Beautiful, Simple Data.
Kommentare: I had been looking for over a year for a product like this. Our company wanted to have an interactive map that was broken down by county in the Northwest United States. The products we were looking into would have required us to upload our own maps which would have been very difficult and costly. When I discovered Datawrapper had built-in maps by county I was ecstatic! There were so many map options to choose from and it was so easy to import data and color it.
Vorteile:
Datawrapper was super straight forward. I just jumped right in and started working. It made easy work of some fairly complex data. In just about every step of the process, I was amazed at how much of our data it could handle. There were features I was ready to write-off as non-existent across the board but Datawrapper just kept on exceeding my expectations.
Nachteile:
The only tricky part was color coding our map. Having a tiny slider with color options is very simple and good for heat map type projects but we had several categories we wanted to highlight in our map so adjusting the colors took some patience.
Datawrapper makes me look like a PRO!
Kommentare: The data I have showed through Datawrapper not only looks professional, but I get ask all the time how I made it!
Vorteile:
The preloaded maps (and the amount of different maps) are a life saver!
Nachteile:
I wish you could change the colors of the maps/background if I'm being really picky.
A solid choice for graphs and interactive charts
Kommentare: I’ve switched to Datawrapper fromFlourish because I needed more control over how my graphs looked online. Datawrapper offers more features to customize charts, but there is a learning curve.
Vorteile:
Datawrapper offers a way to generate polished maps, charts and graphs with little to no programming knowledge.
Nachteile:
There is a learning curve, especially when it comes to making maps. You have to know at least a little programming to make sense of the options and troubleshooting a mistake can be very clunky.
Great tool for data visualisation
Kommentare: Datawrapper is a very easy-to-use tool for us to visualise performance data of different investment funds. Simply upload data via Excel, select the visualisation format and adjust the appearance if necessary - that's it. It couldn't be simpler!
Vorteile:
Great tool for data visualisation. Easy data import via Excel / eg. CSV tool. Large selection of formats in the data display, colour customisable, various download options ( png, iFrame etc),
Nachteile:
To date, there is nothing in this tool that we in the team do not like or have to criticise
