Vorteile:

easy to check technical Impacts because using own Namespace in SAP implemented interface and other function modules; fast track implementation possible; highly integrated into the SAP Master Data and capacity planning transactional data modell; visualisation of planning results following the Supply Chains as well as alerts for stock Development, Extended ATP, Capacity Situation recent and in future, as well as Simulation mode available; using of campaigns in capacity planning aggregated and disaggregated; easy dialog in combination of graphical and table views and Excel Exports supported; technical understanding of the supplier in SAP configured processes, data and functions; Client-Server Architecture and supported remote Administration and Monitoring as well using of XenApp Clients possible; needs not an own Data base server; scalable and partly configurable reporting functions by customer

Flexible customizable Software

Kommentare: Business specific requirements could be solved with MWB.

Vorteile:

The MWB is a User friendly and intuitive Planning tool. The customization is very flexible and ORSOFT is very open to get Customer requirements done and changes accordingly the standard setup. Support during projects is very good, the short reaction time for important issues does help to keep the business running. A great benefit is the dynamic ATP check and the Gantt chart set up.

Nachteile:

For some changes cost intensive. The start takes sometimes very long, because the master data are maintained in external system (SAP).

Great to see dependencies

Vorteile:

To see the dependencies of the several Productionlevels in one tool. Changing one step influences the complet production schedule- visually

Nachteile:

Takes really much time to feed the tool with data

Kommentare: MWB allows us to incorporate our many manufacturing risks into the produktion plan.
In addition, we are now able to send our production plans directly to the production departments via the SAP Systems. No more Excel sheets are needed on paper.

Vorteile:

I like the graphical representation of different mistakes. A great advantage are the technical posibilities for scheduling the process orders.

Nachteile:

The processing times of the data take too long. In our version it is not yet possible to undo individuel steps. (But this should already be changed in the current version)

Kommentare: During the SAP implementation, we found that the SAP standard neither provides a clear overview of the production planning, nor does it have the additional disposable data in simple overviews. ORSOFT has solved these issues for us and we have introduced a tool with MWB that considerably simplifies and accelerates the planning for us.

Vorteile:

the very simple intuitive operation in contrast to the SAP standard. Master data and transaction data can be checked very easily and the dispatcher can easily be provided with all the data required for work. Functionalities such as the material cascades are very useful for the operative work and facilitate the work very much.
