until there is service.

Clover is better!

Kommentare: We migrated from other very popular payment processing platform and found Clover does better in most of the use cases.

Vorteile:

I like clean and optimized web interface, customer database, invoicing module.

Nachteile:

I would like to assign custom invoice numbers (perhaps PO numbers) to invoices generated via Clover.

Kommentare: When setting up our clover account, we had minimal issues. The customer service team is always responsive and quick to answer any questions we may have. Our rates are phenomenal - the lowest rate % we have been able to find! Everything you need is right on your clover device - inventory, prices, adding disounts, receipts.... SUPER SIMPLE!

I really enjoy using Clover because its EASY! The card processing steps are so simple and the machine is smooth to navigate!

Nachteile:

I have zero negative comments about Clover.

Nachteile:

Customer service and they will take your money even though you ask them not to. I had to close my restaurant for personal issue, so i called the clover and spoke to someone regarding Monthly clover service charges and he said no problem. However, they debited 9 months $49.00 for subscription plan fee (not the machine lease fee). They would not give you money back nor care to contact you because its their mistake

Vorteile:

The ease of use of the online pos systems.

Nachteile:

That they changed my customers extra fees for using a credit or debit card. On top of what I was already paying them monthly.

The crash of Clover

Kommentare: I’m a month pass our warranty and because of their crash I end up having to pay over $300 to replace a piece of equipment

Vorteile:

A piece of equipment failed because of their crash and unable to use the system basically out of business until it is fixed and I had to pay for it. It’s been over a week already looks like another week.

Very unreliable I had a business you better have a back up system like Square and an iPad and a cash register

Easy to use and looks appealing

Kommentare: Good, have used them at our veterinary practice for the past 4 years. Customer service and sales are easy to work with when we need to replace/upgrade

They handhelds are easy to transport and are visually appealing, especially with the new upgrades. Easy to use and print end of night reports, easy for techs to bring into rooms to check clients out

Nachteile:

It is to easy to accidentally refund a clients card if you hit the wrong button, wish that it would connect to our PIM system (AviMark). No stylus or pen provided for clients to sign their name

Kommentare: Terrible experience. Zero help from anyone. Just to cancel was an act of congress. If I could avoid a company, in any business, doing anything, I would avoid Clover.

Vorteile:

Nothing. Unless you like add-on fees that you don't get from other processors, avoid Clover.

Nachteile:

Never ending erroneous fees. Zero help from customer service to explain and/or dispute. Customer service spoke with broken English and NEVER helped a situation. Clover called something "Quarterly PCI charge" and would charge whenever, bi-monthly. They just drafted the money when they wanted. Deal breaker was they came up with a "Security Bundle Fee" of $299. No one at customer service could explain what it was and there was not getting out of it. I cancelled account and after account was closed, they still drafted the following month. Clover is the worst processing company.

Best restaurant POS system that can be fully customized

Kommentare: Honestly the best POS system I have used and I have used many in different establishments within hospitality. Clover has been the most reliable and consistent, and not to mention the most versatile and customizable. Oh and the POS machines look aesthetically pleasing too!

Vorteile:

Incredibly easy to navigate and simple interface. Love how Clover has the ability to do everything as a restaurant POS including placing orders, taking payments, integrating a reservation/waitlist option, and even a camera option, which allows for digital QR codes/gift cards to be purchased or applied as payments towards order.

Nachteile:

In my 2+ years of using Clover, I haven't identified any cons. The only minor issue I have noticed it connectivity issues on occasion but that is expected with POS systems and also may not be specifically related to Clover.

2nd amendment friendly processor!

Kommentare: Very positive. Employees ive spoken too where nice. It was easy to add extra processors.

Vorteile:

It is very hard to find anybody that will want to work with a second amendment business. I was suggested Clover and was doubtful. When I contacted them they were extremely nice and told me they were all in on providing for a second amendment community! Setup was a breeze and ive never had a issue with them!

I've not had a negative experience yet. So i cannot complain

Kommentare: Absolutely terrible. They will tell you anything to get your business but then when there’s a problem, they are nowhere to be found. Do not do business with these guys if you are in the southwest, or California. Trust me. Don’t make them the same mistake I did.

Vorteile:

I like the ability to send credit card invoices directly to clients that are encrypted.

Nachteile:

These guys cannot be trusted. My dollar volume is close to $1 million a year and my average sale was between $2500 and $5000. I do tax consulting. When Clover suspects anything on your account, they will hold your money. They will also take their fees out of your account without paying you. I have had $90,000 on hold for Eight days so far. Clover is unresponsive, they don’t give me a timeframe of what’s happening, or anybody to talk to. My rep is in Arizona, and California, and I would avoid her like the plague.

nothing at this point our credit card machine is been down for over 3months we are still being charged for it our money is on hold for over 3 months all this because a customer mad a dispute one illegitimate dispute.

Kommentare: Horrid experience. In this day and age we have to suffer such incompetence for a high price. Numerous calls no resolution. Agents will not escalate calls. Different department different function wash responsibility from each other between technical, leasing and cs. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience was/is. Continuing battle to get hold of someone. Square is the way to go! Set up in one day. Customer service agents able and willing to help. So much support for success of small businesses. Clover will keep debiting your account even if deactivated then no one to fix the problem.

I like the service when it works, it's easy to use and integrates with our software, just don't make any changes to your account

Nachteile:

Cardconnect support is non existent - spent 6 weeks trying to change bank accounts with no help, support or answers. Customer support is somewhere else, can't get anyone to help they just read from a script, don't listen, and have no capacity to help

Kommentare: The rep from Clover on the initial sales committed that there program could do something that was instrumental to our sales process. Simply it was the only thing that we confirmed with them that it would be able to do. After repeatedly being told yes, it could do that, we signed with them. After signing, we were informed that despite being told it could do it, it cannot. When we brought to there attention that we had been told it could and we had those conversations recorded, they basically said that's not their problem. Additionally they locked in for 4 years without providing this service and now we have to pay to get out early.

Very Little worth mentioning in the whole process

Nachteile:

Cant do some of the services that they claim it can. Very long contract.

I can't find any benefit of using this company, whenever you call, you have different answers for the same question again and again.

Nachteile:

Stay away from Clover, they don`t have an explanation about their charges, they take out money from your account at any time. The sales rep told me I could cancel my services at any time, but when I requested to cancel my services they said I have to pay $500 for cancelation. I have a very bad experience.
